Once again I've teamed up with the very talented Simone Lo Castro of Italy, this time to bring you John Rutter's setting of "Blow, Blow, Thou Winter Wind" (text from Shakespear's 'As You Like It').

Thanks for that.... very enjoyable - well done -- great presentation (with graphics). Just sung this piece at a holiday concert with 4 parts and full orchestra -- an audience favorite...

Very spookily, as you were singing this, the weather outside which is much as in your video, abated and the sun shone through the window, warming my right hand side. A few seconds after the video finished, the sun vanished and it returned to snow and wind.
So, more please, Ireland needs your voices!!

Thanks, Rhett. I first learned this song back in my high school days (30-some years ago...). When I recently came upon the music again, it brought back great memories, and I just had to record it. :)

Ah! Methought I recognized the text as being Shakespearean BEFORE I read your explanation. Nice to know that my English degrees were not entirely wasted. . . I was not aware that this had been set to music, and I love Rutter's work. Lovely! [P.S. When are you and "Enricator" going to combine voices again?!]

Good question, Sonya! Not sure. He's been very busy with "real life" music, and not recording so much. I do miss hearing him on RUclips.
