if i remember rightly the lap record in 1993 was 1 min 4 sec, three sister lap is 1mile that`s a avarage of 57mph . my best time round there was 1min 7sec on a mz250 race bike . good track you have to keep it flowing , took half a dozen rider`s out one day [ one with a broken shoulder ] wen i lost the front while in the lead at the start of the race at the quick left then quick right
Hi thank you, I just get them on eBay. They are only plastic made and not very strong, but it's better than nothing at all. I have to use them for racing... www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403136776321?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Lkk238rJQWi&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=S6tKjQsWT8K&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Yeah seems fine. I don't really look at it much if I'm honest when riding. You just get used to the sound of the engine. But it's handy for the temperature to keep an eye on it
Yeah I know what you mean, I've had that problem before. It will definitely help with that. I kept getting wrong gear as I couldn't hear anything from engine too
Ha ha yeah it is. It caught me by surprise at first had a right wobble. I think the smaller the bike the more fun it would be on that track. You can barely get out of 3rd gear but it's still a lot of fun for an evening blast 👍
@@SuggyRacing yeah I think I stayed in 2nd from the top of the hill all the way to the start of the straight. be a awesome little track on a crf150 or similar. hopefully ben books some more CB days there next year!
Looks fun .. enjoyed this 👍

Hello, your cb500 is magnificent, I have a question where did you buy the crankcase guards because in France we can't find them.

@@SuggyRacing thank you for this information, I ride a cb500 for the track in leisure
You should be ok then. They do help a little if you crash. It would be better if they were carbon.
How is your dash working out

@@SuggyRacing I was out in mine up knockhill on. Tuesday and with wind. And other bikes was struggling to hear revs from 4th up. May get shift light

@@SuggyRacing glad it’s not just me it’s more 4th up I struggle to hear
that bump at the end of the straight horrible! grippy little track though, enjoyed it on my CB

@@jamiemoore8783 Yeah a CB day would be cool! I think a team endurance race on a real crap bike would be fun too 😃
@@SuggyRacing yeah a c90 endurance be a good laugh!
