The terrifying part of Pandora’s power was the way it looked. There wasn’t a cool effect on the screen like when Subaru got isekaied. It was a legit jump cut without any audio. It really felt like she altered reality

What I love about re zero is that there are literally just a bunch of world ending hyper powerful op people that chill and don’t even interact with the main protagonist.
These flashbacks serve as setups for future arcs so the main protagonist will definitely clash with these villains at some point.

I like how a literal reality warper forced Regulus to be calm but Regulus hates being told what to do so much that he became angry after being forced not to be angry.
When she sent Regulus away she was speaking like stating a fact and if that's how her reality changing powers work a simple demanding sentence won't do anything.
IMO this is still, By Far, one of the most impressive introductions to an "overpowered" character I've seen in an anime. At first, I thought the recording had skipped. There were no flashy effects, there was no drawn out scene where she charges up her power. Regulus had the same expression on his face that I did when she re-appeared. Regulus thinks, and the world listens. But Pandora speaks, and the universe obeys.
"Now, hold on. Right now, you’re not even paying attention to me? Yet the fact is that despite this, you attempted to involve me in your attack regardless… What are you doing? That’s trampling on my life, my existence, my rights, and my very humanity, is it not? you saw that, not only was Regulus returned to his mansion without any knowledge or recollection of his presence being in the forest, the entire forest was also 'fixed' by his warping
since it got smashed apart as a result of the fight between him and geuse, if he's not there then the forest also wasn't smashed and geuse didn't lose his arm
the fact that the background is instantly fixed in the second he vanishes just underscores how powerful Pandora's ability is, as well as a visual clue to the scope of pandoras powers
she has to specify to fortuna and geuse that the only reason they remember events as they once were and that geuse still has the witch sloth factor is that she let those events remain as they are
meaning she can casually undo them at any point if it suits her
she can not only re-write events, she can even specify specific results to leave unaltered to suit her purposes going forward
just about the only thing she can't seem to fully control though is human will and choices- which might be part of the reason she spared Geuse and fortuna from her alterations, because they were both standing like that in front of her as a result of their choices to do so, which she seems to sincerely respect
Fortuna is actually pretty selfish, coming back cause she loves Betelgeuse when it’s very likely she’ll die.... the promise she made to be with Emilia forever in spirit is cruel because Emilia, as a child, can’t help but interpret it as Fortuna swearing to be there physically. Emilia treasures promises with Fortuna so much, which makes it more heartbreaking.
I think she will come back more so that Betelgeuse does not fall so fast and can do more time if they fight together. If she ran away with Emilia, they would reach them faster after defeating Betelgeuse, in addition to the fact that the objective is to move Emilia as far as possible.
I think Fortuna also wants to avenge her brother. She also wants to stop Pandora given her goal is to open the seal which for some reason will be very bad.
Well, that's exactly what Fortuna said. That she is very weak and only put a tough front in front of Guese and Emilia. If she was truly strong she would have ran away with Emilia, as she said herself.
I haven't read the novel but I'm calling out that mother fortuna is pakku which means he's actually female and by now the hint of him calling her "my daughter" is pretty obvious

The only way to counter that is by preventing someone to reach reality aka. Gold Experience Requiem or overwriting reality yourself. aka The World Over Heaven. And it's also not known if her power has a range. If it doesn't, she really just yeet Nazarick's existence like it's nothing. But still this is just speculation, since we don't know her limitations.

What makes pandora so terrifying is that not only is her ability seen as unbeatable but the fact that she doesn't even use it to get what she wants unless someone makes her use it. it's like she expects to just walts in there asks for what she wants and will get it just like that.
You realize she doesn't even block or avoid attacks, she sees them as magnificent and beautiful expressions of a futile and useless resistance against her, she sure embodies vainglory.

Anime did a great job of showing her power. The instant transition, scenery change and no sound was perfect and created tension in the atmosphere.

The amazing thing is - after Pandora gets rid of Regulus, the forest road shows no signs of fight at all (2:26). Attention to 'details'
They cut it at the coolest part. Not only was regulus back at his mansion but everything reset as if he was there the entire time. It’s not teleportation, Pandora is like a 5th dimensional being, freely playing with the 4th dimension (time). It’s nuts.
