I feel like this game will last till they have esport sponsorship. With development this slow it just can't compete with main titles.
at this point i dont think i will be coming off AC till AC EVO. the only other sims with half decent VR support have inferior handling. AC with lfm is filling my sim racing needs for now.
wpuld have liked to give acc another shot but vr performance is horrible and i still prefer the AC handling over ACC any way
My problem trying to log on was I could not see on the screen wether I had caps lock on or not , silly me. Sorted that and been on but there's no practice off line available as yet, can you imagine the carnage of people jumping straight into multiplayer without at least getting competent with driving in this Sim, I have left them feedback with that in mind as it will stop me using this Sim. I tried a bit and to be quite frank it was a huge disappointment. I felt that you cannot feel the weight shifting (front / back) and (not sure how to explain this but the cars feel like a solid block / brick while turning left and right. (you cannot feel the shifting of the forces) whereas something like ACC you can actually see and feel the chassis / roll cage shifting and moving and reacting to the environment. I guess the long story short is that there doesn’t seem to be any form of suspension modeling especially considering this is a sim racing title.
But I have two questions if anybody knows:
Is there basic telemetry (simHUB) for wheels with screens?
Can you race offline with ai? I didn’t see any option for that
Overall, my biggest gripe was that I felt the game moved very slow, there’s no sense of speed at all. It just feels very boring, sterile and uninspiring when driving around. The best way to put this is the cars seem to feel disconnected and react totally independantly from the tracks themselves. This is just my own option but I absolutely hate racing alone on a track and need ai or real players to race with. That’s very important because only then can you truly see how a game truly performs both offline and online.
On the bright side I do like orchard street though, tracks like these are really cool. Wasn’t sure about spa as it looked somewhat different in terms of how the track was modeled (the elevation heights)

I think 6 minl. qualy with no restart or pits is realistic. If you need to get there it takes you like 2 minutes + new lap and there is not much time to make one qualy lap :D

Played it, watched it... I'll be honest it just sucks, only redeeming quality is track design.
I don´t know why it worked for me without issue. I wen to Rennsport page and payed for it. Than I had to reboot the game and everything was there. but I bought the diamond one :D.
I often roast AMS2 for its janky physics (although I do love AMS2 despite them), but watching this makes me realize that it can in fact be much worse, and it can also be much worse while having none of the content. Rennsport is such a joke

Yes the game is still in beta BUT...
The progress has been soo slow. There's been more content added (which is useless at the level they are now, some close to unplayable) but the basics of the game are still mediocre or bad. Physics, sound, FFB (it's not bad tho), UE engine performance vs image quality, no AI, no proper triple support, no VR, etc the list goes on.
I wish developers prioritise better in the basic and more important aspects of the game before any new content. Wouldn't mind paying but at this point how the game is in and how slow the progress have been I don't have enough trust it'll get good enough to be worthy the competition.
Is there only Fuckenheim in this game? 💀

I feel like you were too polite with the game.
The cars feel awful, the force feedback is extremely numb on centre and it feels extremely odd off center too. The Audi had this weird lift off oversteer that couldnt be corrected, so it was basically not possible to coast in a corner ever
The online racing is awful, people can jump the start, and if they bump you out of your grid slot, YOU get a penalty for a jump start
The mirrors have a range of about 3 meters, feels very disconcerting to see the scenery constantly disappearing (I had all the settings maxed)
The car sounds are awful, and the volume mixing is worse than you showed.
This game will not survive unless DRASTIC changes are made.
The graphics were underwhelming, considering the game is so much newer than ACC, the foliage was very nice, the rest felt very bland

Your reacting too slow to oversteer. It’s like your too used to other sims being to forgiving when oversteering like AC/ACC lol.
ACs oversteer is more realistic then any other sim any way.. i racing its impossible to recover once the oversteer goes an inch to far. grip doesn't disappear when you go pass the limit. its a steep decline but still a decline not a vertical drop
@@awakeandwatching953 All sims have a steep decline none have a sudden loss of grip. It’s just when it comes to race cars AC AMS ACC seem to slide all over the place.
@@Haloplayervfo I racing has an insanely deep drip off when compared to reality. AC is more realistic in this regard as tyiu can fight to regain grip as it rapidly decreased. Cars slide when they lose grip. Ams2 the cars slide to much but AC is generally recognised at having the closest to irl behaviour
@@awakeandwatching953 your biased toward AC it’s not very good apart from some mods/formula cars. AC has more gradual loss of grip than other sims and cars slide easily but the downside is too much understeer and oversteer when rotating the car and not enough rotation either sometimes it’s as if the car is a double decker bus all of a sudden mid corner.
