This looks a little daunting...Diane says...do this...it will fit...I thought....never! Well it comes together SO beautifully! I want to make them in EVERY piece of fabric and give them away. Diane says...you'll be sewing them up in no time and they go so fast...she's right...clear and informative, just follow the instructions. I LOVE them and am a hooked Oggette!
This is a great pattern. Just made several this weekend. A couple of notes if you choose to use ripstock nylon: 1. Be prepared to change your sewing machine needle often-as soon as you start skipping stitches. 2: she recommends zigzagging the tops and bottoms to finish the seam but says you can use bias tape if you want to get fancy. Because my machine did not like the ripstock, I found it was much easier to use bias tape to finish the seams. (Plus I have a pretty big bias tape stash).
Take a look at my introduction to fabrics for bag making here where I discuss a whole range of options. All working OK Sarah, e-mail me if you still have a problem. You should just be able to click the link in the pattern, or copy andpaste to your browser
You're lucky, your currency is better. Only $10 for you, it's almost $15 for AUD. I hate our currency rate. Everything we do here costs so much. Trying to get anything shipped from America is a nightmare after currency conversion and shipping prices. Anyways, that's probably not interesting to you LOL :)
@@paulasydney What a shame, we assume the currency conversion means it's relatively the same price wherever you are. At least no shipping on a PDF pattern !
@@SpencerOgg Ya, that's true. I get used to it. Don't like it, but get used to it. Also, you do have a video to go along with it so that's a plus :) Love your channel. Will definitely be shopping there !! cheer ;)
@@SpencerOgg Well that's it...i'm done!! LOL I went to your site. It's fabulous and I love your patterns. I love making bags. i bought a few of your patterns. Want more :) I'll be back for more most definitely!! Thank you. Lovely designs :) Can't wait to make my bags. Now I just need to hunt supplies.
Great pods and sooo, so tempting. But none of them is the size I need. I wonder if my skills are sufficient enough for me to make one to measure... hmmmm
Pretty easy to upsize them, just make the gussets and hinge wider. More details of how to do it on my Facebook Board if you wish to join facebook.com/groups/170115107145604/

Excellent thank you.
How do you sew rip stop? Confusing material
I usually use ripstop with a coating on the back, it makes it much easier to sew and handle.
Spencer Ogg do you use a certain needle so it doesn’t snag?
How can i buy this tutorial ? Love it!!!
