Thanks! Appreciate all the time you guys have put into this feature. Our shows will be better for it. Also appreciate little “beginner tips” peppered in (hit T for a timing line)… they only take a moment. The veterans will blow past it, but it might change a rookie’s life! Chapter listings would be the only small thing that’d make these videos just one notch more helpful. See you in the Zoom Room.
Important Update: The Master View was incorrect in the video. The MH-Dimmer, MH-Shutter, MH-Pan & Tilt should be at the BOTTOM of the list of Moving Head items. This is important to NOT break your prior Moving Head effects. So MH Group then MH-1 thru 8 then MH-Dimmer,Shutter,Pan,Tilt,Gobo etc. In my video I never used those MH1-8 so I didn't realize I had it wrong.
Great video as usual Daryl. I did have someone message me as I was watching this and he sent me a screenshot of his master view and had his layout set up similar to this. I had him change it to Moving head group, each individual mover, Shutter, Dimmer, pan and then tilt and it instantly fixed his issues. That is the order I keep mine in as well.
I didn't put anything on MH1-MH8 in the video, but I think I may have listed it incorrectly. Did you have your MH-xxx AFTER the MH1-8? I think that might be the better way.
