The Jazztet revisited. Benny Golson, Art Farmer, and I believe, Curtis Fuller etc. Great arrangement of jazz standard. Also Art Blakey's sextet recorded this in the early sixties I think. Keep them coming Joan!!!
Brilliant Guys , I would love to here the full band do "Along came Betty" I think a much better tune with a brilliant Trumpet solo. Also Flamenco Sketches from Kind Of Blue .
Todo bueno pero adoro, la inpavidez y aplicación de Carla Motis.no estoy seguro ,pero Moanim lo escuche por primera vez con Gerry Mulligan .en una pelicula ? Con Susan Hayward ?
Very nice, relaxed and casual. Too bad about the sound, but that happens sometimes. If you want other versions (with the same cast of characters plus more) check out these: big band (2015) ruclips.net/video/MK3Q_rQxa2M/видео.html , another big band version (2016) ruclips.net/video/cI4I_9jJoEM/видео.html , smaller group, bigger audience (2017) ruclips.net/video/qk1TUqjKtP4/видео.html . There is one more version I can't seem to get my hand on right now, but if I find it I'll post again. The best thing is to watch the above three in sequence, and note Andrea's growth and evolution over the years as both a vocalist and trumpet player -- fun to see! P.S. Here is the version I was looking for, where Rita takes the co-lead, but Andrea is equally involved. It's a small combo, form 2016, and slower paced. ruclips.net/video/BIKhOEV_Gx0/видео.html
Los comentarios confirman lo que suponía. Carla es admirada y querida por el público. Siempre en segundo plano, discreta, quizá tímida. Creo que Chamorro tendría que darle más protagonismo, con solos vistosos.
This is the epitome of jazz. Talent laid bare and not a shred of hubris.
Carla in the line-up - so much better to see her at work at the front than in the background, so brilliant keeping it all together and smiling too!
Carla Motis, gigante na guitarra.
Um beijo
Greg
😁😍😘😊❤️❤️Brasil 🇧🇷
Andrea and Rita, the stars of SAJB and Carla, quietly holds it all together!

Great to hear Carla on the guitar!
Whoever was at the mixing console didn't do her a service though...
Excellent et bravo à la jeunesse !!

What great fun performance you offer time and time again. Thank you!
Nice small-group interpretation of this jazz standard

Nicely played, pity the sound is out of sync with the picture for a while around 1.30 .
