Hi, I can't comment on these specific bikes, but I hope I can help with some general comments: Type of bike: I have a Fiido D11 which is similar - a great, lightweight bike for the city on paved roads. If the roads are rougher or when you are going on unpaved roads I would choose a different model like Himo Z20 or ADO A20. Manufacturer: Fiido and Himo have a great design. Although ADO impressed me with interesting little details on the bike and their quality - they improved their design recently. As stated in the video I prefer ADO over Himo and also would prefer it over Fiido. Hope that helps a bit.

THREE key questions: 1) Can unwanted intrusive pedal-assist be totally/permanently deactivated? Throttle-only power please! 2) Why is no rear luggage rack included? 3) Why is real range less than hslf the 80km claimed ?! Surely the manufacturers/sellers should be prosecuted for deception and making very exaggerated, false and misleading claims ! If a cake producer claims a pack contains 8 cakes but it only contains 4 cakes the cake producer would be prosecuted and fined for misleading consumers. Paul G
Hi 1) no, but you can choose to only use throttle mode on these models 2) they sell it as accessories, which I like so you don’t pay it in the standard package if not needed 3) range is stated to be in pedal assist, throttle only is less range
The ADO A20 is no longer like that in 2023, it no longer comes with the pre-installed turner throttle. If you order the international version, you will get a thumb throttle sent to you separately. In the international version you also get a bigger motor 350w, which you can unlock. The EU version is 250w, and you can unlock it but the bike does not go faster - the motor is visibly smaller and lighter. I was going to buy it, but not any more, the newer version comes with 'cross your city' logo on it. I'd say avoid it.
@@elProducente very much better or just a little better? You can time a distance on a road that climbs well and it would allow you to really realize which is better

And boom. If it doesnt show you proper speed just set the wheel size to 28 inches or 29inches.the wheel size is i think Hd
This is one of the fake videos as explained in mine. When you change max speed it does nothing. When you change tire size, there is just a higher speed shown. When you measure with GPS it stays the same.
I hardly do any comments but yours makes me laugh so I have to reply it.... anyways, These two bikes are in the same category and target buyer so it is a very good comparison.
Please note that both these bikes are illegal in EU unless registered as a moped . Hence cannot be used on bikeways.Must be used on roads with the moped insurance, driving licence and compliant motorbike crash helmet. These bikes are not pedelec EU compliant. Why? Has twist and go throttle and may be accelerated and maintained in motion without pedal assist. Be warned police across EU countries are now fining users without registration as moped as described. Fines can run in excess of 3000 Euros. Be warned.
It's very different within EU countries. It could be not defined as Pedalec. But in some EU countries a throttle is also allowed and the the e-bike is classified similar compared to an e-scooter, which also has a throttle.
@@elProducente Advice to anybody is check out as a matter of urgency in each EU country. An ebike shop in Valencia confirmed today Pedelec law in Spain. Bottom line if ebike has throttle and can maintain up to 25kph without pedal assist it is a moped-moto and requires registration. The shop and distributor is now dealing with only pedelec compliant product. Much appreciate your comments and hope the chat is useful to ebike users at large.

I've been riding this bike for about a month ruclips.net/user/postUgkxwC0IIeIomGQVeBWg-kKJaToZkLEFIA2W and a half now and I think it's fantastic. It helps me get to work on time every day since I'm able to fit it inside of public transportation rush hour. The price is great too, people are always shocked when they ask me how much I paid for the fold up and I tell them "200". It's easy to fold and installation when it ships is insanely easy. All you have to install when the bike arrives is one foot pedal, everything else is done for you. I do recommend you carry some sort of wrench to tighten any loose screws on the handle bar and seat whenever they get a little bit loose. Other than that I think it's a fantastic bike. Easily fits in the home, can fit inside a car trunk and can even fit in subway rush hour.

