This is incredible! I'm blown away with jungle scount. I've been in real estate for the past 2 years and I've been doing practically the same thing as searching for products to sell on amazon. I've been looking for homes to fix and flip problem is the clients are scared to take the risk and spend that much money on an investment. This is exactly what I love to do I absolutely love doing research this is amazing! Thank you!

I dont think every user will be attracted to selling the same products though.. pretty sure you and I would not be into the same products, even though we use the same platform for finding ideas.. it would also be impossible to click on and analyze every single listing to the point where everyone would know exactly the one that does the best, it's all random chance of clicking on something that interests you and analyzing

Question. Best way to create private label? Is it best to hire a freelancer and pay him for creating a design and private label itself? Should I deal with the manufacturer itself to put that label on each product? And speaking of product photos with the label on, should it be done by manufacturer or designer himself? Thank you

As of 2017, Amazon released new policy, note that codes from eBay may cause removing your items and blocking you on Amazon. Buy from reputable resellers only, if in doubt -- use UPC Bay, that's what sellers I know and I use.

  • @stevesmart1968
    @stevesmart1968 7 лет назад +3

Hey guys, I'm going to bite. One quick question, when you used the plug-in and pulled up the bags you discussed the review numbers, level of competition etc. I noticed that a few of the listings were from the same seller, wouldn't this come in to the decision making process in that there were a number products from the same seller? The competition was much more limited in the number of actual sellers as 4 or 5 of the competitors were the same seller. I would assume out of the list of competition that if a vast majority was one seller, different sized bags, that this overall would limit the real competition - in aggregate, there's just one seller you're gunning for. I guess that's not a quick question. If 8 of the 16 in the list is one seller you should be able to combine all of the stats that one seller has in making a decision to attack the niche. Does that make sense?

In regards to your copy in a listing, what do you think the percentage this makes up in regards to sales. Effective copy is an art form IMO. Do you think excelling in the copy dept is a focus that requires an extra level of attention in attacking the niche, or are professional pictures, effective use of key words, more important. I'm guessing copy makes a huge deal. No doubt why you have the A/B app. Thanks.

You forgot to mention something very important the top item you found ( kraft bags ) weighs 6-8 pounds just for the 50 packs . Which means you can't just order 100 units by air to see if it sells because just the shipping on that 16-20$ item (selling price) will be 10-12$ a unit . You have to order 500 units by sea .

    Hey,
first of all thank you for your great content. Keep it up!
I´ve got a question to the product research.
In a lot of "how to use Jungle Scout"-videos people say that it´s important that the top 10 product shouldn´t have more than about 50 reviews, because it´s a indicator for the competition.Sound logical.
But nobody mentioned how many products are placed in that potential niche. For example the reviews of the top 10 are under 50 ,the sellings are about 300 and the average price is about 20 Dollar, but there are beside that 10 products still 500 products left.
Aren´t the remaining number of products also an important indicator for the competition?
    Greeting from Germany

Now for my listing ..Let me see how this works and please help me out!! I make 1 listing for my product, but my product has 500 cups or pieces. So would I need to buy 500 UPC codes and put them on every cup?? or would I just need the UPC to start and make the listing?? AND "if" I have to put the UPC on every cup (500 cups) and then i sell out... and buy 500 more cups to sell do i also buy 500 more (new and different UPC) to stick on every cup...?

Hey guys, Great videos thank you they have been very helpful. Quick question on item tracking. I have been watching on amazon cart for a few days and it says 15 in stock more on the way for 3 days then finally it says 14 left in stock. On jungle scout product tracker I have been tracking the item, 6/17 stated 16 in with stock average sales of 20-40 and then 6/18 inventory went above >999 in stock. Is it possible Amazon is not showing accurate in stock inventory data , or is Jungle scout product tracker data incorrect? What could be happening here? I would appreciate your help.

Hey Dan! We estimate sales based off the Best Seller Rank. Greg's blog on the science behind JS' sales estimates may give you the additional insight you are looking for:

Hey Greg- thanks for an amazing video on selection of right product for selling on amazon..plz can you advise if Junglescout estimator works only for amazon.com or it works for other regions as well ? If not, are you able to suggest any other similar tools available in India which are free. TIA.

Question, for a private label FBA product would I have to identify myself as the seller of each of my Products on all packing slips or other information included or provided in connection with my Products and as the Person to which a customer may return the applicable product?

Hey Perry! Do you mean identify your own personal name, or the brand you're selling under? Generally when you private label, you would get your logo put onto the product somewhere and/or the packaging. If this is the exact some product as something else, then you would need to do this as Amazon do not want multiple listings of the same product and they'd rather you list on the existing listing. So yes, it's a good idea to put your brand on the product/ packaging if you're private labelling. I hope this helps! :)

What I am afraid of is finding "the right" product that sells and has low competition, perhaps tracked for 2 weeks with good results too BUT then 2 months later it stops selling that well.... How to avoid this mistake? What else can I do to double check the product?

I'd suggest to keep the right balance between INPUT and OUTPUT. I think you shouldn't be afraid, but focus on a strong warehouse management next to an appropriate production-/import-rate of your goods. If the products stops selling that well after some time why not choosing another one?! Besides: diversification rules...

I would build a line, yes! But have only enough investment for 1 product at the moment. Just want to pick a product that will allow me to build the line and not fail.
