I met Yela BEFORE he became famous while down in Gadsden Alabama building a log house. Really humble & intelligent individual. He has definitely came a long way since then.
This why the people that been listening to him before even shady still love this dude. Always been the same except where he’s learned, improved and mastered.
Forget genres, aint no box you can put Yela in unless its gotta bowtie on it! This man is more than a rapper he is an artist. A true living representation of the word. Love Story is one of the best albums ever made. Slumerican Made!

@@Adam-ui3ot He probably felt the need to be, he's on a press tour promoting his new album. Plenty of artists do interviews they don't care about when they need to promote something
Yelawolf a real ass dude. He seems like a a$$hole but the more I watched these he’s just a real dude that ain’t about any kinda bs. He knows what an interview can do and twist his words and he makes sure that ain’t happening ever again. Been here since pop the trunk premiered on world star what 14 years ago? Just like Kendrick with high power on world star @worldstar use to be the joint. Scroll thru videos everyday. I’ve found some of my favorite artist from them before people knew who they were.
I’ve never met a more down to earth guy then Wolf he is the most humble and honest amazing man he keeps it real and doesn’t ever sugarcoat anything I love this man to death he has stolen my heart for life
ima be completely honest , shady never did shit to market wolf , love story didnt go gold because of shady , it went gold because of motherfuckers like me who traveled around the country doing promo for free and hung 5000 flyers around nashville , yeah the shady cosign was cool but his fanbase has always carried his promo , i have the posts and videos of all the shit we did on the street team, guerilla marketing , flyers in skate shops , smoke shops u name it we were there
I'm pretty sure the song best friend with eminem helped a lot so shady did do something. Radioactive wasn't great n def needed a change so love story definitely was the album that made it all work out - em produced some beats on it too
@ChocolateDon929 I think he addressed it in a way. It wasn't him, if it was said, and he wasn't going to throw anyone under the bus either. I would have been interested to know the conversation that went down around it though.
Really like this whole platform. Vlad always kills it. Yella was really monotone and boring AF. Zero excitement. Love Yella just needs something to push it up a level.
Not to take away anything from Yelawolf or anybody else but bone thugs did a really good country song with mo thugs back in 2000 I believe called ghetto cowboy. There's a video for it and everything they were definitely ahead of the curb

Love Yelawolf ever since I heard 'pop the trunk' and discovered his Bama hip-hop. So versatile and authentic. Awesome talent and praise all the way from slumella here in Adelaide South Oz👏👍
Yelawolf came into the Target that I used to work at and I told him that I was a big fan. He said thank you. Would love to talk to him more. Amazing artist for sure!
How do I get in touch with Yelawolf to get one of his tattoos? I had a very similar thing happen to me with the psych stuff and that resonated with me heavy.
Yelawolf is underrated, I think his flow and style of rap is harder than Marshall. Plus, he's himself and not trying to be someone else. We fks with him in Florida. Yessir!!
I have always wanted an in-depth interview like this with yelawolf, I've seen a few but I feel like they've never totally went through everything. Never thought I would say this, but thank you for that Vlad. And of course Yelawolf much thanks for the interview and all the timeless music you create.🤘
Yelas been my favorite artist for over 10 years now. Dude is so genuine to the core, whether it’s in music or just every day life. I remember listening to that Slumdon Bridge EP on datpiff. Mind you this is like 2014 haha, I was on a field mission for the army at white sands. Barely had a signal but I downloaded a few tapes before I left and that was one of them. Still to this day one of my favorite tapes. One of the most underrated and versatile artists the industry has seen
Yela is literally the meaning of artist. This guy opened up doors people don’t even talk about. Pioneer for transcending genres. The movie scene is whack right now. Give me a movie on Yela’s life and throw in everyone he’s met and hung with along the way including Jelly. Guys from Tennessee and Indiana people don’t know but had some true talent. Give me all that.
This dude doesnt give a shit about wolf, its like hes just letting him fill in the blanks of his fact timeline, to not even dig into the TMR era at all was insane and you can tell yela knows it smfh

Listened to him when still living wrong on the streets in 2016; listened in prison 2018-2020; 6 years sober now, still listening. I love how Eminem and Yelawolf have evolved into sobriety during the same times I did. It helped to hear them talk about it and inspired me to keep going. In case you haven’t heard it, I highly suggest downloading the single ‘Best Friend’, by Em and Yelawolf…the personal growth shown on this record was refreshing during a dark time of life when I was seeking the light, and is my favorite song of his (as much as I love the older albums). I wish I had a fiddle playing in background now during this post… real Yelawolf fans will get the reference 😊❤Thank you or this one, Vlad!
