I mean, if you really think about it. Danny lost Jorah, two of her dragons, Barriston, her brother Viserys, Missandei AND Jon as a lover RIGHT before hitting Kings landing. People tend to forget Danny is a teenager, she's only like 15 or 16 years old... then you have to look at her losses before even that and her life. Viserys basically let people use her as a fucktoy to get what he wanted for years when she was even younger than that. Then got sold to a Khal, who she fell in love with, or thought she did. Than he died along with her brother. Then she got 3 dragons...so power took over her brain for a while. Thankfully Jorah and a while after, Brariston were there to guide her. Yet, no matter how many times they told her that her father was a mad man, and burned people alive for kicks, she still talked about him as if he was a good man and didn't deserve to get Usurped off the thrown. Aside from the stuff in s8 which is mainly the top portion, it was still a slow recipe for disaster. Danny was just too young and too unstable of a childhood to have that much power and desire to rule to NOT have issues later on leading her to an ending like what happened, only in a later period of time of course.

It all comes down to Tyrion being her hand. Had he not been her hand, she would've taken the 7 Kingdoms without storming Casterly Rock (which was only to benefit Tyrion) she would never have met Jon, she wouldn't have lost Viserion rescuing Jon from beyond the wall meaning the dead wouldn't have breached the wall. She would've taken the 7 Kingdom's with Ser Jorah Mormont as her hand and with Daario Naharis by her side. It all comes down to Tyrion and what a terrible hand he was.

All these edits that the fans are uploading make it seem like D&D actually did a great job with her "breaking bad", while they didn't, so thank god internet exists.
I've seen a lot of GoT edits and while most were decent, none were as good as this. There wasn't a part of this edit that i didn't enjoy or thought could be done better. The layering of dialogue with chosen images and music was outstanding. I got chills watching this, well done!
I find myself coming back to this video every once in a while, because it just captures Daenerys so well and perfectly shows why I fell in love with her character. She deserved better.
Danny had more difficult journey than John had with no love as such. Nature gave her three dragons and some beautiful people like Ser Jhora and Misandey. North did not recognize her potential and love to protect them. She could have taken 7 kingdoms easily without John and his hand Tyrion but still she believed on them but at the end she got no recognition from north and she lost two beautiful people in her life as Ser Johra and Missandey along with two of her Dragon as well. Burning the city was very must suited as per her mental status. She is, was and will be the real Queen.
Best edit I've seen so far. The chosen scenes and music are awesome! I loved Daenerys from season one & that was not the ending she deserved. If she would have stayed in Mereen, she could have lived a long & happy life 💔

The writers were offered some Star Wars show, that’s why they wrapped up GoT so quickly even though HBO offered them future seasons; so unfortunately, yes, they have found further work which will probably be another big profitable hit for them. Honestly, when she was on top of her dragon, right before it plunged on the city to destroy it, she should have said "burn them all" in her language...that would have been freaking amazing. Missed opportunity.

I think Dany just never realized how bad of a reputation her family had and that she never realized she needed to redeem that name before becoming queen. All these edits that the fans are uploading make it seem like D&D actually did a great job with her "breaking bad", while they didn't, so thank god internet exists.
I've seen a lot of GoT edits and while most were decent, none were as good as this. There wasn't a part of this edit that i didn't enjoy or thought could be done better. The layering of dialogue with chosen images and music was outstanding. I got chills watching this, well done!

I find myself coming back to this video every once in a while, because it just captures Daenerys so well and perfectly shows why I fell in love with her character. She deserved better.
Danny had more difficult journey than John had with no love as such. Nature gave her three dragons and some beautiful people like Ser Jhora and Misandey. North did not recognize her potential and love to protect them. She could have taken 7 kingdoms easily without John and his hand Tyrion but still she believed on them but at the end she got no recognition from north and she lost two beautiful people in her life as Ser Johra and Missandey along with two of her Dragon as well. Burning the city was very must suited as per her mental status. She is, was and will be the real Queen.
Best edit I've seen so far. The chosen scenes and music are awesome! I loved Daenerys from season one & that was not the ending she deserved. If she would have stayed in Mereen, she could have lived a long & happy life 💔

I haven't watched the show but I have seen a lot of scenes and Daenerys is by far my favorite character❤ in this video we can see her full personallity: the sadness, the fear, the boldness, the compassion, the anger and the madness! She was pushed too far by all of those people who betrayed her, no wonder she's going mad😣

Daenerys never lied about who she was or how she behaved around others, she did not betray her allies and she sacrificed so much to help in a war (the long night) she could have refused, she and her army could have stayed in dragonstone safely and waited for everything to pass. Cersei was the true villain of westeros
She would have been happier staying in Essos and uniting a new kingdom... After all, she only conquered Westeros because she believed that it was her duty and family's will as a targaryen. When Daenerys spoke of "home", she meant the house in Essos in which she and Viserys stayed for a few years before they had to flee.
She had every right to that throne I'm only disappointed that she couldn't see Cersei's death herself

The writers were offered some Star Wars show, that’s why they wrapped up GoT so quickly even though HBO offered them future seasons; so unfortunately, yes, they have found further work which will probably be another big profitable hit for them. Honestly, when she was on top of her dragon, right before it plunged on the city to destroy it, she should have said "burn them all" in her language...that would have been freaking amazing. Missed opportunity.

For serious though, Great job with editing, bravo! But ye what ppl need to understand that Dany was complex character who didnt go mad....just falsely believed what she ended up doing was just and right....the show writers should have really given this final plotline/decision to burn King's Landing more time to develope.....now for many it seemed too sudden of a move which I can understand, things happened just too fast in S8 cause there were only 6 episodes, thats the biggest mistake D&D made.

I think Dany just never realized how bad of a reputation her family had and that she never realized she needed to redeem that name before becoming queen. Across the sea, she is the breaker of chains, but in Westeros, she's just the Mad King's daughter, and she never gave Westero any other reason to believe otherwise.
