Nice work! One piece of advice for off season: work on no hand celebrations. Start on the trainer until you feel comfy then move to grass and eventually you'll be doing it in races. 😂 jk jk

Did my first race a couple of months ago thanks to watching this channel 76th out of 127 over 110km haha but loved it. It was the Tour de Brisbane in Australia
Loved that video!! Have avoided that race because it is so hard to move up but saw that opportune spot to move up. Won’t mention but thanks for the tip!! Hoping for a 55 123 race there in the future for the old guys.
This you won with specialized Venge PRO? I'm interested on this bike, how does it compared to your current race bike? Can climb, hold on the speed? And not forget I'm not a strong rider but want to keep up with the fast one. Thanks.
How are you guys doing over 34 mph on a flat Road and over 42 on a flat Road on the last sprint of the race because I've done 34-35 mph on a flat Road in a sprint on my road bike but it's a Giant Contend 3 and it weighs 23.6 lbs does weight really matter that much like if my bike was between 14 and 16 lbs will I be going way faster?? I'm also 180lbs of full muscle but if I was lighter will I be faster! Or is it just the bike itself because I put a 58t chainring on the front and it has 11t-34t cassettes on the back and I'm putting a 47t chainring on the front soon so any Advice on what I should do if I wanna go way faster like should I save up and get a lightweight 15lb road bike or should I loose weight myself??
He was using 26mm specialized turbo cotton tires. Can’t say anything about pressure, but I think the wheels that come on the tarmac he’s riding are clincher only, so he might’ve been able to run a higher tire pressure. And lastly, cleat position will vary between riders and their build, so there’s no one position for all sprinters. A bike fit will be the best way to get your perfect cleat position on the bike
I can’t really answer that for him, but since I think the wheels they are using are clincher only (I think, can’t confirm) ideally they would use that to their advantage and run a higher PSI, so somewhere between 80-95 I’d say as my best guess
Garmin Virb is free and does pretty much this, you have to download your files and manually upload if not using a Garmin but it's easily one of the best ones. I think Jeff has a video of what he specifically uses but Garmin Virb is very easy for a beginner.
Genui e question - how the F do you get numbers like that? 😂 I'm a pretty strong club rider with a good power to weight, but as soon as we're above FTP I start to suffer.
Nice! But am I the only one being annoyed by the fact that the thumbnail or often the first few seconds of the video spoil the end in many videos? I understand that alot happens during the race, just wanted to share my view, no hate!
His older videos were definitely longer and went more in depth about strategy and what he was thinking. Not as dynamic and lively in terms of the commentary but still great videos nonetheless.
"Let's not spoil it"
@1:49 "Now I see how you won"
Yes haha i heard that to 😂
exactlyyyy
The secret was bound to come out sooner or later lol
and he couldnt edit that out O_o
definitely made the rest less interesting to me and just skipped it.
Sam’s sock game is on point! Congrats Jeff! Ask Cory where he orders his state champ jerseys from. 😂
He orders it from Rapha, where do you order yours 😂🥱

You know it's a good race/video when your heart's thumping just watching the last 1000 m. Congratulations, Jeff! Another W for Mike's bikes.
Do you obey traffic laws? How about your family? Max Vis?
thats what i always feel watching jeff vids
Matt is such a good sport and Jeff, you're a gracious winner. It's nice to see that! Well done, you absolute beast.
Nice work! One piece of advice for off season: work on no hand celebrations. Start on the trainer until you feel comfy then move to grass and eventually you'll be doing it in races. 😂 jk jk
at the end of every successful workout do a celebration so you’re ready to celebrate after your races

Congratulations Jeff and Team Mikes Bikes!! Lovely to see the friendship with you and Matt too. Inspiring and encouraging! 🖤💪🏻👏🏻
Awesome work, would love to see a side by side analysis of your power data with his., throughout the race and the final sprint etc!
i won this race in 1974. looks like the same course.
Love watching the 2 of you guys race each other always makes for a good one
Bike racing is a simple game. A few dozen men ride in a circuit for 45 minutes and at the end, Jeff always wins.
The joint commentary made this so hype.
From one Jeff to another Jeff, it's always a pleasure to watch you dominate
i burn calories by watching jeff's videos
Isn't it awesome that the guy filming and commentating on strategy is also the guy winning? Lol. Congrats Jeff!!! Great one as always
That last lap played out so well, made the right moves at the right time in a congested field
I really like the frenemies videos, keep them up.
"we wont spoil it for them" *pretends to not have seen thumbnail*
Congratulations on the win Jeff, great commentary as usual.
Congratulations on the result. Great video as always, these breakdowns help me so much. Cheers!
Gotta love Santa Cruz. Glad to see the same course is still being used 35 yrs later…
Matt the legend!!
Congrats Jeff! That was a solid race and those inside lines were on point.
This is why we subscribe and watch every vid upload! Woot!
He spoiled it at 1:48
And also the literal thumbnail you clicked on

That course looked super fun!! Nice work broski.
Greetings and congratulations from Germany!
Congrats! Looking forward to your new Jersey.
What an insane lead after that sprint. Killer
Like you say all the time, sprint for the last corner !! LOL
Nice work Jeff! I happen to see you midrace as I was driving by. Wish I had time to watch on the sideline.
Congrats...well done and well deserved. 🏁
Congratulation! Can we see the Special jersey you will wear?
Solid win to cap an awesome season! That is such a fun.. fun course!
Congrats man! Super impressive.
"Lets not give it away" 5 seconds later "now i see how you won it"
lololololol
Congrats man. Hyped for the upcoming races!
You guys rolled like the main character. 3 leadout guys!? Congrats mate
Congrats Jeff
Congrats, wish I could have been there too
Congrats!
1300+ for 7 seconds with ~19 sec 1000+ watts.. just amazing
Congrats!!!
Congrats champ
Great win
Great watching your videos. Don't race anymore bit love your videos, waiting for you to take down Legion of LA .
He said let me take the inside💪🏼
Jeff, is it such a big difference to be on the green s-works compared to the standard tarmac of your team mates?
Geez what a crazy sprint!! Awesome brother and congrats on the "W" !!

Racing looks like so much fun, but I don't think I'll ever to be able to pump out 1000 Watts! Great finish!

Great footage. Observation wise: is it a prerequisite to ride a Specialized to enter these races? 🧐
awesome sprint
1:40 what happens when someone cuts you off at that corner though?
Good bike handling Jeff.
Classic race course.
Jeff I see your team bike has a “stop riding” issue from specialized. Talk to your shop.
Watching from Philippines
that leadout was ace
If you win both SoCal and NorCal district championship. Then you should be able to call yourself state champion 😁😉💪
Who's the unnamed district champ who call himself the state champion?
One of the legion riders from what I’ve gathered
Super close one at 8:32 in the rear cam
Congrats
Great race
Is your sl7 squishy
Lol “don’t spoil who won”
2 min in “oh so that’s why you won I guess”

to sum it up for me: you are now the 2021 NorCal district road race and criterium champion?
Hey Chris, what pressures do you run on your Turbo Cottons?

The latex tubes saved you. They're more resistant to pinch flats than butyl tubes
What the software/app you use that shows your stats on the video screen and where can I purchase it?
