Well as you know it, i've been doing some research on who is coming and going in All My Children. Looks to me that Scott Chandler, Stuart chandlers adopted son, will be returning on April 6th, so look out for him. With that, you can expect more onscreen time of Stuart aswell. Liza Colby will be returning aswell, somewhere in April. Her involvement will be the matter of her daughter, Colby. And as you all know, Bianca will be returning to put a resolution to the whole Bianca/Reese situation.
I doubt we'll get a new opening until after sweeps, when another major character is set to exit (from what I'm reading online). If that happens, they'll take out that character, Babe, maybe Myrtle (tear :() and Dre. They'll add in Brot and Reese depending on how long they stay.

Brot will get one. Not sure about Opal and Pete, but there's a rumor that many contract actors are being bumped to recurring and remaining in the credits to save face and fill space, so maybe they'll add in some recurring players. 3. I find your comments to be entertaining, yet factual, but I cant help but feel that at times Greenlee creates herself to play as the helpless victim. I too am not trying to start an argument, but there were so many times she seemed to come across as that in her dilemas. Her stealing Spike, breaking Aidan's heart, only to go back to Ryan, while he was still married to Annie. Babe was one thing, and Greenlee as well, and now they're both gone...
Those photos are like memories of before, so they just might not do that, but I hope if they do that they put in one of Mrytle she should have one in the beginning. Tad needs a new shot.
As for why Bianca is next to Frankie... no idea. That is definitely random. I assume when they add in Carmen and Reese and remove Babe next time, Carmen will slip in between Jack and Colby and Reese in between Frankie and Bianca (assuming they keep the same general order). Carmen is friends with Colby. However, I think Elizabeth is just really camera shy. She doesn't appear to enjoy pictures, so maybe she's refusing to take a headshot. It's possible.
I agree, I really like Palmer's shot. Something about the hand by the neck makes him look dangerous. And I love that now four people (Angie, Palmer, Randi, and Bianca) have their hand incorporated into their shot, but all doing different things. Brilliant.
YES, if they don't put Pete on contract, I'm going to cry. They always group the vets with no storyline together (Myrtle, Palmer, Jack this time). Mrytle should get a spot in the beginning with Phoebe. She was a nice lovely, pretty red headed sweet girl, and her montage is to be aired Dec 19 of 2008. I love how Mrytle just flies same with Palmer like they did when this opening was first made which I loved. To bad that is going to get deleted again or maybe they will get other people to fly off.

no because the difference between Greenlee and Babe, is for one Greenlee knows shes not a saint. Babe thought she was. Two: Kendall and Erica made Greenlee pay for what she did, but Babe did not. Everytime Kendall or Erica insulted Babe or tried to get revenge, David or someone ALWAYS stopped them. Greenlee being in that well, bite by a snake and starved for 5 wks on top of being poisoned by a root was more than deserving. Babe never got what was coming to her, thats why megan mctavish was fired

T.T As for new updates, for sure Greenlee is leaving sometime during the Spring, so in March sources say. I will miss Babe and Myrtle in the opening, but will most likely be removed, along side with Dre, when Greenlee departs from the show... I personally dont love babe to an extent, I just only got into her character because she shared similar struggles to the women who I do love, which was Dixie. =) Her likeness to Dixie, and also her appearance made me consider her as a favorite, but only that. However, as you might know, I will miss Greenlee when she departs from the show... I mean her getting back with Ryan, and her life turning around for the better, only for her to die later on, its just cruel...
I honestly don't even care if all they do is remove people, I want people out of here that aren't on anymore! This is going to turn out to be the longest lasting version yet :X
You can't say it applies to all shows on completely different networks. Also, when was Nathaniel removed? Was his character off the show? Also, I never assumed OLTL had the same guidelines as AMC. They obviously don't, they're horrible at updating their opening. I was just trying to give reason to why they may have removed Christina early.
I couldn't agree with you more. =) Overall, I do hope that some of the old characters, like Skye, Hayley, Maria, Brooke, Sean, Lily, Dixie, Mia, heck, even Cliff and Nina, and more do come back with a new storyline added to them. =) It would bring the ethenticity of the show back from the grave, and into people's view. I don't mind the change as you agree, just dont over do it. Hope they change, or at least fix the opening sequence soon. RIP Stuart... =(
4. They love the Chandlers being by each other, so I don't see that happening. And I think Colby will get the fly away shot because she did before Bianca came back. 5. They've never done that, mainly just the current cast in the past.
I agree with you aswell, nothing beats the originals, I basically grew up with them you know. =) I'm all up for new characters, but characters who just have no known background, or is just there to fill in the slots just annoy the hell out of me. I like your ideas, about sean and the other core family's, it would be nice to have Skye back, hell, even Hayley. I miss Dixie so much, so Di would be great to bring back from the dead. =) Lily would have to come back aswell since she had great reviews.
Honestly, if the can take the time to update the new characters into the opening sequence, then they should at least update the current ones aswell. I mean most have a new look, e.i Krystal, Tad, Zach. I do hope in the near future they do a new opening, with new pics of them. Oh, by the way, I think they're going to rearrange it alittle to accomidate another new character that will debut in June, so lets see if we can expect another change soon. =)
I'm also hoping for newer, fresher faceshots of them. Don't know why Stuart isn't part of the sequence, because there is definately enough room between Myrtle and Palmer, which I gotta say, Palmer's new faceshot is strong and "out there". Which is fine, but the shot of Jackson behind him is way to quick. The near end sequence baffles me because it makes no sense at all. I'll miss Babe, and Myrtle when they're removed from the opening, but I gotta say, this opening is my least fav. from them all.

