Great interview. Always loved the Hughes brothers. Them directing one of the most impactful movies ever (Menace) AT 20 YEARS OLD is one of cinema and storytelling's greatest accomplishments, which really should be talked about more. Much respect--they're definitely inspirations...E
ALRIGHT HERE WE GO, WE’VE GOT THE WHOLE INTERVIEW, WELCOME TO VLADTV!!! This is your first time here, so I wanna start in the very beginning. So tell me about 2Pac…. It is what it is, Allen Hughes, always a pleasure, until next time… PEACE!!!
Great interview, honestly. Vlad keep bringing the guests we never knew we wanted, and Allen dropped some real gems. You can tell they both respected each others craft, Vlad as Hughes being a film maker, and Hughes for Vlad as a hip-hop record keeper.
This was a very good interview. People can criticize all that they want but I really enjoy Vlad's programs. It takes a lot of experience to keep an interview going. There are times when you must ask questions and bring up topics or situations to keep the conversation going. Some people are camera shy or just quiet individuals. In either case, it is up to the host to keep the conversation going. Vlad is very good at this. Some hosts/interviewers are rude and inconsiderate, their only concern is their own agenda. Thankfully, Vlad is not that type. He keeps his interviews on a level that is interesting and honest. Others could really take notes. Keep up the good work Vlad.. 😊
Good interview . A lot of respect for Hugh clearing it like how he did and the respect he has for Pac. You got to understand tupac was young and wild so its hard sometimes to be around . But he matured fast and loved like no other to his people.
Dead Presidents is an underrated classic, American Pimp is an amazing documentary, Menace 2 Society, From Hell… wow! The Hughes Brothers need more credit!
Menace was huge. Complex when thinking about the circumstances of how it was made and when. So much surrounding the story of this film but hey Dead Presidents man, to follow up like that? The soundtrack volume 1 & 2 secured what would become of my old soul. Smh. True storytellers with their own incredible stories. Flowers for the Hughes Bros. I went to see Menace multiple times as a kid. But Dead Presidents man...I wish films were easier to make cause we definitely needed more Hughes Brothers & Larenz Tate. I'd love a story connected to Menace like a follow up with the space of a series to really dive in and explore the future of this film without having to explicitly say they're connected. The Pac doc was beautiful. And Book of Eli one of my favorite Denzel films. Love Gary Oldman's part, had me thinking about his Stansfield role.
Fantastic interview Vlad. At first I couldn't put my finger on it but does anybody see Jim Belushi's face while watching Allen Hughes speak or is it just me?
I really appreciate this interview. Because after watching it I’m definitely going to make it a point to watch Dear Mama. A lot of people were calling me asking me did I watch it and I was like naw. Because of the turmoil between the Hughes Bros and Pac. I didn’t want to watch something I assumed might rub me the wrong way like when John Singleton wanted to put a R-Word scene in All Eyez On Me. I appreciate LT Hutton for debunking that too. But I have a better respect for the Hughes Bros after watching this. I have to circle back and watch the Defiant Ones too. Just keeping it real. Thanks for another interview I didn’t know I needed to watch.
That Dear Mama documentary was incredible. Man, the Hughes Brothers name is on that Arnold Schwarzenegger documentary too. Would love to know which all Hip Hop videos hey produced. If I'm an upcoming filmmaker I'm studying these guys.
Hey vlad idk if you look at the comments but ask Allen Hughes to look into doing a documentary on alabama football bro? Alabama football is a dynasty. I think he could really do a great job and bring a different light to sports.
I always assumed Pac shaved his head rite after did Juice cuz Juice was shot in March 91 and there was a interview he did 91 with Digital Underground he's wearing cap but u can see underneath his hair completely gone then there's the 2Pacaplyse Now album its picture of him in the liner notes he still had his fade and my guess is he had to record the in late 90-early 91 the least so noone knows and besides in 91 Pac couldn't been of Oynx Oynx didn't blow up until late 93 I'm a hip hop head I know 😉
Y’all got to realize anybody who breathed the same air as Tupac life is no longer about themselves. Their new lives is to bless us with Pac stories😁 even Snoop can’t dodge the Tupac questions as much as he would like to put that behind him😆
For that dude to be aware and coherent enough to say FOOK YOU to a cop while you are dying!! That's so hardcore shyt right there man!!!!! When you are hurt or hurting, you are looking for anyone to save your ass!!!!✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿!!!! Solid. MuthaF
9:17 Wasn’t it said in the “Dear Mama” documentary that PAC’s hair wasn’t growing back right after the Oakland PD left scars on his head from the beating?
Salute Vlad and Allen I love the energy between these two especially about the watch because most mfkas would just hate on the low about it but Vlad let him wear it and all two legendary guys love bros!!!
Im glad Allen Hughes said that about Tupac changing into bishop after Juice came out because its true his fans always wanna say hes this super gangster and he wasnt hes an actor.