@@hasan_z yes, I figured out that it is a mass product that you can buy unbranded from Alibaba and just put your name on it. That's because there exist multiple bikes like that under a different names
I would love to try 1 of these on the banks where I live but I already know, it would not make it up. Shame.
WARNING. ADO 20+. Bought the ADO on the strength of this video
Bike arrived and immediately noticed a few things not right. The standard was secondhand rusty screws, back wheel has chips out of the paint in many places. The forks are very poor quality. The stantions are supposed to be ultra smooth but I found file marks, raised spots and a nick with a sharp edge
After relatively short time these will wear down the seals and cut like a file into the alloy lower part of the forks. Customer Services: you are dealing direct with the company in HK China. And after a month of promises of compensation we are no further forward.
Hi what's your heigt and weight?
Hi, I‘m 1.83cm and show the seat pole extension related to my size.
My weight is 90kg
@@elProducente cheers👍
Waitin for d11 vs ado comparison. Thanks for your work.
Just tell me how to use Himo z20 throttle control
There are some bikes for specific countries where the throttle is disabled, if that’s what you are looking for
@@elProducente yes I’m looking the way how to enable throttle controls in NSW Australia
hey can you please tell me i have the ado a20 and my p06 setting was set to 25 from supplier is this wrong thank you i notice you have it at 20 thanks in advance 🤗
Hi, according to my info 25 isn't even an option for P06, as it is the wheel diameter an there are just even numbers.
For ADO A20 it should be 20
@@elProducente ow realy dats strange it was definetly set at 25 thanks for the help
@@elProducente i can go up 1" at a time
I'll also try again on my bike to see if it's 1" or 2" steps or if there is difference between controllers. Thanks for the info!
@@elProducente thank you highly aprecciate the help it was set at 25 been my wheel diameter i can keep going up in the p06 settings but it has 20" wheels i wouldnt want to damage something but every video i watch p06 is set at 20
thx
A20 here in the Philppines is only 7.5Ah, wth, yet more expensive than Z20.
interesting that they have different int. versions. Maybe according to local laws
Liked and subscribed too
Thank you very much!
THREE key questions:
1) Can unwanted intrusive pedal-assist be totally/permanently deactivated? Throttle-only power please!
2) Why is no rear luggage rack included?
3) Why is real range less than hslf the 80km claimed ?! Surely the manufacturers/sellers should be prosecuted for deception and making very exaggerated, false and misleading claims !
If a cake producer claims a pack contains 8 cakes but it only contains 4 cakes the cake producer would be prosecuted and fined for misleading consumers.

Hi
1) no, but you can choose to only use throttle mode on these models
2) they sell it as accessories, which I like so you don’t pay it in the standard package if not needed
3) range is stated to be in pedal assist, throttle only is less range
You sound like Thomas from autogefuhl.
I prefer Himo Z20
Looks better, I think A20 has the better features
The ADO A20 is no longer like that in 2023, it no longer comes with the pre-installed turner throttle. If you order the international version, you will get a thumb throttle sent to you separately.
In the international version you also get a bigger motor 350w, which you can unlock. The EU version is 250w, and you can unlock it but the bike does not go faster - the motor is visibly smaller and lighter.
I was going to buy it, but not any more, the newer version comes with 'cross your city' logo on it. I'd say avoid it.
Thanks for the update. Too bad you can't update RUclips videos, I might do a short on the updated features
Big Thanks !
You're welcome, thanks for the feedback!
Wich one climb better hills?
What is the torque A20? And the torque Z20?
Too bad you didn't compare them on slopes to climb
A20 performs better. I tried but it was hard to show the result in the video.
@@elProducente very much better or just a little better?
You can time a distance on a road that climbs well and it would allow you to really realize which is better
himo product more stylish (look z16 desain masterpiece) but they lock speed make we anggry 😂
Yes, that's the concern with Himo, ADO is faster
You can unlock the z20 to 36km/h
With different hardware or only with software?
@@elProducente you can chech on youtube but if you cant find it. Just turn on your himo, hold the mode button for 10sec then there should be a big P on the screen you just press mode until you come to the Pd (password) and type 1919 and the you will just set tye speed limit to 41 from 25.
@@elProducente no it acutaly goes like 27 instead of 25
your blog doesn't work anymore
Thanks for the info, I’m having an error in Wordpress I can’t fix right now
comparing ebike with front suspension and with without it...lol
Comparing two 20“ folding e-bikes with similar size, weight, battery, performance and price. There are a few differences though.
I hardly do any comments but yours makes me laugh so I have to reply it.... anyways, These two bikes are in the same category and target buyer so it is a very good comparison.
Ado is junk Don't go anywhere near it 😩
Get a Fiido 😎
I got a Fiido as well (D11) and experienced issues. You can read it on my blog
Not legal
Depends on the country you want to ride the bike
Please note that both these bikes are illegal in EU unless registered as a moped . Hence cannot be used on bikeways.Must be used on roads with the moped insurance, driving licence and compliant motorbike crash helmet. These bikes are not pedelec EU compliant. Why? Has twist and go throttle and may be accelerated and maintained in motion without pedal assist. Be warned police across EU countries are now fining users without registration as moped as described. Fines can run in excess of 3000 Euros. Be warned.
They are available as EU version with pedal assist only
It's very different within EU countries.
You're here on every ebike review with all this. There's something wrong with you!
Thanks for the great video. Is the linked A20+ version on geekbuying the EU version? How can I distinguish it from the international one? Is the controller of the EU version really locked?
Hi, that's really hard to tell as they often changed the description, I would check the official website when they are not more expensive
Thanks for sharing your feedback!
Excellent review. Thanks 👍🏼
