@@nick5422 Actually, lots of people could catch Hines Ward. He was a great NFL WR, but not because he was fast. You definitely can tell it's a movie when Hines Ward is outrunning 11 other players for a kick return TD. Dude literally only had one career kick return attempt, and that one only went for 24 yards, while his lone punt return attempt went for 2 yards. Ward was definitely not a speedy kick returner, especially not with his rather pedestrian 4.55 40 yard dash time. Sure, that's decent speed, but not when many other DBs and WRs are running 4.4 second 40's or faster.
To put it simply: Ward had only average speed and excelled at the WR position due to other parts of his game. These would include his superior route running, his willingness to block, and his VERY reliable hands. Think ULTIMATE possession receiver who has the speed to occasionally break out for a long catch or two, but will never be thought of as someone who "nobody's catching..." though.

“Thats a lovely lovely voice” was a genuine compliment from Tom Hardy. It was completely improvised yet fit banes character so well. It almost gives bane emotion. Showing he is infact human just pure pure evil.

00:06 is where the true genius of Nolan takes shape. Notice how when they cut back between Levitt and Modine that only their dialogue and the boy singing is heard. No other sounds carry on. Where time is almost still. And the true reckoning is about to begin. It’s a truly chilling moment.

Nolan isnt really a big fan of CGI so a lot of movies use as many practical effects as possible
actually even the destruction of the bridges. this was all real. We all need to accept the fact that the whole city is now destroyed. Lets move on
They had nuclear engineers build the actual nuke that was blown up in the ocean. Nolan also had Bale pilot an aircraft across the bay with the nuke attached (the only use of CGI here was changing the aircraft to The Bat). They actually filmed Bruce's last scene in the movie (when Alfred sees him) before the nuke scene during production since they weren't sure whether or not Bale would survive. Nolan's hella dedicated to authenticity.

2:11 to 2:17 will always strike me as the true terrifying thing Bane does in this scene. Imagine being the mayor, thinking you're just off to enjoy a night at the football game. Then suddenly, and without warning, the stadium starts to crumble, and people start to die right before your very eyes. The destruction of your city has just begun, and Bane wanted him to see it before he perished. An existence ended in complete horror was worth more to Bane than killing him blissfully unaware.
That to me will always be the most horrifying thing to me in this moment.

As much as DC is screwing up in cinema, I'm glad they didn't try to shoehorn the rest of DC into Nolan's universe. I really think the Dark Knight trilogy should stand alone as a cinematic masterpiece.

Despite this movie being the worst rated one in the franchise, moments like these make it my favorite. Every time I watch this scene, my hair stands up and goose bumps make up my skin surface. This scene really shows alot. The beautiful voice singing such an important song while breaking the silence is truly amazing, it shows to me that it doesn't take big things to pierce the void. It also shows Bane's respect despite being an antagonist. The Joker was loved because he played like the whole thing was a game in his court. I loved Bane because of how much emotion he shows while also remaining such an unmovable force.
I like how Bane has someone with him just to carry the detonator
