The reasoning why the 1970s King Kong remake has no dinosaurs is pretty interesting it's due to the fact that the movie was only made because they found out the original King Kong novelization that was released a year before the original movie. The copyrights for the book were not renewed placing it in the public domain which basically placed King Kong in the public domain but there was one rule do not make a complete remake of the original movie that means no dinosaurs. hope this helps

All the saga goes out of it's way to show Kong is practically incapable of doing any real damage to Godzilla without the Axe that's literally made of a godzilla. None of kongs punches with or without the beast glove ever ropture or injure godzilla. He never bleeds, gets injured. Loses scales or anything that would indicate damage to skin armored skin. All kong can ever do is Daze him. And the mobies go out of their way to show kong could never truly beat godzilla. The suppossed knock out last literally less than 2 seconds on screen. And godzilla immediately fires his atomic breath at kong afterwards. Even if we say he was knocked out. It was clearly for so little time they didn't even bother to show or mention it. Kong needed several repeated hits in a row with hollow earth powered concussive blast hits with a glove literally made out of mecha godzilla. And as previously stated Godzilla shows no damage or even struggle and gets up immediately. So all that did was piss him off. Not to mention realistically. It's much easier to knock someone out than you think. All you really need is an impact hard enough that causes the brain to bounce back into the skull to give a concussion. Even just traveling in a fast car and coming to a sudden stop could do this. You don't need to be physically or externally injured to be knocked out. Personally Kong is probably more aeound the Country levels of power physically. With likely Continental to multi continental With beast glove and axe.

As far as my favorite Kong movie I would have to go with the 75 or Godzilla versus King Kong the OG version. The only reason I got to go with the 75 it was the first King Kong movie I actually got to see in a movie theater. Don't get me wrong I love the other ones but it just has a place in my heart because I got to actually see it in a theater as a kid. I did see Peter Jackson's version in the movie theater but to me it was visually great but it was just missing something. And I thought them retelling the original story with mother and technology they should have done a little bit different there something different because we've already had a previous remake where they did pretty much the same thing.

Awesome video, though one thing that stood out to me when scaling 05 Kong. When talking about the V-Rex that fucked up Kong's jaw in the past you refer to it as healthy and not inbred. But the inbreeding of V-Rexes on the island was caused by the collapsing of the island's geology causing less space and limiting population numbers, which had been going on long before the 05 movie occurs. In addition to that its written that the inbreeding had been occurring for a substantial amount of time before Kong was around. Therefore its most likely that the Rex that injured Kong was also probably inbred. It doesn't change the ranking or anything but ya know, thought it'd be neat to mention.

The reasoning why the 1970s King Kong remake has no dinosaurs is pretty interesting it's due to the fact that the movie was only made because they found out the original King Kong novelization that was released a year before the original movie. The copyrights for the book were not renewed placing it in the public domain which basically placed King Kong in the public domain but there was one rule do not make a complete remake of the original movie that means no dinosaurs. hope this helps

I think the point is that light speed is so absurdly fast, that yes, if you reacted to something going light speed then you are comparable to it. Keep in mind that light speed is millions of times faster than MPH, so using both as a comparison doesn’t equate at all
He's not even saying that Kong moves at that speed, judt that he can perceive, react, and fight at that speed

My favorite version of kong and my favorite kong film (just my favorite film in general) is the 1933 king kong. I like how he's big, but not towering above skull island or new york. I think that makes the original kong different from many other monsters in film at that time and now, witch i like.

All the saga goes out of it's way to show Kong is practically incapable of doing any real damage to Godzilla without the Axe that's literally made of a godzilla.
None of kongs punches with or without the beast glove ever ropture or injure godzilla. He never bleeds, gets injured. Loses scales or anything that would indicate damage to skin armored skin.
All kong can ever do is Daze him. And the mobies go out of their way to show kong could never truly beat godzilla.
The suppossed knock out last literally less than 2 seconds on screen. And godzilla immediately fires his atomic breath at kong afterwards.
Even if we say he was knocked out. It was clearly for so little time they didn't even bother to show or mention it.
Kong needed several repeated hits in a row with hollow earth powered concussive blast hits with a glove literally made out of mecha godzilla.
And as previously stated Godzilla shows no damage or even struggle and gets up immediately. So all that did was piss him off.
Not to mention realistically. It's much easier to knock someone out than you think. All you really need is an impact hard enough that causes the brain to bounce back into the skull to give a concussion.
Even just traveling in a fast car and coming to a sudden stop could do this. You don't need to be physically or externally injured to be knocked out.
Personally Kong is probably more aeound the Country levels of power physically. With likely Continental to multi continental With beast glove and axe.

Kong for sure scales to Godzilla as the Hong Kong fight lasted 12 hours in canon. Heavily weakening Godzilla clearly shown when he fought mecha Godzilla. Saying Kong is country is fucking wild.
He still scales to him, even without the glove he shouldn't downscale that bad, at most like another tier, but that's still large planet level, which is consistent as he fights Mechagodilla easily, but even then Mechagodzilla also uses Hollow Earth energy do Kongs dwarf star scaling is still there
To be fair even if the v rexs were weaker than a healthy one it’s still a better feat that he took on 3 of them while protecting the girl

As far as my favorite Kong movie I would have to go with the 75 or Godzilla versus King Kong the OG version. The only reason I got to go with the 75 it was the first King Kong movie I actually got to see in a movie theater. Don't get me wrong I love the other ones but it just has a place in my heart because I got to actually see it in a theater as a kid. I did see Peter Jackson's version in the movie theater but to me it was visually great but it was just missing something. And I thought them retelling the original story with mother and technology they should have done a little bit different there something different because we've already had a previous remake where they did pretty much the same thing.

I say this as a Godzilla fan: I wish the 62 movie made Kong's victory more explicit. It's clearly what the narrative implies. The ambiguity caused a lot of schoolyard debates for me.
For me skull island really has to be the best Kong movie because of its effects, lore and how it actually started to give Kong a good following that wasn’t just “big monkey” and also where’s that hanna barbera Godzilla scaling at?

Awesome video, though one thing that stood out to me when scaling 05 Kong. When talking about the V-Rex that fucked up Kong's jaw in the past you refer to it as healthy and not inbred. But the inbreeding of V-Rexes on the island was caused by the collapsing of the island's geology causing less space and limiting population numbers, which had been going on long before the 05 movie occurs. In addition to that its written that the inbreeding had been occurring for a substantial amount of time before Kong was around. Therefore its most likely that the Rex that injured Kong was also probably inbred. It doesn't change the ranking or anything but ya know, thought it'd be neat to mention.