Vlad I know u got a job to do. Allen is a man. You keep bringing up old stuff with Tupac that man fill some type of way still. Cmon vlad have some respect for the game
Menace was more real to us because it was literally what we was living....American me was a prison film but we knew an odog we knew an awax we knew a Kane we also knew that crack head trying to sell everything..l.a. early 90s was ugly
You can tell Alan wants to be real and just come out and tell people that Tupac was not who he portrayed himself to be , he was just a typical fake thug playing out an image. But Alan is a business man so he's constantly being conscience not to offend the little Tupac idolizers out there
Great interview but you can tell he still have some weird feelings from the Tupac beating…Tupac hit him they jump him then he tries to send kite to Tupac while Tupac in jail asking for a fight in a park??? Lame
The docu series was so powerful. Just finished watching all the episodes... Truly amazing.
Great interview. Always loved the Hughes brothers. Them directing one of the most impactful movies ever (Menace) AT 20 YEARS OLD is one of cinema and storytelling's greatest accomplishments, which really should be talked about more. Much respect--they're definitely inspirations...E

Incredible interview VLAD. …so funny. And true
😅
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Right!!! And you clicked on it..... The hater's pay Vlads bills every month.
Didn't you post this on the other interview
Great interview, honestly. Vlad keep bringing the guests we never knew we wanted, and Allen dropped some real gems. You can tell they both respected each others craft, Vlad as Hughes being a film maker, and Hughes for Vlad as a hip-hop record keeper.
Love y’all unc never met yall in person but I appreciate what y’all do for the culture the movies etc will forever be legendary

Dear Mama was fire! Definitely deserves an Emmy. Can’t wait for Marvins movie!
Marvin?
Round of applause for Allen Hughes 👏👏👏👏👏👏 this guy deserves all the praise!
I became a real admirer of Allan Hughes work when i saw The book of Eli.....
Definitely an underrated 🍿
Great movie, one of my favs
"American Me made me not want to go to prison"
Growing up I always thought Brenda's Got a Baby was shot in NYC I didn't know it was Oakland until I got older lol
Me too,I thought 2pac was a new York rapper, until the all eyes on me era" east coast vs west coast " but he was from both coast
I always thought he was from India.
@@silklion7375 shut up
@@silklion7375 you thought 2Pac was from India? Wtf
These Brothers directed the best adaptation of Jack the Ripper to date. From Hell (2001)
Good interview . A lot of respect for Hugh clearing it like how he did and the respect he has for Pac. You got to understand tupac was young and wild so its hard sometimes to be around . But he matured fast and loved like no other to his people.
The beginning of this interview is pause worthy
Dead Presidents is an underrated classic, American Pimp is an amazing documentary, Menace 2 Society, From Hell… wow! The Hughes Brothers need more credit!
Dead pretty is my favorite movie of all time. Very underrated
Love dead presidents
Dead Presidents was a film masterpiece, insane to think they were like 22-23 when it was made…
Menace was huge. Complex when thinking about the circumstances of how it was made and when. So much surrounding the story of this film but hey Dead Presidents man, to follow up like that? Dead prez is my favorite film of all time
Great interview!!
I remeber that episode of America's Most Wanted with Tyrin he played a crip named Kool Aid 🤣 🤣 🤣
Fantastic interview Vlad. At first I couldn't put my finger on it but does anybody see Jim Belushi's face while watching Allen Hughes speak or is it just me?
I see what you mean.
I really appreciate this interview. Because after watching it I’m definitely going to make it a point to watch Dear Mama. A lot of people were calling me asking me did I watch it and I was like naw. The platinum Rolex part. I always wanted that watch too. 50k it was 35k in 95
Great interview. More film makers please. The 60 minutes comparison is legit.
Damn this is already a classic interview
Great interview Vlad!!!!
The watch moment was epic. 😊 Genuine moment
Dead Presidents is the best movie ever!!! NO CAP
🧢
My favorite movie ever
It’s a classic
The next Tupac documentary they need to do where's all the unreleased music stored let's get all this music released at any means necessary!
A new profound respect for Hughes❤ I just dont like how VLAD takes shots at Pac but he wouldn’t be no where without PAC interviews
I just watched menace 2 society great movie
Solid interview
Hey vlad idk if you look at the comments but ask Allen Hughes to look into doing a documentary on alabama football bro? Alabama football is a dynasty. I think he could really do a great job and bring a different light to sports.
I’ve not seen Dear Mommy. However, I’ve seen the other 3 & Love them.
One of your best interviews Vlad 🙏🏿

Thank for some real facts .Vlad is constantly try to devalue Tupac's creativity and his legacy.
@@derrickgrays3109 bruh no he does not. Vlad is just as much of a pac cum swappa as you
I love you Mr Allen Hughes ❤️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Great interview 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
How did he get so much rare pictures and videos of Tupac like that. The whole documentary is insane, truly a must watch.
Y’all got to realize anybody who breathed the same air as Tupac life is no longer about themselves. Their new lives is to bless us with Pac stories😁 even Snoop can’t dodge the Tupac questions as much as he would like to put that behind him😆
Best interview ever
Good interview 🔥🔥🔥
2pac was such a gangster sucker punching people and taking 10 people with him to beat up 1 person. Thug Life
@jerrylouiswiththethickness6403Pac is legendary but he was in the wrong here. Pac was not infallible, he's a human being like us that made mistakes.
