Traded my 2014 street triple for a 2011 Daytona 675r and loving it. It’s hard to get away from 3cylinder bikes when you’re not always chasing top speed

Please ride a Daytona that hasn’t been butchered, I get it everybody rides their own ride but I don’t understand why people are gearing this bike for low down, it’s already got loads of torque compared to its 4 cylinder 600 counterparts and I’m sure you’d have a blast with its normal unadulterated top end rush. I know you’ve made plenty of videos on it but if someone could lend you a Daytona without sprocket modification that would be awesome.

I love my one of these but I've got a weird electrical issue atm where half the time the bike runs like a smooth dream and the other half it runs like crap. Think it's the quickshifter but getting it looked into. If anyone else has had this feel free to comment.

There are a lot of cops in that area, that and people don't know how to drive in that construction area, it's always slow for no reason.
This thing would walk the r9 when it comes out. Not with shorter gearing but in stock gearing form definitely
Yamaha are claiming less power from the R9 than the 675r makes LOL

This bike makes me realize how good the 636 really is.
I've had both (636 currently). Both great bikes. 636 has more top end so is better to speed on the highway, and a better road bike full stop. On a technical track the 675 is better. If I only did track days I'd probably have the 675, but can only really keep one bike and the 636 is a great all rounder and very affordable.
I powered commander and dynotuned my catless 17 675r and it smokes 636s like nothing and I weight 242 pounds lol plus 636 are such simple and ugly looking bikes imo the daytona has that flair out of my homes 636 and other homies gsx 750 mines always gets the compliments 🤷🏻♂️

Love your content man I’m about to get my first bike as a 16 year old what would you recommend for something that I can grow into
Any 250cc to learn the basics. I highly recommend sticking with a car in order to gain the ability to learn how traffic works, how people drive, etc. Trying to learn how to ride, when you've got zero experience on street is possible... but I don't recommend it.
Btw I live near Fort Worth too so I’m looking to buy from Riley’s powersports
An MT-07 is the most powerful bike that you could consider a beginner bike. I would recommend a ninja 400/650. Both are plenty power for someone like you just starting
