She only goes crazy when her emotions are overwhelmed with her full oni-power. If her emotions are stable she could control her full oni-power normally.
That just means that Subaru is so important to her that even through her oni rage she can keep her rationale. See how Ram made her snap out for a split second? Subaru now tops Ram in Rem's eyes.

Actually, Subaru is fit and has decent brute strength. Considering it's a desperate situation and that both Ram and Rem are fairly light (they both weigh about 50 Kgs), it's not that far fetched.

This anime has every genre within one show. Elements of horror, comedy, mystery, love, action, adventure, etc. after season 2, I would begin the debate of having it in the top 10 anime’s of all time.
I'm a little worried the 2nd season won't hold up as well as the first. Some of the angst gets cranked up to 11 and I don't know if it'll have an antagonist as great as Betelgeuse to carry it.
I hope this comment pages poorly and season two is even better than the first.

Rem is apparently around 125lb actually.
Even though ram is slightly taller, she's has a smaller frame them rem. So Id day she's roughly 10-15lbs lighter
(Rems weight was listed. But rams isn't for some reason lol)
So with Subaru being pretty fit like he is, adding the adrenaline, I'd say this is possible. He did have to essentially launch her though by swinging her back then tossing her for momentum.