Tyrin..also did the Michael Jordan home video the follow up to Come Fly with Me .. after the Rhythm Nation video
Vlad send the watch to Allen ... Just do it.

You can't tell VLAD anything now that he got Allen Hughes as a guest. lol
Even tho the likes and views were trash
@@PeterStone-hy6ir lol
@@PeterStone-hy6iru measure “likes and views”? 🤦🏿♂️
Got no business making a 2pac movie 💯
9:17 Wasn’t it said in the “Dear Mama” documentary that PAC’s hair wasn’t growing back right after the Oakland PD left scars on his head from the beating?
Didn’t know AJ Johnson passed till right now. RIP
What an amazing doc😭😭😭😭😭. I cried they did PAC moms dirty😤 PAC was would be pleased!!! Thank you 🙏
Salute Vlad and Allen I love the energy between these two especially about the watch because most mfkas would just hate on the low about it but Vlad let him wear it and all two legendary guys love bros!!!
I still missed why they were beefing so hard but let me continue listening!
I knew he was gone say “you know u done fucked up right” 😂
Great interview please interview Quincy Jones 3rd.
Great interview! 👍👏👌
My problem with Vlad interviews is that if anyone had ever met 2pac or biggie, the interview becomes all about that
No sense in even trying to rationalize with 2Pac groupies. You see them in the comments. This man knew him but automatically he lying? 😂
They was🔥🔥🔥🔥RIP 2PAC
Fellow film makers like myself. Vlad a wild boy
Im glad Allen Hughes said that about Tupac changing into bishop after Juice came out because its true his fans always wanna say hes this super gangster and he wasnt hes an actor.
Ok gangsta
Why didn’t he talk more about dead presidents
Allen looks like the kinda guy Vlad would love to be friends with--Its like they match as friends since Vlad wants to be "color verified" so bad
Vlad laughs at there situation but never speaks on the Rick Ross ass whipping
I'm about to watch this interview. But I'm gonna guess 90-95% is about Pac
Vlad I know u got a job to do.
Allen is a man. You keep bringing up old stuff with Tupac that man fill some type of way still. Cmon vlad have some respect for the game
VLAD really wasted this interview. Barely talked about two of his best movies in the 2000s/2010z
Lol you are R-WORDED 😂
Classic Interview...
Gotta give it up for VladTV. I enjoyed this interview just like I do so many others.
Adam we know you behind the lenses lol
Were is Adam these days..😬
N Bushe Wright was in Dead Presidents also Vlad!!
Right 👍 on DJ Glad lol I mean Vlad
Pomona CA stand up they lived off of Kingsley on the Eastside a few streets up from Washington Street
N**** NEVER Tupac been known from the beginning of his career Don’t talk shit about Pac cause he knew his worth and had depth
Menace was more real to us because it was literally what we was living....American me was a prison film but we knew an odog we knew an awax we knew a Kane we also knew that crack head trying to sell everything..l.a. early 90s was ugly
I Got A Great Idea Why Don't They Get A Jealous 2Pac Hatin M'Fer And Have Him Direct A 2Pac Documentary And Let Us Know How It Turns Out.
dudes only one year older than Vlad lol and vlads like I been watch your shit since a teen lmao
Vlad have to chill with the 2Pac shaming
If you only listen to the audio, you’ll think vlad was interviewing Neil Degrass Tyson lol
Be funny if he stepped off with that watch 😂😂
Thank GOD ...Vlad is doing it
Vlad is" OBSESSED " with a dead man almost every person he interviews he wants to talk about Tupac .. .weird
Menace II Society was a great movie, it would have added a lot if Pac was in there...
Get That Man A Platinum Rollie😂🔥
American me was aight
Blood in blood out was sicker
Correction, Che Guevara has the most murals around the world.
I'd argue it's Bob Marley.
They never should have jumped this man, that was weak.
You can tell Alan wants to be real and just come out and tell people that Tupac was not who he portrayed himself to be , he was just a typical fake thug playing out an image. But Alan is a business man so he's constantly being conscience not to offend the little Tupac idolizers out there
Micael j white Teddy Pendergrass maybe
Great interview but you can tell he still have some weird feelings from the Tupac beating…Tupac hit him they jump him then he tries to send kite to Tupac while Tupac in jail asking for a fight in a park??? Lame
Why no one talking about faizon but about Allen lol
i Need this man contact info
What about colors
We got a Snoop film coming? WOW!
Detroit is in the building
I named my son Tyrin after Tyrin Turner. (Not Kane)
Vlad gotta do his homework lol
why didn't vlad ask him about his brother murdering mysticals sister?
Colors opened the door for LA gangbangin
Walk proud & angel town might’ve also
I think if the hughe bros new Tupac was a great artist and actor they should of gave him the roll he wanted
That pact must have not been strong because 2pac didnt wait around for singleton to make another movie
He was suppose to be in higher learning but got let go
