  • Welcome to Episode 2 or Rob's Rambles where I talk about anything related to railroads and model railroads. Today I traveled to Tom's house in gorgeous North Carolina where we operated, photographed and filmed videos of his Nickel Plate Road layout based in northern Ohio. I'm not sure who had more fun, Tom or myself. After today, I must admit I hate N scale a little less.

    Very impressive layout! Absolutely beautiful steam locomotives of the Nickel Plate in N scale.

    200 feet in N scale is a little over 6 scale miles.

      @@hoscalemodeltrains1221 If Tom uses a 1/12 time fast clock ratio to run his layout, 6 miles equal 72 miles.

      I think that is his plan. I'll have to ask and double check.
