Greater Chennai Police, Armed Reserve-1, Preparing their own sanitizers, the city police have now roped in Armed Reserve (AR) personnel to make face masks and distribute them to those on duty during the lockdown.
As of now, thirty women personnel from the AR wing have been deployed for the job. The personnel who are trained in tailoring have brought their own machines. An expert gave them a day’s training on stitching masks. Women personnel will do the stitching and men cutting.
