Pet Door installation in a sliding screen door

Want a Pet Door installed in your sliding screen door, this video will show you how to do it. I'm using a Namsan medium size dog door here which is a popular doggy door available on Amazon as well as many other sources.

I reccomend using this door for a cat or small dog, no more than 15 lbs. The door is plastic and its attached to the screen cloth to hold it in which is not the strongest. If the dog takes off after a squirrel the door is going to end up in ruff shape!
Before you start make 100% sure where the pet door is going to go. While the patio screen door is still in place make an outline with tape, or mark the location on the rails with a wax pencil. Its very easy to accidently put one of these doors in the top of the screen instead of the bottom.
Use a 1/2 inch piece of MDF or plywood roughly the size of the pet door so you have something to push against when you are assembling the two halves of the door.
