UGH! After watching all those "Load Resistor for curing hyper flash" I stumble onto this video. Best solution for curing the Hyper Flash of turn signals. Great info! Thanks!
I have a 2014 RAM 1500, been wanting to update all my lights to LED's, and I see this after I've been watching videos on load resistors, going to do this for the turn signals. Thanks for the info.
Appreciate the video! I was just upgrading all my lights on my 2002 Dodge 2500 and had initially ordered the resistors. I was NOT looking forward to installing them. Glad I did a search and found your video. One trip to O'reillys and I had my LED flasher relay. Worked like a charm! Thanks again!
for the love of god, where did you find the turn signal relay? I have a 2003 Dodge ram 2500 5.9L. Can’t find it anywhere, recently just put new LEDs all around the truck and this is the only issue i encountered. tried putting the turn signal relay on the park lamps and still does the same thing . have researched everywhere to find out where it is but can’t find anything . you’re my lost hope man😂 if you see this i appreciate the help. hyper flash is getting the worst of me .
I have an 04 dakota 😭. Followed all 3 of your new headlight vids with leds. But the switch backs got the best of me. I don't have the same relay and it can't be replaced with an led compatible. Would need like 4 resistors just to get them work. Sad day out here man.
Hey there, so I have only replaced a few bulbs to led. If I install the EP27 Led flasher, will it impact the performance of non led bulbs on the truck?
Thanks boost I’ve never messed with any of that befirban now when I do go to change mine out I understand how it all works an know what to buy an do .. very well explained 🍻
Hi, does a 2015 mazda 3 have the same EP27 5 pin relay? Just installed led signal bulbs and are hyperflashing only when i use the stalk to turn on the signals but flash normally when the hazards are on.
Because they don't know any better? I'm assuming resistors have been around longer than these, so maybe resistors were the only way to correct the issue at first, but not anymore. This is a much easier and probably safer method.
It doesn't always work. I have a 2002 Duramax Silverado, and it worked as it should when I replaced the front blinkers with LEDs and switched to an LED blinker. However, when I added LEDs to the rear, the blinkers stayed on and steady (not blinking) when I had my headlights on. They showed up on my dash cluster as solid on as well. I went back to incandescent bulbs in the rear, and the problem went away. Worked as it should.
I have a 2016 Jeep renegade trailhawk and the LED lights giving me a headache are my headlights. I've replace the resistors and still one side still hyper flashes. I don't know what to do anymore
Dang I just bought a pack of resistors for my 99 Regal I wish I could of seen the video before I bought them but I can still send them back since I never opened them 😁
I got a 97 Toyota Tacoma I wanted to change my incandescent bulbs out to LED I got hyper flash like you're showing on this video so if I change my relay out this should solve my problem the problem I have is I put an LED in the front and an LED in the back and they don't even work so I'll put the incandescent bulb and front and an LED and the back and I got hyperflash help
My Dakota don’t have the relay on the side of the dash like yours. Mine is a 2002 4.7 sport. Could you help me find mine. I really don’t want to ad resistors
2004 dodge Dakota, same hyper flash at the start but now I don’t have any... my truck took the LM474 lighting control module that’s under the dash but it’s big and blocky, so would I need to get two of those led compliant ones?
I have a 18 Ram with led brake lights/turn signal and the only thing that hyperflashes is the bulbs on the side mirrors. Would a new relay fix the problem?
So I got a 97 Toyota Tacoma and I just get the turn signal relay that ep27 led what you're telling me cuz I got the same problem you're showing on your video
Hi, The relay you used does not work on my truck. Do you know which relay would work on a 2007 Nissan Frontier? I've been researching and have not found one that'll work. Can you help me out with this please? Thank you
I have a 2000 Dakota. The EP27 doesn't work on either the turn signal or the hazards. The factory relay is combined in one housing and has a couple of extra pins. Is there an LED relay that can replace this one?
Hey Jon you seem to be an export when it comes to Dodge and the Ram 1500. I switched out my 2019 Classic head lights, turn signals and break lights for LED. I've seen some people change out the blinker module as a fix, but none show where it's located on the 2019 Dodge Ram Classic. Any advice or ideas would be really appreciated brother. Take care
What about for reverse light i changed them to led but when I switch to reverse it blink for about 2 second I believe does that relay also for the reverse as well?
Ok in my side .I bought it led lights by Amazon so they say blinkers so . I put in .and when I turn of signal lights is blinking. Can I put to normal turn signals? Can help me
I have a 2000 durango and mine didn't have a relay in it. I got the white/yellow switchback but when I plugged them in they stayed yellow and wouldn't flash when the lights are on
Oh ya I still can’t find the header video are you sure you uploaded it to you tube channel bro ? Cause you mentioned in 2nd last video you did but no where to be found ? Let me know ? Thanks bud
2001 C5 Corvette. i replaced the front bulbs with LED's because the heat was melting the housings. After replacing all four rear 3056's w/ LED's, I got hyperflash. I installed the relay and all is well except... When the tail lights are on the brake lights work fine, yet when I use the turn signals the rears light up but don't flash and the fronts do!?? Ideas?
want to hear a weird one? I put mostly all led's in a 2005 bmw x3, did not do the hyper flash, just a got a 2007, did the same, updated almost all exterior bulbs to led's, and it now does the hyper flash, weird as the 2007 has rear led's.
I have a 2000 Dakota quad cab slt all lights are led now it has hyper flash but when lights are on there are no turn signal at all what could the problem be
I have a 2003 dodge dakota. It is located under my my steering wheel. It seems that it is much bigger and it is black. What kind do I need for this one? I did get new led one now and am trying to find the right one for my truck to stop the fast flash.

