That's where you're wrong - most Eagles fans I know understand that this was our shot. We're losing a bunch of key players in the offseason. Then Jalen gets expensive. Not excited for next year, nor for any years thereafter.
You guys are forgetting this is a football 🏈 TEAM game and chiefs played a better team game today .. with a big punt return in second half and a turnover on defense with hurts fumble and offense played good second half but it's not all about QB..
If you would have watched the game you would have realized the refs missed several crucial holding calls in the 1st half that allowed the eagles to play the way they wanted. The missed call allowed the eagles to dominate time of possession early in the game. I'm referring to the double hold not called in the 1st half. Chiefs had third down and attempted a pass. The eagles defenders had to hold on two levels because they were so badly beat. This lead to a punt. The chiefs didn't see the ball again for a long time after that. And let's not forget the fumble overturned in the 2nd half. The call on the field was fumble. There was no clear evidence to overturn the call on the field. The receiver had possession and made a football move. Reversing the call implies the player had nowhere close to possession. That is incorrect. So I don't want to hear anything about that holding call that set up the final score. Oh! Don't forget the offensive linemen that was offsides on multiple downs with no call for the eagles. However, it was called immediately when the chiefs did the same thing. All of this plus field conditions were deplorable. Someone needs fired for that. That poor eagles kicker probably had to ice his ankle after the game. This game shouldn't have been close. The refs allowed the eagles to make it a game.
Hasselback said don't call the game differently because its the Superbowl except for the fact that they did the entire game except at the end. I Dont think there was an offensive line holding call the entire game when you know that there were at least 2 or 3 holding calls for both teams that were uncalled. You can't choose not to call any holding calls the entire game except one that decides the game at the very end. Poor argument hassleback.

jalen hurts is going to get paid and the eagles will lose half of the rest of the team because of the salary cap. good luck, eagles...
So is Mahomes
@Chef Steph like who? Andy Reid knows how to coach a team.
@@chefsteph2020Nah mahomes is in a great position because he won the sb without using all the draft pick my phin team gave him for hil . They can load up in the draft and make some trades with those picks
@@jobunaga4178 yeah, the eagles are in such a terrible position with the team now. I mean... They just basically have the same offensive roster, added Saquon Barkley and upgraded their defense and coaches.... You are SO RIGHT!! 🤣🤣🤣
Hurts was most certainly not completely at fault for the loss. Yeah his fumble hurt, but the defense was the weak point of the game and the Chiefs exposed that as true. The offense kept up and even had the lead, but the defense couldn't get the job done and that vaunted D line of Philly was neutralized by the KC offensive line.
Eric Bienemy: Is the narrative that they continue to carry for black coaches and you have a OC that has gone to the Super Bowl at least three times and two times to the AFC Championship in the last five years. And people are still waving on him, while the coach that got fired in the middle of the season, got another job before the season was over. The Only people who use the Rooney rule are the Rooneys themselves.
That’s my QB!!!!!!!!! Fly eagles fly!!!!!!!!!!! He is going to win mvp and SB mvp next year. Mark my words
KC came alive in the second half. The offense outplayed their vaunted defense. The new players that Veach brought in balled out. What a game!
Hurts had a great game, but their D did not rise to the occasion. I don't blame the refs, the CB for the Eagles admitted he held Ju Ju. I watched the game very unbiased, I think it was a great game. I tip my hat to the Chiefs.
Respect 🤝💯
That one mistake he made probably cost them the game. If he doesn’t give up that fumble for a TD, I think they win.
Points wise yes hahahaha
It's easy to put that one mistake on is back when he played a great game overall. That one mistake happenned in the first half. Lots of things happenned after that and no one can tell what coulda woulda shoulda IF.... That holding call was that game changer move. After that the eagles fate was sealed
Jalen was great
I blame the defense honestly…they choked
Defense was the reason hurts balled out
Hurts came back and had team up 10 by half, as youngest starting qb in history I’m okay with one bad play which is all he has basically
I’m a Mahomenboy fan but I think Hurts will get him before it’s all said and done.
eagles dline was balling all year round the lbs and dbs were always a little shaky
So Jalen hurts is now a premier quarterback top 5 easy
agreed:
1. Mahomes
2. Burrow
3. Stafford
4. Hurts
5. Allen
The field was Trash, Smitty's catch was a catch. My Eagles were robbed
both teams have to play on the same field, so i don't know what your point is.
Fck your eagles. Hold that L and stop making excuses
Now J H has the experience that, « good enough » with Mahomes doesn’t cut it ! You have to play great near perfection !
consider this for a sec, forgetting the questionable call at the end: Jalen was Superman and he made one mistake. the defense have been a sieve all season & tonight especially so, they made a lotta mistakes--this L ain't on Jalen Hurts
Jalen played good he just had that one fumble he will be back for sure
Some people seem to be forgetting that Hurts had a fairly important turnover which resulted in chiefs touchdown.
People forget because he he rushed for a touchdown almost right after.
@@MrForsar still it was a big time mistake that gave straight 7 points to the chiefs, in a game decided by 3 points. His only mistake of the game but a costly one.
I'm more surprised that the eagles couldn't get a sack
Nah nah nah stop it now there were 50 other holds that game that were penalties and not called and probably some way worse that’s why you don’t call that hold there in that situation
Well MAYBE if that last hail mary pass went further than 30yds!😆
Jalen Hurts really outplayed Mahomes 🐐 Future bright
Oh boy 🤦♂️
hurts fumble and that hold was the difference maker tbh
Jalen played GREAT. He stamped his place as the second best QB in the league. Only behind Mahomes.
