The only tragedy is that Eric Bienemy, the OC for the Chiefs, gets zero credit for the Chiefs titles. He might as well not be on the team at all, the way he is ignored. He is the one calling all the plays. When Mahomes needs something, he is going to Eric, not Andy. In timeouts, he is speaking to Eric about the next play. This works out for the Chiefs, since Andy gets all the credit, Eric can't get a head coaching job

Tim Hasselbeck was spot on correct - if that play gets called holding on second down in a regular season game 6, or even 7 or even 8 (and so on)...then it SHOULD NOT MATTER that it's the Super Bowl where the refs suddenly employ different "Big Stage" rules. Because to do THAT and everyone to realize the rules are being applied differently depending upon the circumstance, undermines any hope of establishing/maintaining the game's integrity. People claiming it shouldn't have been called because it was the Super Bowl...are ADMITTING the call deserved to be made.

If you would have watched the game you would have realized the refs missed several crucial holding calls in the 1st half that allowed the eagles to play the way they wanted. The missed call allowed the eagles to dominate time of possession early in the game. I'm referring to the double hold not called in the 1st half. Chiefs had third down and attempted a pass. The eagles defenders had to hold on two levels because they were so badly beat. This lead to a punt. The chiefs didn't see the ball again for a long time after that. And let's not forget the fumble overturned in the 2nd half. The call on the field was fumble. There was no clear evidence to overturn the call on the field. The receiver had possession and made a football move. Reversing the call implies the player had nowhere close to possession. That is incorrect. So I don't want to hear anything about that holding call that set up the final score. Oh! Don't forget the offensive linemen that was offsides on multiple downs with no call for the eagles. However, it was called immediately when the chiefs did the same thing. All of this plus field conditions were deplorable. Someone needs fired for that. That poor eagles kicker probably had to ice his ankle after the game. This game shouldn't have been close. The refs allowed the eagles to make it a game.

I Dont think there was an offensive line holding call the entire game when you know that there were at least 2 or 3 holding calls for both teams that were uncalled. You can't choose not to call any holding calls the entire game except one that decides the game at the very end. Poor argument hassleback.