No matter what Erica does, i will cheer her on. cause shes fun to watch. Babe was just flat out annoying. she hurt Bianca time and time again. kidnapping is kidnapping, but greenlee kidnapped spike for all of five minutes and went to give the baby back. Babe had miranda for a whole year and then gave her back ONLY because she got her son back first!

She lied to get JR out of prison for attempting to kill Kendall which almost caused Spikes death. TWO kids hurt. and then she toyed with Josh's heart, knowing she would break it. so know Babe was ruined.

I don't think there's a legal obligation to ADD people, it's only a legal thing when they're removing people still with the show.
I agree, I really like Palmer's shot. Something about the hand by the neck makes him look dangerous. And I love that now four people (Angie, Palmer, Randi, and Bianca) have their hand incorporated into their shot, but all doing different things. Brilliant.

They always group the vets with no storyline together (Myrtle, Palmer, Jack this time). Colby and Dre are friends, even though he's not on, Amanda and David are going to be a couple, possibly a triangle with Taylor. Taylor and Jake are going to be a couple. Randi needs to be here instead of Frankie because she can't be next to Bianca and have them both with their hands in their hair. She is linked to Taylor and Frankie is to Jake.
They put Stuart in the opening only when they have room. Babe & Free need to be in the opening until their contracts expire...

Well, it was within their last week on the show, I assume, so it's probably fine. We don't know what the legalities are exactly. Maybe the rule is that they can be removed exactly 3 days before their contract cycle lapses? :P
Mrytle should get a spot in the beginning with Phoebe. She was a nice lovely, pretty red headed sweet girl, and her montage is to be aired Dec 19 of 2008. I love how Mrytle just flies same with Palmer like they did when this opening was first made which I loved. To bad that is going to get deleted again or maybe they will get other people to fly off.
Yeah, I had the same thought. But maybe in place of Myrtle, they'll add Stuart back in. We'll see on Monday or Tuesday, God willing.

It is said that she might be probably returning sometime in 2009, and that (SPOILER) she did not die, and that she is currently in a coma for a for those years, kept by David Hayward.
Ava is not returning. Also, Greenlee's mother isn't "debuting," but returning, and neither she or Reese's mother are going to be in the opening. I also doubt Riley will be in it.
no because the difference between Greenlee and Babe, is for one Greenlee knows shes not a saint. Babe thought she was. Two: Kendall and Erica made Greenlee pay for what she did, but Babe did not. Everytime Kendall or Erica insulted Babe or tried to get revenge, David or someone ALWAYS stopped them. Greenlee being in that well, bite by a snake and starved for 5 wks on top of being poisoned by a root was more than deserving. Babe never got what was coming to her, thats why megan mctavish was fired

Well i've did my research, and well sadly Dixie's return is nothing more than a possiblility... T.T As for new updates, for sure Greenlee is leaving sometime during the Spring, so in March sources say. I will miss Babe and Myrtle in the opening, but will most likely be removed, along side with Dre, when Greenlee departs from the show... As for Newcomers, Laila Williams (Reese's mother) will debut, along side with Greenlee's mother in Jan. 29th.