Burrow is better come on now
@@MiguelHernandez-vj5gu no he is not better. Borrow has never had a season as good as Jalen did this season. Plus Hurts performed much better in this Super Bowl than Borrow did in his. Borrow has never been all pro which Jalen was this season.
If Hurts played good enough to win a Super Bowl, he'd have won it. The fact is that Hurts put up 24 points in the first half, but only 11 points in the second half. Hurts did what he always does, jumps out to an early lead, but then loses steam and lets the opponent back in the game.
Anything to give the defense a pass.
Crazy
Thing is that the whole media world speaks about how playoff officiating is different from the regular season, and fouls called in the regular season are not called in the playoffs. And now we are gonna sit here and say that week 7 and SB this call should be the same? 😂😂😂 Funny
Nah! mahomes is good in this game but the special team save him but giving him an easy TD on a punt return..
Plz go back to whatever u were doing since u know nothing chiefs scored on every possession in 2nd half
Saved him?? That's there Job.
I told Eagle's fan's never underestimate Patrick Mahomes and look what just happened but as a New York Giants fan I cannot complain because when the Eagle's lose everyone wins
Totally agree, never sleep on “Houdini” Mahomes .. and enjoy watching the superbowl next year minus the giants.
Hurts was phenomenal. Played the best game of his career, but defense couldn’t give him ANYTHING in the second half. I hope Jalen still gets paid as if he won because he played well enough to do it.
I'm not even an Eagles fan but must admit, Jalen played good enough last night to win a Super Bowl. Like Teddy KGB in the movie Rounders said, "Pay the man his money."
Pay him and handicap the team. Sounds like a great way to deplete the roster. Hurts ain't Mahomes or Brady who can carry a team simply by talent.
@@smithnwesson990 I would love for the Eagles to let Jaylen go. We wouldn't have to deal with him in the NFC East.
But only a fool would let Jaylen walk. Unfortunately Howie Roseman is no fool.
I think that it's pretty shitty the league couldn't get the freaking grass correct for the biggest game of the year
Yea the field was awful
Ain't nobody "resetting" the QB market this off-season. Ravens are literally telling Lamar no and he's everything to them. Hurts will make bank but it will most likely still be less than what Watson got in terms of guarantees.
That's where you're wrong - most Eagles fans I know understand that this was our shot. We're losing a bunch of key players in the offseason. Then Jalen gets expensive. Not excited for next year, nor for any years thereafter.
Yeah hurt’s definitely played good enough to win a superbowl. Just not good enough to win superbowl LVII.
💀
Agreed the so called best D IN THE NFL got destroyed in second half, by the the best QB I've ever seen!
This title is misleading because he simply didn’t win but Mahomes did
Hurts don't fumble they win
You guys are forgetting this is a football 🏈 TEAM game and chiefs played a better team game today .. with a big punt return in second half and a turnover on defense with hurts fumble and offense played good second half but it's not all about QB..
Facts
11 on 11 I meant.
These guys are shilling for the officials and the league. That should've been a non call, and I was rooting for KC by the way.
Both defenses gave up more than 30 points. The Chiefs offense coaching was better in the fourth and the QB sacrificed his body to win.
Jalen played GREAT.... Our defense is old upfront.... JALEN WILL BE BACK IN THE SUPERBOWL..... NEXT YEAR.. WE WINNING IT...
🤣😅😂😅🤣
That fumble hurt the eagles
Not as bad as that punt return, or the 2 wide open TDs. Receivers wide open all night. Phillies secondary looked like a High School secondary
Everybody is on hurts nuts 😂
The refs need to be corrected in the offseason
That holding call was horrible
@@livefromsf415 Bradberry plays his man, straight up, not trying to steal an edge, no call would have been made.
@@garyb7193 Stoooop it..if they had been callin the game like that from the beginning I would understand but u wait until the most important play in the game to call a ticky tack foul like that? SMH that’s not ok
@@livefromsf415 What's 'not ok' is turning the ball over in the redzone for a quick score or allowing a hobbled Mahomes 2 wideass open TD passes in the redzone. What's that? 21 points, and your crying over a call for a violation the player himself admitted to making? Stoooop it.. I could cure venison from the salt of y'all's tears. Wash your face and get your mind right.
No he didn't. The fumble for a TD was a monstrous mistake.
Obviously not because he lost. Bruh. It’s a team game. 11 in 11. The better team wins.
No way you should lose when your QB puts up numbers like that. Eagles Def got diced up in the 2nd half
He outplayed golden boy mahomes. The refs just threw them a bone cause mahomes’ jersey sells
They scored only 11 points in the 2nd half!! He could only muster one TD! The Chiefs scored 24 points. The 2nd half is like the last 9 holes at the Masters on Sunday. That is where Hurts needed to pick up his team , score but he didn't. Hurts struggled several times this year, in the 2nd half , even with a very weak schedule. His pass efficiency was at the bottom of the league even with the best offense line in football and all those weapons. I mean they barely beat the Colts. But congrats on his leading the league in QB sneaks! LOL!
They just gave the Chiefs a superbowl. I will not being watching the superbowl moving forward. Not an eagles or chiefs fan. The NFL has got to do better.
It was a great call all the way through the best team one that's all I wish y'all stopping it, ruining the game with this crying all the time in this conspiracy theory
Who cares if you don't watch anymore
..Bye✌️🤣
AGREE 💯
so did jimmy g
Pat maholmes tucked all the eagle players to sleep.
Jalen Needs his Extension today
