Dead Presidents beautifully captured that tough 60s period whereas a lot of movies miss the mark on clothing, hair, cinematic color, etc. It was difficult to watch because there was absolutely NO vengeance for Anthony. I think it’s fine to end movies in that way from time to time because it is a fact of life. We had to sit with a hard truth for him.

His "dear Mama" docuseries is great. I was skeptical too but watching it and this interview changed that thought. Allen Hughes probably kept a lot of resentment from 2pac having him jumped UNTIL he had to do the research for the film. He was 2pac's peer. But now that he's more than twice that age & following 2pac's story since his birth it really gave him perspective. 2pac attacked him when he was 22. That's younger than Jaden Smith is now. That's the age of the actor who plays Tariq in Power: Ghost. Imagine if he really started rolling with people who gave him more street cred from doing the show. Then you give him millions.
I really wish we got to see 2pac at 30...hell he had just turned 25 ...Imagine him at 26...

Allen wants people to watch his Docu-Series! Do you think People would tune in if he dogged PAC out like he has done before!?

@@missgangsmashers737 i think hes just being genuine...that shit was 30 fkn yrs ago, so ppl just let bygones be bygones. Hes showing respect to that man that died VERY young, and is not here to speak for himself. So Allen is respecting the dead, and acknowledging that we ALL lost something really great, when we lost Pac. So far, the series is amazing and that man deserves his flowers for putting together such a masterful piece 🫡

PAC is and will FOREVER be the biggest thing to grace HIP-HOP. An intellectual young black man from a broken home with dreams of Black Unity, the heart of a lion, ultimate talent all while trying to find himself in different facets of the culture. My man was never a punk but was always sensitive enough to care about you. Ridiculous work ethic, hustle, charisma, conviction and character UNMATCHED. Once they shot em in 94, they got em started down the Art Of War path and I wish that never happened, but it did. Love this brother. NY born, Bay Area raised, LA concluded…ALL before 25 years of age. #LONGLIVE2PAC

46:33 great topic. I’ve been saying for years that it’s not even the stories…it’s the camera angles, the sharpness, etc. It’s too manufactured. Even in TV, look at Martin and then The Neighborhood. It’s too much lighting and quick camera jumps. It’s not an accurate portrayal of life. When you’re in a room talking to your friends, life slows down. You look around every 10 seconds or so. These damn shows just bounce every second to 4 or 5 camera views with one-liner “jokes”. It’s terrible.
