@robertp.3351 I’ll say this. I do think CTG tries not to be bias in his approach because I think he treated the trump administration just the same which is how you should be in your reporting. However, he does tend to use blanket statements like “Biden ain’t done nothing for black people” which can be very harmful in messaging. Especially when it’s just not true.

I'm not the biggest fan of Roland, but I agree with his stance and views on black media, and that is exactly why I haven't gone back to corporate America and am building out my businesses and different brands. So while I don't always see eye to eye with him, I applaud him for his efforts and commitment to the black community.
This is by far the most intelligent man in media.. He is now trying to educate an audience who only wants to be ENTERTAINED, which includes the host.

Roland Martin would be a great Professor in the areas of Black Studies, Political Science, and Finance. His ability to take complex subject matters and present the information in a common sense Articulative Methodology in regards to change is Legendary.

Great interview! This Breakfast Club platform reaches millions of people daily. They definitely should create a daily 10min segment of "Roland Speaks!" Where he drops gems of info pertaining to race, religion, politics, money, black culture, and black history. Or call the segment, "Soul Food" where various black intellectuals can contribute pertaining to the aforementioned gems of info. The part where Roland mentioned civics lit my fire. I've been preaching this same sentiment for years. In addition to economics being a required course in high school to graduate, a civics course should also be a requirement. As well as a course on money management and investments.
Growing up on the way to school I remember hearing him everyday on the Tom Joyner morning show.

I would love to help with that! This was a great demonstration of how to create strategic, systematic, and systemic change. These types of conversations need to be coupled with mental health, finances, and consistent collective action. Profit drives movement in systems and structures; unless enough noise is being made by certain groups, the systems and structures keep going forward. I do my best to educate myself and circulate my resources within my community and allies of my community. Great conversation.

We as black ppl need a political action committee like other cultures have . Voting is half of the job, We need to start funding these politicians so they can start fighting for specific needs of Black people.

I am a paramedic. I followed your coverage on Tyre Nichols and the man I believe in Texas tasered in an ambulance.
I bring your conversation to my managers and chiefs about the lack of communication and coordination on these medical calls and what has been gross negligence on those involved in these cases.
We have a DEI Committee and I am a VERY active member. I am also the Diversity Rep for my union.
