  • In this review, I'll breakdown the some of the similarities, and also the differences between these two packages. They are probably more similar than you think.

    I really like the way you doing your videos. Very calm and informative. Right now I have my attention on Tundra and the up coming Land Cruiser. I think I am going with Tundra Limited TRD Offroad :).

    Well i can confirm my 2023 limited with trd offroad does NOT have the active air damn. I had no idea until you mentioned it here. Lol my limited is pretty loaded like yours. Except the panoramic sunroof. I love the panoramic view monitor too! I use it every day. I can see im centered in a parking spot. I also love how it shows front projection path line for when you're backing up. I love those cast running boards but god they are expensive. Mine came with The predator side steps. I'm not really a fan of them but they serve their purpose for now.

    Are running boards standard on Platinum? I don't see that.

    • @Rodneysnwridesandreviews

      Running boards are optional. A lot of them will come in with the power folding running boards, but not all. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason why some get them and others don’t.

    I have a 22 limited, right above the driver side there are 2 little speakers, do your rattle? They're driving me nuts. Also do you have wind noise?

    • @Rodneysnwridesandreviews
      @Rodneysnwridesandreviews  11 месяцев назад

      No I’ve never experienced the rattle that you’re talking about, or the wind noise that many others have complained about.

    Nice looking wheels, you said they were BF goodrich 34”, Does 34” tires get any rubbing? I’m currently waiting on a 2024 limited trd off road and it comes with a 265/70r18 and seriously thniking to get a 275/70 or 285/70(33”) or even a 285/75r18 (34”) but not sure if they will fit in stock suspensión without rubbing

      I put the Rough Country 1.75” spacers and there isn’t rubbing with the 34’s.

    My 23 limited trd offrd, did not come with air dam, was bought in Dec of 2022..i thought they forgot to install it since its not found under the truck, i crawled under to look all over and even reviewed the specs online but found out later of the news. Dealer wasnt aware either. Its poor communication and documentation from toyota.

      The only thing I can think of, is they purposely left them off of the TRD Off-Road models so that the customer could install tow hooks if they wanted too. Toyota should have pass along that information instead of customers having to figure it out for themselves though. Thanks for the feedback

    I am shopping for a '24 Tundra Llimited well optioned including the TRD-OR and factory installed 3 inch lift kit. However I don't want the panoramic roof. Dealers in Uah and Califormia are telling me Toyota is including the panoramic roof on every Limited being built. Is this true or is it something unique to those regions?

    • @Rodneysnwridesandreviews
      @Rodneysnwridesandreviews  5 месяцев назад

      It could be unique to that region. It’s the opposite here in Oregon, as we don’t see many with the Panoramic moon roof right now. The lift, is what will be hard to find. Since Toyota doesn’t special order any vehicles, it will be a wait and see if they receive an allocation for one with that lift. Our dealership hasn’t received an allocation for one that already has a lift on it.

      @Rodneysnwridesandreviews  5 месяцев назад

      I ran a quick locate, and in a 500 mile radius, there’s only about 15 Tundra Limited’s coming in with the 3”lift kit. Most of them are already pre-sold, but just so you know, none of them have the panoramic moonroof. The accessory code for the lift is LK

    2024 Toyota tundra platinum do you think there may be any additional colors for it And also do you think the 24 will be on the lot by August or September

    • @Rodneysnwridesandreviews
      @Rodneysnwridesandreviews  11 месяцев назад +1

      We just received our first allocation for the 2024 model Tundra’s so I’m sure that they will start hitting the lot in the next couple of months. We haven’t received any information on the 2024 model yet, but I seriously doubt that there will be many changes if any, since the truck was all new in 2022

    Rodney, I need your opinion. Would you rather 2024 Platinum non hybrid no AVS or a Limited TRD Hybrid the Linted is $3400 more.

    • @Rodneysnwridesandreviews
      @Rodneysnwridesandreviews  9 месяцев назад

      I think it would boil down to how you’re going to use it.
      I personally don’t see the benefit of the hybrid unless you’re planning on towing all of the time with it. You’ll get 1-2 MPG better with the hybrid, but you’ll never recoup the extra money that you’ll spend for the hybrid itself.
      If you’re planning on going off-road and like the crawl control and skid plates, then it may be worth it to you.

    • @Rodneysnwridesandreviews
      @Rodneysnwridesandreviews  9 месяцев назад

      @@shortythefrenchie that’s a great question. A lot of people love the look of the platinum vs the Limited, however depending on the region you live in, TRD may have more appeal. Here in Oregon, I would say the TRD would have a little higher resale, and would sell quicker due to the demand.

    Why is Toyota so insistent on the tacky chrome

    • @Rodneysnwridesandreviews
      @Rodneysnwridesandreviews  7 месяцев назад

      I can’t answer that for you. Chevy and GMC have been doing the same thing, so not sure if they were trying to copy them or just trying to stand out from the crowd. For 2024, they have started eliminating the chrome trim on the Limited model when you get the TRD Off-Road package

    • @loki32687

      @@loki32687 I’ve seen one of the new Limited’s with everything color matched and the black trim. It does look good, plus for 2024 you can get the Platinum with the TRD Off-Road package. That also would be a great looking truck.
