Paxton is such a sweet little critter. Hearing his first wahoo melted my heart. I'm glad to see Poppy making an effort to befriend Paxton, her new brother & family! God bless! P.S. Dad really loves Paxton & has a soft spot for him!
I'm sure he hollered at her off camera in one of those days and she clearly understood to stop doing that to Paxton. This just makes her love and respect the Human more but it like that sometimes with two animals ij the same house, 1 becomes a little jealous and get too rough.
Every time I see Paxton I’m impressed with his progress. I can’t imagine the kind of pain he was in that he chewed his own foot off. Poor little guy. He’s in the right place now. But I do worry about how Poppy’s reacting to him. She was an only child. Now she’s sharing and that must be difficult for her.

They are in loving hands. Life with two kids now. Pax loves the attention. He clearly needed more care than he was receiving. You are the prairie dog parents. What excellent care and devotion to them. They are two very lucky kids. You make it look easy….it’s not. ❤️🙏🌹😍
It was Poppy quickly scurrying away after being reprimanded for me. She is such a precocious little lady 😂😂😂 Way to go Paxton! You’re definitely on your way to a full recovery.
It's so good to see them scampering around together. Paxton has such a sweet gentle personality, which is a miracle after everything he has suffered. Poppy just wants to rough and tumble!! 😂 Looks like she will have to wait for Paxton to get a little stronger. 😊

Whats really cool, is she doesnt seem at all to focus on his disability. A lot of species would do that. Shes just plain old jealous, but doesnt jump him, or try to attack. The jealousy is understandable, lol...thanks you guys, for keeping a positive atmosphere. Creatures pick up on that 😊

Who told you that he chewed his own foot off? Pretty sure they said it was badly infected, and needed to be amputated.
