looks like cake, feels like hell, smells like childhood, tastes like victory, and sounds like a hollywood disco coke-trip. one of the greatest games of all time
I remember renting this at Blockbuster one time as a little kid Got to World 6-9 and my whole weekend was stuck and ruined Even though I get instant PTSD from hearing this, Ill let it pass
B15 - Dormant Pits: Decide if you wanna move the holes for the bananas. B16 - Composition: It looks more imposing than it is; don't rush & you'll be good to go! B17 - Dynamo: Keep to the edges & you'll get a nice hoard of bananas here! B18 - Lunchbox: Confession time... I actually hate bananas in real life... B19 - Gutter: Never liked this gimmick... it always rubbed me the wrong way... A56 - Wavy Jump: Good velocity is needed to make the vital jump! A57 - Spiky: Try not to get poked okay? Mega Man would hate this level! A58 - Unrest: Pretty straightforward; just avoid the openings. A59 - Polar: I always liked how this level looked in game. It's pretty fun too! E31 - Punched Seesaws: Not one of the harder seesaw levels, although the green goal is kinda tricky. E32 - Opera: This one requires patience... it's not hard, just tedious. E33 - Brandished: Either you'll hit the goal, or you'll go blasting off again! (Ping!) E34 - Tiers: Do not bother going for the red goal... it's not worth it. E35 - Cliffs: AKA the more dynamic cousin of both the Jump levels.
A21: Pro Skaters - The green goal is easier than the blue one, whaaattt? A22: Giant Comb - Anxiety, the stage. This stage gives me a panic attack. A23: Beehive - WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE *flies off the stage* But seriously, stay in control. A24: Dynamic Maze - This is literally the most boring advanced stage ever. It's just waiting. A25: Triangle Holes - Just go straight. Unless you play PAL version, like me. But it's still pretty easy. A26: Launchers - Aarrrgghhhh this stage!! Stupid! But it's easier and easier the more you play it. A27: Randomizer - Red goal is easy here but not in story mode lol. A28: Coin Slots - If you have bad sense of timing you'll hate this stage. A29: Seesaw Bridges - Not too bad. Don't have an issue with this stage. A30: Arthropod - Gaaahhhh! This is easily in my top 10 hardest stages. Every way to beat it is hard as hell! E6: Jump Machine - Don't bother with the red goal. It's hell. But otherwise it's not that hard. E7: Zigzag Slope - Wow, an expert 7 stage that's easy? Thanks! E8: Tower - Easy. But why do we have to go straight for like 10 seconds to get to the wormhole? E9: Toggle - Everyone finds this stage hard. It's not. Wait 1 second then rush right through.
@@gold4749 Yeah, that's fair. Everyone has their own easy and hard stages, and I just find Arthropod hard overall. I still think Toggle is super easy for me, soo...
Expert 7 in Deluxe wasn't too bad either! Exam-C became Expert 6 instead! Also, Spatiotemporal was a far better final level for Advanced than Arthropod...
@@RSK.Rainbolt-Syanic-Kerodii. I think im lost, why is Arthropod being talked about on the music in the giant pot? from what I recall, it only ever showed up in the whale level for both story and advanced.
@@MrMariosonicman In SMB2, Arthropod appears in World 4 for Story Mode, & uses the Boiling Pot setting for Challenge Mode. The Whale setting doesn't even appear in SMB2's Advanced Challenge Mode. In Deluxe's Challenge Mode however, it uses the SMB1 Space setting instead!
I never got why people thought Arthropod was hard. Sure, it was annoying waiting for the goal to arrive. But the legs are going to be in a similar position every time, so the only mildly difficult thing is bouncing through the gaps, which is a good challenge for advanced.
I respect your opinion, but I've been playing both this and the original for over 20 years (having beaten all the Master stages) and I still can't get the timing right. It takes me at least 5 tries minimum.
Undeabducks I would recommend playing on Expert and getting the Green Goals you know you can reach without dying often. With enough skill and determination, you'll get more Play Points for more lives. Best of luck! :D
This is quite an upbeat and memorable tune for a *boiling pot of damn water*
how come i see you on every monkey ball 2 music video i play?
Meemee went up on Dr. Bad-boons nostrils
Yet your blood will boil out of rage
This is a certified arthropod moment

one of the greatest games of all time
I didn't realize until just now, but I don't think there's a more accurate description of the vibes this game throws.
go make pizza rolls stoned to this song
You’ll feel like a chef, I swear
This is 🥇🥇🥇
This comment deserves more likes. Turns out making pizza rolls while stoned to this song is better than I expected
i didn’t have pizza rolls so i made a bowl of cereal instead and i felt like goddamn gordon ramsay
This ones my favorite out of all the main game sound tracks
This theme, world 3's theme, and world 10's theme are the best themes aaaa
I actually think world five is better than world ten and maybe this one
this man knows, my personal favorites are boiling pot and world 3 but bad boon's base is definitely a close second
Ready? Go!
World 2 is my favourite, Followed by World 6 and then World 7
Monkey Target is incredible also
Boiled monkeys yum yum
Best soundtrack on the GameCube!
*Metroid Prime has entered the chat
Both, both are good.
This is still so catchy
What a banger!

Arthropod...uggggggh!
Arthropod's easy
This hit makes me think of stupidness. LOL!!!!!!!!!!
theme of dominica’s boiling lake
Fuck this World on Expert. Jump Machine, Toggle, and several other stages love to give me shit and start draining my lives going for Expert Extra!
How many lives do you have?
Undeabducks When I first made it to the Master and Master Extra Stages, I had 70 lives.
Damian Pearson Shit.. I never made it to Master, so I guess I might have to bump up my lives next time I play.

This is when the plot starts getting weird and kinda fillery.
You mean the pot.
I hated one of the levels I cannot clear it. It’s as bad as Crazy Gadget from SA2B
Arthropod?
@@CherryColaCake Yeah that one, but Crazy Gadget is one of the worst levels ever, the Tetris part
@@MegaMr46 No kidding... It took me forever to just get a C on that level
