9:40 - Logistics vessels take off with 2 space warpers, one each for the trip there and back. So you don't need to supply space warpers to your vessels at your far out-of-system supply point. Just timestamping this for quick reference because it answered the exact question I had. Let's just hope this is still the case a year and a half later! I hope so because I'm about to build some stuff with this assumption.
@@JDPlays How old is this recording? I tried this on a new planet less than a few hours ago before watching the video and ships would not come to pick up the resources until the station was powered. I need to double check maybe I just didn't have enough in there.
I keep all my stations in a circle in the north pole. Connect them with belts and have the one in the middle deliver the warpers. A second planetary station delivers them to the main primary station from elsewhere on the planet.
And here I JUST went interstellar last night. Spent a while trying to get the warpers set up and started getting ready to ship out warpers to the other star system. Thank god I found this video! Comment for you so more people see it higher up in their feed than I did. I just happened to be scrolling looking for some dyson sphere vids, and this just so happened to be the first one I came across! ... though I did have to scroll quite a ways
This is really helpful. I'm just at the point in my first play-through where I'm about to start making warpers and then distributing and using them. This is a really good tutorial on how to distribute them. I appreciate that! Nicely Done!
Greetings from Tasmania! TY so much for your playthrough and guides. I find I’m watching each video multiple times because everytime the complexity of the game overwhelms my aging brain, I deem it necessary to start a new game to cement the new, increase my efficacy, and satisfaction in the process. I’m in no hurry. I like mucking about like its a sandbox and just relaxing also. Keep up the good work JD, you deserve more subscribers.
You don't need space warpers on the supply end. As long as the ship from the demand location has access to space warpers it will travel to the location. Pick up the product and travel back with no issue.
Im late to the party, but thank you for this. Just did my first warp last night....did not understand that i could simply belt warpers into log tower. You tha man
Best gaming explanation video ever. The bookmarks were great, the content was exactly what I looked for and you spoke clearly at a reasonable pace. Sub'd!
Thanks, exactly what I needed to know, I can currently warp my mech and have the warp upgrade for logistics vessels in the research queue. I've found a nearby system with organic crystal veins and Spiriform Stalagmites and set up a small mining operation and an interstellar logistics tower. Was wondering whether the first vessels to go for a pickup would come back at sub-light speed, and how to handle loading my station with warp cores automatically.
I dont see the warp slot on my interplanetary Ports, but i have warp travel investigated and can warp myself, what is the technology needed for the transport to warp? i dont find anything related on tech tree more than speed of travel
is this different already? my interstellar stations dont have the warp drive slot and i can not get my ships to warp between systems, but they depart if force equip is off
Hahaha today i just added 2 keyboard binds to my mouse for copy pasting recipes as the keybind update didnt let me use the mouse for keyboard buttons, so i had to use the razor software to do ti
im not sure if there was an update but i cant insert my warps manually anymore, or at least it doesnt look the same as it does on your screen i see the local drones, then the logistic drones, then nothing but it wont allow me to put in warp cores on the right of it.
Hi, I landed on your channel just because of the DSP game. Between You and the other 2 channels I subbed to, you make the best video's for this game (although 'best' is mostly based on personal pref's) so I hope you'll keep making some more :) ... Thanks and Cheers..Mate Greetings from the Netherlands
My interplanetary stations no longer have a space for space warpers. ??? They've added a bunch more settings at the bottom though. I can't get my ships to go between systems. It works fine between planets in the same system.
useful video, not quite at that point yet but good to know for when I do get around to it. Currently setting up materials to make purple matrix. After need to go back and do blue/red/yellow as made the setups too small
great videos bro, have been replaying recently. The audio though is very soft. I have to turn of all sound to hear you. Could you up the volume a bit please? Not sure what is causing this?
granted you have enough power, you can air transport space warper from a central interstellar input (IntA) to all other interstellar stations (IntB) on the planet, "quickly" and without consuming one lane. For this however you need to build many simple logistic stations, mostly dedicated to transport space warpers. Suppliers ones (LogA) feeds directly from IntA via belts, demanding ones (LogB) feeds directly into one or more IntB via belts. This way you don't have humongous belts running around the planet. :) Great approach by the way, straight to the point and clear, nice ! Would you happen to be German or Swiss by any chance ?
I am pretty sure if you use 2 interstellar logistics for example. One on main planet , second on the planet you collect resources . You just need to put 10 ships on your interstellar logistic on your main planet also make sure its supplied with warps . Each ship when is leaving always taking 2 warps soo on the planet you colect resources you dont need to put any logistics ships on that station or warpers . Ships will always carry stuff from resource planet to the main planet when put on remote demand on main planet. Easy .

great video. I've been looking for this kind of information for days. one point of criticism: the sound was very quiet. I had to jack the volume and got blown away by the adds.
Sorry mate, it was a super late night recording (after 1am) and i didnt realise it was quite till after it was released and i watched it back in the morning
You answered every question I had, plus a couple I hadn't thought of! Great tutorial video. 😁 I am truly confounded as to why it would have any "dislikes"... 🤔
I think ILS should just automatically send drones/ships to refill warpers if available in the network instead of having to deal with all that other mess.
You talk way too fast, so stressful to listen, I can hear you are having trouble breathing too? Take it slow and enjoy the journey man, doesn’t matter how quick you are if we can’t enjoy the journey 😮
Factorio 2morrow.... then channel update video... then more factorio... least thats the schedule in my head.... oh and new poober series starting soon...

Whenever I open my Interstellar Logistics System's menu, I don't see a place to put space warpers. Did I change a setting or mess it up somehow?
You need to research for the Interstellar Logistics towers to also use warpers, check the tech tree
