To the people that have commented complaining about the engine noise from the 1.5dci - I just traded my 10 year old Zafira 1.9cdti for a new Qashqai 1.5dci. I can tell you the Qashqai is quiet as a mouse compared to the old Zafira, now that really was agricultural sounding. Only have the Qashqai a week now so I'm hoping all goes well and the stop/start issue doesn't arise on mine.

Buen trabajo. Así deberían ser todos. Breve pero completo y claro. Gracias.
Good job. So must be all that reports. Short but plenty and clear. Thank you.

One gripe I have about sharing the roads with the new Nissan qashqui is the lights are really dazzling for oncoming traffic. As are the Nissan juke's.

I bought a new 1.5 dCi Qashqai in September 15 and I regret that I did. Since day 1 the Stop/Start system has failed to work and the dealer is unable to fix it as it requires a software patch from Nissan. There is no indication as to when this software fix will become available - the dealer has been unable to get any date from Nissan. Meanwhile, every time I turn on the ignition I get a "Stop/Start System Fault" display on the dashboard and, of course, I cannot avail of the fuel saving facility that it is designed to provide. I have checked with other Nissan dealers and they all confirm that the Stop/Start problem is very common with the new model Qashqais. My advice is to avoid the Nissan Qashqai as the chances are you too will experience this fault.

I've had one for two years now and my start/stop did go wrong a couple of months ago. In fairness to Cardiff Nissan, they fixed it for me within 2 days. Really like the car but it won't do the claimed mpg. Mixture of motorway and town and I get 46mpg. It is mainly town tho. On a run, I once got 68mpg but that was doing about 60 on the motorway because I didn't want to stop.

John Finn it’s simply a battery issue. The special battery isn’t recharging enough. This is caused by people having everything running. Seat heaters, air con, lights, stereo, demisters and just about every power sapping gadget. You will only get a stop/start system fault if the battery is not holding enough charge. It’s a simple fix and common to most stop start cars - get a new battery and stop moaning like a tart !!! 😜👍

You are wrong about the space in the rear seat, it's a place for tiny adults or children. Leg room is terrible. But ofc it looks spacious when you slide the front seats forward.
And as for the wind noise, it's there from 90ish km/h and faster. Other than that, the QQ is a very nice compact SUV/Crossover.

Björn Sennbrink I agree, one of the most cramped rear seats I have sat in, for the size of car.

If you look at the "excellent" reviews this cars get, you will for sure forget about it. This is me who wanted to buy one, but I gave up as a result of the fantastic reviews. It is a pity... they used to be good cars.

Quiet- I really have to disagree, I have owned the new Qashqai for one year now, and it's the 1.5 diesel engine you comment on. It is the most noise producing engine I have ever driven - in five years of motoring. It sounds so agricultural in all revs (both high end and low end) very very clattery around town, sounding like an old bus! And the wind-whistle is horrendous. I agree it has a very classy interior, loads of space, very practical, feels safe on the road and looks amazing. At motorway speeds it's a brilliant cruiser and very economical. But alas I think the hype around this vehicle cannot be met in real world situations. And after a year of ownership (from new showroom delivery) and driven sensibly and well looked after, I feel qualified to share a more balanced view :-) Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic car. But like many others, it's got it's flaws. And the awful engine noise for me was a deal breaker. I'm selling it on after a year and getting something else.

I have the old Nissan...old car is really good and got high speed...nissan only changed the shape.old one is the best

      @steveh3949 7 лет назад +1

In reality Nissan changed a lot more than the shape, redeigned suspension and changed rear suspension, much improved interior and more smart technology. The build quality appears much better on the new model also, new car far superior

perhaps they should check with real owners i have 1.2t version i wish i hadnt bought it. its had following problems.
1.stop/start does nt work (nissan answer i should turn off ac ect when i stop)
2.rust on door frames under rubber.
    3. 5 yes 5 new stereos as bluetooth didnt work i was even told it was by phone.
    4. alarm goes off for no reason.
    5. drinks a litre of oil every 500 miles apparently normal for a turbo petrol engine.
    6. random airbag lights on dashboard.
    7. tyre warning tells me tyre low when its not apparently because i have a different brand of tyres.
apparently my car as no faults according to nissan uk!!!! avoid these cars!!!

Yeah, I certainly avoid. In terms of Japanese cars (Even though a lot of this is Renault...) I go Honda. We have an Accord Tourer, such a fantastic car. I don't see why they even offer a 1.2 in a car of its size. It's no 2 tonne mass of a true SUV, but it isn't exactly a Micra. I reckon they should offer 1.6 +. Their 1.6 DCi is a seller, after all...
