I was a film extra in this film. The scene where the Nazis are burning the books in Berlin, the books were British telecom phone books. They filmed that scene about eight times and used a fire engine to kill the fire each time. I was nearby when they filmed the scene where Indiana grabs Elsa Schneider by the throat. They used a stand-in for Harrison, to setup the cameras for the shoot. I was just seventeen years old at the time. Great memories.
0:52 The pigeon part is hilarious!
He's showing the storyboards/explaining them to the horse. Oh my heart. And the hat!!!
So the story I've been hearing is that that horse, Hurricane, was a total badass according to Harrison, fearless and got right up to the tank. And Hurricane even had a part in the Young Indy Chronicles.
Before Indy III, Hurricane was Rambo's horse in Rambo III.
There are long lines of stunt horses and animals trained for film work. Can you even IMAGINE the ones used for the stunt riding in 'Mask of Zorro"? Banderas' stunt doubles were PHENOMENAL.
Props to majestic, wonderful horses out there. They're highly intelligent, very loving, and definitely have their own personalities. 💪😎✌️
5:16 Did Harrison really just staple gunned his hat to his head?! I saw this movie again yesterday and I LOVED IT more than ever!
Classic clip. I used to tease my friends with empty staple guns like that. 😂🤣😂 My ex-gf (20+ years ago) hated it, lol.
I love in a recent interview with him that he states he still has the staple scars on his head, over thirty years later he keeps the joke alive.
I suddenly remembered my Charlemagne
Let my armies be the rocks, and the trees…
and the birds in the sky
@@tyndrum3331and then indy gives him the stare and the music kicks in. One of the best parts of the entire movie series
Let my armiesh be the rocksh and the treesh and the birdsh in the shky, surely?
Can't wait for indiana jones 12 !!
young harrison is badass!!
I wish I had dial of desnity to go back and tell them to stop making indiana movies after this
Me too my friend, me too.
Some of this footage appeared in a 1989 network TV special called something like "Inside the Summer Movies." Mark Harmon hosted it; there were segments on the making of Indy III, Batman, Lethal Weapon 2, and The Abyss.
This is where the new ones screwed up. Keep the action practical and replace the face with CGI when needed. The fake look takes you out and the indestructible people.
The tank battle is so freaking good. It looks so real. Even when Henri juat blow up the truck, it is amazing

A video about one of the older Indiana Jones movies uploaded on a popular channel, let me guess, this comment section is going to be filled to the brim with people complaining about the new movie.
Brim.. I get it.. Brim of the Fedora🤣🤣🤣
Well, that's just how good the old ones were. :)
What is it about your generation that fail to understand ‘shit is shit’ specially when you can’t create your own stories and need to rehash old ones and insert silly comments about your hang ups about todays social norms in an old movie.
For me it's RAIDERS THE LAST CRUSADES
Cows are untrainable. Usually we use cats in a bunch.
From this to the diarrhea of disentry
The pain is real 😅
The new movie is pretty good. Not as good as the original but a fun movie that is better than most if the stuff we get today
How original. The hate is getting old. Life is fun. Engage in things you enjoy and avoid the he stuff you don't
Of course this comment was going to be made, how predictable the haters are.
I can’t stand last crusade. They ran out of ideas, nazis again, crap action, beginning of wokery, only saving grace was the father and son scenes