Her likeness to Dixie, and also her appearance made me consider her as a favorite, but only that. However, as you might know, I will miss Greenlee when she departs from the show... I mean her getting back with Ryan, and her life turning around for the better, only for her to die later on, its just cruel...
Natalia and Opal are recurring, and you legally have to leave Dre in. I like the order though, except David needs to be by Amanda somehow.
I honestly don't even care if all they do is remove people, I want people out of here that aren't on anymore! This is going to turn out to be the longest lasting version yet :X
You can't say it applies to all shows on completely different networks. Also, when was Nathaniel removed? Was his character off the show? Also, I never assumed OLTL had the same guidelines as AMC. They obviously don't, they're horrible at updating their opening. I was just trying to give reason to why they may have removed Christina early.
I couldn't agree with you more. =) Overall, I do hope that some of the old characters, like Skye, Hayley, Maria, Brooke, Sean, Lily, Dixie, Mia, heck, even Cliff and Nina, and more do come back with a new storyline added to them. =) It would bring the ethenticity of the show back from the grave, and into people's view. I don't mind the change as you agree, just dont over do it. Hope they change, or at least fix the opening sequence soon. RIP Stuart... =(

4. They love the Chandlers being by each other, so I don't see that happening. And I think Colby will get the fly away shot because she did before Bianca came back.

I agree with you aswell, nothing beats the originals, I basically grew up with them you know. =) I'm all up for new characters, but characters who just have no known background, or is just there to fill in the slots just annoy the hell out of me. I like your ideas, about sean and the other core family's, it would be nice to have Skye back, hell, even Hayley. I miss Dixie so much, so Di would be great to bring back from the dead. =) Lily would have to come back aswell since she had great reviews.

Honestly, if the can take the time to update the new characters into the opening sequence, then they should at least update the current ones aswell. I mean most have a new look, e.i Krystal, Tad, Zach. I do hope in the near future they do a new opening, with new pics of them. Oh, by the way, I think they're going to rearrange it alittle to accomidate another new character that will debut in June, so lets see if we can expect another change soon. =)
I'm also hoping for newer, fresher faceshots of them. Don't know why Stuart isn't part of the sequence, because there is definately enough room between Myrtle and Palmer, which I gotta say, Palmer's new faceshot is strong and "out there". Which is fine, but the shot of Jackson behind him is way to quick. The near end sequence baffles me because it makes no sense at all. I'll miss Babe, and Myrtle when they're removed from the opening, but I gotta say, this opening is my least fav. from them all.

Nah. I think it's actually pretty good. It flows well and the vets have a nice showcase. Jack's shot is too brief for my liking, but he's hardly used anyway.

"flying pictures" i love that myrtle got 1 but come on they need to sit down and work on this opening. the flying pics were much better in the 1st 5 versions, they need to pick the older ppl who have been on the show the longest and wil still be on the show and put them in the flying pictures segments, please someone fix this opening

now Greenlee isn't perfect. I love the fact that she's wicked. And love watching the actress play bad and get away with it. Just like Erica. No matter what Erica does, i will cheer her on. cause shes fun to watch. Babe was just flat out annoying. she hurt Bianca time and time again. kidnapping is kidnapping, but greenlee kidnapped spike for all of five minutes and went to give the baby back. Babe had miranda for a whole year and then gave her back ONLY because she got her son back first!

and besides, rule one in a soap, you dont bring on new characters like Krystal and Babe one day and a few months later make them baby nappers. the characters were ruined. now had Babe had gotten what was coming to her, BY the kanes it would have been ok. but se did worse then Greenlee. She lied to get JR out of prison for attempting to kill Kendall which almost caused Spikes death. TWO kids hurt. and then she toyed with Josh's heart, knowing she would break it. so know Babe was ruined.

haha. you are right! i do love Greenlee! my favorite character. and you are also right i have not forgiven this show for having her go back to loser ryan and dumping dreamy hottie aidan. she deserves way better than abusive ryan. for that, IF Rebecca Budig comes back, hopefully her presumed dead accident will have got it trough her thick skull that Aidan is the man for her. CM is a hottie, but enough is enough. But yes, i am VERY protective of my Greenlee. hehe. im going to miss her. =(
um why does Ryan get the honor of being after Erica? That honor should have gone to Kendall since she is her DAUGHTER! Ryan has no relation ties safe for the sake of Spike.