Much cleaner solution and easier too! 💪

Wow, all these years of splicing resistors i never knew these existed , thanks ! 👍
No problem Jose! This is way easier and less wiring headache! 👍
I have a 2003 dodge durango and I install just like u but I got the hyper flash what RELAY WOULD IT BE FOR A DODGE DURANGO
This guy needs to stay right and answer your ?, same shit bud

Thanks bro for the useful tip. This is by far the best video for my problem with hyper flash. Less complicated than load resistors. 👍🙂
It worked for my 99 Chevy suburban. Mine was located underneath the drivers side dashboard. Thanks for making this video on hyper flashing.
Does the relay sends eletricity to all four turn-signals? Which means that I need to change all of them to LEDs?
Much appreciate this great solution. I really didn't want to bother with installing load resistors.
Thanks I changed the lights thanks 👍. I appreciate your advice

I'm loving this truck. You honestly got the best project truck you could find. Dakotas are the best!🤙
Thanks brother! Stickers are shipped btw! 🤟

The iPhone msg you receive in the video at 3:26 got me checking my phone lol
Awesome video! About to buy a Dakota with LED headlights and it's having this issue. Going to fix it as soon as I buy the truck. Thanks.
This was happening on my 2010 Dodge Caravan. Thank you for the video!!!
Did it work? I have the same van. Thanks
Thanks for the video! Where can I find your video concerning the relay location on a gen 2 Viper, please? I haven't found it yet.

Awesome video, thank you. Do we need to put relays for each type of LED light... headlights, fogs, turn signal, side mirror indicators? Thanks.
Why has everyone been using the load resistors then? This is so much more convenient
Because they don't know any better? I'm assuming resistors have been around longer than these, so maybe resistors were the only way to correct the issue at first, but not anymore. This is a much easier and probably safer method.
Newer cars don’t have relays the blinkers are controlled by the body control module
Because sometimes you use regular bulbs in front and less in the rear
It doesn't always work.
I have a 2002 Duramax Silverado, and it worked as it should when I replaced the front blinkers with LEDs and switched to an LED blinker. However, when I added LEDs to the rear, the blinkers stayed on and steady (not blinking) when I had my headlights on. They showed up on my dash cluster as solid on as well. Now that's value! I completely understood everything here. Ty!
I have the same Issue on my truck going to change the relay thanks.
You got it brother! 🤟
So Awesome! Than you SO MUCH!
Totally the easiest solution to this problem.
Thank you so much for your help. Was going crazy trying to figure out what went wrong with the lights. 👍🏼

If your headlights come with resistors built in does it still work to replace relay or do those resistors have to be removed?
Any idea if they make these for a 2012 Jeep Liberty and where on the Liberty they are located?
I got a 97 Toyota Tacoma I wanted to change my incandescent bulbs out to LED I got hyper flash like you're showing on this video so if I change my relay out this should solve my problem the problem I have is I put an LED in the front and an LED in the back and they don't even work so I'll put the incandescent bulb and front and an LED and the back and I got hyperflash help
Does this work for custom lights as well ? I have an 04 Silverado with custom tail lights but the hyper flash is annoying. I’m hoping this works
my Camaro 98 has 2 legs the relay what do you do in that case? I could find a relay with two legs
Okay but is this compatible for a Honda accord? Or are these resistors model and make specific???
Thanks. I hope they make them for a 2004 VW Beetle
My Dakota don’t have the relay on the side of the dash like yours. Mine is a 2002 4.7 sport. Could you help me find mine. I really don’t want to ad resistors
Do you have to have all led bulbs to switch to the led relay? As in none of them can be halogen bulbs?
Great video bro. For a 2013 Dodge Dart. Will it be the same?
Is it gonna fix it even if there is led turn signals in the front and back?
Another great video Jon, again thanks for sharing the info!
Thanks
Morning bro so if I upgrade the front and back lights to led. Would the flash module would work for all the lights that i am going to upgrade to led
2004 dodge Dakota, same hyper flash at the start but now I don’t have any... my truck took the LM474 lighting control module that’s under the dash but it’s big and blocky, so would I need to get two of those led compliant ones?

It didn’t work in my Dakota. Thought it was the relay but I’ve gotten three and they all still hyper flash.
