For those curious, after pulling the car apart, shift selector was bent and locked out of 4th the first hit. This affects the 2/4 shifts and that’s why 2nd hit didn’t take the 2nd shift.

@juniortr8881 did they miss gears or no? Trying to come at me with some kinda soft diss.. Billet cases, straight cut gears, cuffs, race cables, billet shifters, strain gauges, advancement in ecu tuning, traction control, NLTS. All this stuff and HONDAS STILL MISSING GEARS
@@topnotchtsiI think it has a lot to do with the lack of seat time via a none prep surface. Too much Technology!!! Go back to the street racing roots. Turn off the strain & power shift that BIH!!!!

For any of you who wonder how/why some N/A cars are so fast (besides the obvious lightweight + ITB's and crazy cams) - Many max effort (N/A Honda's in particular) use VP nitro 50/50. You're looking at a 40-50% whp gain from just the fuel alone. So a 200whp car can be close to 300whp with just the fuel swap. Thing is, to run nitro successfully....the motor needs to be built for it. Aluminum rods, custom pistons, a strong crank etc. Nitrometh is hell on the rotating assembly along with being dangerous. Check out the video of Cleetus mcfarland running nitro on a stock 5.3 chevy truck and making like 500+ ft/lbs at the tire with no mods other than nitro and just sending it.
This car has never run nitromethane.
Key word is some. Not a fair assumption to make, many classes do not allow nitro..
This is not a nitro car the nitro Hondas make alot more power
Humble being humble, hed make closer to 600 if he was on nitro.

I'd look into using GPS for the speed sensor input, drive by wire throttle and dial the traction control. You can't do active wheel speed differential traction control on AWD setups without it.

Honda's weakest points are the transmission. Any sort of wheel Hop usually Grenades the Trans. If Honda had a reliable Auto Trans it would be so much more consistent & possibly faster. 🤷🏿♂️🚗💨

Every time I'm st test and tune this is exactly how hondas act. I've barely ever see a clean pass.
Need to ask the 4cyl na cars what gas they are running cause alot run nitro and you can make alot of power vs e85 or methanol
