There are a lot of covers of this song on RUclips. There are only a few that work and those are the ones that you can tell the singer has gone through something similar in life, at least in regards to thinking the only person that could ever replace someone you lost was finding "someone like" them. The kind of pitiful sad impossibility of that. Been there. I can only guess but I'd say you were singing from experience of the heart and it shows (and sounds). Thankyou.
