I also really liked the customization. And even the combat was really epic if it was't for the fucking snipers everywhere. They should make a sequel to it during the napoleonic wars.

imagine working your ass off for probably years to create the coolest parkour animation system you possible can just for it to get abandoned after only 2 year, even though it's one of the most critically acclaimed features of those 2 games.
Yeah, the execution could've been slightly better in some areas but a game like Assassin's Creed Unity is too inconsistent for me to try and get everything perfectly, like that bit when he side hops from a triangle roof to the left side of it, he slid illogically up the roof for no reason almost every time
@@Wbubbles3998 You know why bro it's because Unity game engine consider to systematically start an animation before finishing the one Arno is already doing. Other AC game doesn't have (or very few) animations movement that can possibly interfere with another one, since parkour movements are quicker and more simple. Maybe you already knew but I just wanted to explain. Sorry if it's not clear I'm french so I don't write english very well.

That's because it's meant to be more cinematic and simple. Ac 1 up until Revelations gave you the most practical moveset, with Revelations being the best, but it wasn't as flashy and it required more skill to be as efective
Ahhhh, Assassins Creed when Assassins Creed was about Assassins & Templars. Those were the days. This was actually the last proper Assassins Creed game thinking about it.
This is a great blend of the parkour in the earlier games and the parkour in like Odyssey. In the first few it was slow and stiff, in Odyssey it's faster but you move more like Spiderman instead of a normal guy who's really good at Parkour. Though the Spiderman like climbing in Odyssey works as a time saver. Can't tell you how much time I saved being able to survive long falls and easily climbing nearly everything in the big open world.
if they retained the controlability of the Ezio trilogy with the animation quality of this game we'd be @ perfection. like yeah, to a degree you can "clean up" your inputs to make Unity more fluid, but you're still ultimately fighting against a system that's primary goal is automation and visual fidelity over fine control and precision.
ive just realised i always play this game with ingame music or watching youtube, but if the sounds are like this i need to turn it down (im currently replaying the campaign and i swear all i hear is screaming frenchpeople)
They removed all features that made assassin's creed assassin's creed now thats why you cannot even complete new titles once but can replay older ones.
Assassin's creed Unity is the best assassin's creed experience ever and i don't think anything will come close for a long time... maybe they somehow do it with the next Ac game but i doubt it
Guys I found out how to side eject arno must have his legs pushed against a wall and his hand hanging from a ledge then just hold high profile and your stick to whichever direction you have a ledge (left or right) also you need to leave high profile once you started climbing from the ground then do whatever I said otherwise it won't work
I can't believe we only got one game with this parkour system and don't even mention syndicate the buildings were way too far apart and it was watered down.
@@jonjonboi3701 No, it barely hits a stable 20fps and there's atrocious input lag and pop in. I play on Ps5 and it helps the framerate hit a stable 30 for the most part but doesn't fix the input lag

its the animation and feel when moving that makes it stand out. unity’s world was fun to move around in, but fell flat in other core areas that would’ve made it a classic

Never played Unity. Is it good? I only played AC 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, AC 3 and I’m currently doing Odyssey! Just got back from playing it since December 2019! I had Black Flag on PS3 but I wasn’t into Pirates.
If you don't mind bugs occasionally, yes it is good. You should really try black flag and rogue it has pretty much the same mechanic but different stories lol

I don't think people look back at launch day fondly, I think they can look back at the state of the game that Ubisoft left it at and appreciate it for what it is and what it was meant to be. Nobody looks fondly on launch Unity

I don’t think anyone is going to look back fondly on this past year of the disastrous state of the game it’s still in to this day. Cyberpunk’s launch was unprecedented because it literally forced Sony to take it off their store and offer refunds, something Sony never does because of their god awful digital refund policy, which in itself is an accomplishment
Syndicate perfected this parkour style better but it still was disappointing because the buildings were scattered a lot and the hook thingy allowed to climb things instantly.
