Tumbleweed is my favorite EJ album and Madman is my 2nd favorite EJ album. I'll have to check out Hookfoot.

They are worth hearing. They are a blues/folk style. Nothing like Elton. Caleb & Ian share the vocals.

I liked the one Hookfoot album I dug up about twenty years ago. It was in the ELTON JOHN section of the second hand record store. Not knowing what to expect, I put it on & heard some really good Blues/Folk style songs. Nothing against Elton, but that record sounded nothing like his songs. It was really good.

I once read a quote where Eric Clapton got asked "how does it feel to be the best guitarist in the world " Eric replied " don't know ask Caleb Quaye".

The version I heard several times Eric's answer was Rory Gallagher. Perhaps Eric spread the love!
