I looked this up when a friend and I were chatting about old tunes and she asked "what was that one that reduced me to tears that time?" I knew it was Steve something, and began with a R! Luckily I've just dug out some old practice mixes on MiniDisc - and this was listed in one. Had pretty much the same hair-raising effect on us both!

aha fair play that's local knowledge for you i had been to cream obviously it was famous but it was a bit big to get the real atmoshere of something more underground and smaller. My local night was naughty but nice @the crystal rooms that was real clubbers. The more underground the better.

As many have said one of the very best tunes and remixes there's been - up there in my top few of all time and since the early 1990s I must have heard literally thousands - maybe even tens of thousands (?) of trance tunes ( well 32 years is a long time!).
This track and all of its reworks aswell as signums remix of gamemaster and Electrique Boutique - Revelation (Ferry Corsten Remix) changed my life 20 odd years ago and they still F****** bang Timeless.
