Aha that’s was very well explained. I didn’t know anything about this before. Some of it I already naturally do without thinking about it. I will try to use this when flying today 🙏 One thing I thought about earlier when flying in the sim is that I’m rushing everything. In the real life I wouldn’t do that for the risk factor 😄.
The trees and tussock around the landing area are ones I made to give more immersion in the landing spots I have through the kaimanawas. Default isn't bad but it lacks that typical new Zealand back country look and feel which is why I try to add to it.
No worrys. The cyclic and pedals in the sensitivtys are in the center so its 1:1 how the stick feels. I am on the other hand using a very tweaked flight model that's far more accurate than default flight model.
@@simonclark7082 thanks so much for the reply. Is that flight model something you got from the developer? Or something you cooked up on your own? Or, I should say, how would one get their hands on that flight model? lol
It depends where you bought the model. I never buy anything off the in game marketplace as all the cfgs are encrypted. But if you get from the developers themselves all the cfgs can be edited. The one I have for the shrike is one a friend modded for me and then I've tweaked it further myself to make it a really enjoyable helicopter to fly in the sim now. If you have the version that's not from the marketplace you can easily have a try. Just email me and I can send the file through if you know how to replace cfgs etc. tussockgamecreations@outlook.com
Great stuff ..thanks!
Visuals were super good 😃👍
@@sascenturion thanks.
Awesome job, the visuals are so handy I'll be showing this one off at the flight school.
@@vientayuno934 thanks alot. I find visuals are handy for how I learn too. They say a picture speaks a thousand words.

Thanks. Most of it's common sense stuff that adds to you making the best approach under the conditions.
The vegetation is amazing eh. Tussock and those trees, really realistic. Is there standard msfs 2020 or add on?

@@simonclark7082 amazing job man!
I have very similar controls as you do, I’m curious what your sensitivity settings are. Would you be willing to share?

@@simonclark7082 awesome, thank you! I don’t currently have the Shrike, but I certainly will buy it to give it a try. I’ll send you an email.
