@@amandasdesignsofficial I just saw this, gonna attempt a pour today. But, very scared. I'm still stuck on flip cups, and straight pours and ring pours, i'm getting really good at those.
You are right people do say warm honey. I just can’t think of a reason to warm honey 🤣🤣🤣 wonderful video. Thanks I’m going to my kitchen to warm the honey now 😎💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
Home Depot is little cheaper for the Floetrol. I haven’t tried the Arteza but I love Artist Loft. Thanks for your instructions. I’m not real good at Dutch pour but I’m learning from great artists like You!
Thank you so much! I hope the video helps. Arteza has some really nice paints if you want t try a different brand. Good to hear prices are decent at Home Depot/. Unfortunately where I live they don't carry the gallons in the store. :(
Amanda's Designs I have ran into that myself. I do like using the Floetrol as a medium. I have also experimented with glue and house paints. I like your ideas and the way you think. It’s similar to my own. I’ve only been creating since May. But I’ve fallen in love with pour art.
I tried my first ever dutch pour today . But i just couldnot move my colors on canvas , no matter how much i blew with the hair dryer. What could be the reason ? Do you need a particular voltage of dryer or the paint could be thick ? Pls guide.
Companies have contacted me to send supplies to try out. I haven't signed up, don't know if that is a possibility, but you can always reach out and ask.
Hi Peggy, yes I try to keep all colors the same consistency no matter what brand or color. So sometimes you may need a little more water or a little less depending on the consistency of the paint.
Thank you! Not torching is just my preference. I prefer cells to form organically versus what form when you torch (if torching to form cells is your aim). If you have a lot of air bubbles you can also torch to remove those, but again, just my preference that I do not feel the need to do that.
Once the painting is dry, before you can resin or varnish it, you need to remove the residue from the silicone oil. Soup and water or rubbing alcohol remove it.
Beautiful, I loved seeing the mixing and the consistency. Dutch pours have always been a struggle for me 💙
Thank you! I hope seeing the consistency helps.
@@amandasdesignsofficialI'm going to try again soon 😁💖 🤞🤞🤞
This was really helpful as i am just a beginner.. Thank you so much for sharing!!
I'm glad it was helpful!
Thank you!!! I like how you just cut to the chase, and use a cup for your water. I am still struggling with dutch pours.
Just keep practicing! Thank you!

Glad it was helpful!
I’m a hairstylist and that mouth thing is called a concentrator😉 Beautiful Dutch pour🖤💙💚🤍
Thank you for sharing that! I have have to look for different styles of concentrators to see how they differ from each other!

Thanks So Much!!! Its Gorgeous
Thank you!
Beautiful! Are all of your paints the same consistency? Are your black and white the same consistency as your blues and greens?
Yes they are all similar consistency.
Thank you! SO many helpful things in this. Keep it up!
Thank you! Will do!
great tutorial & beautiful painting!
Thank you!

I assume your paint just may have been too thick. Try a little thinner next time and see if that works out for you!
Absolutely gorgeous awesome work this is my favourite I love your work so much 😍😍😍😍😘😙😚😘😘😙😘😚😍😍😍😘❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💙💖💖💖💟💟💕💓💞💕💓💞💕💓💞💕💓💞💕💓💞💝💜💛💚💚💗💗
Thank you so much 😀
Very very nice! Um abraço do Brasil!!
Thank you!
Looks beautiful and thank you for sharing lm interested in how you resin the top
Thank you! I can definitely do another video talking through the resin process. :)
Very pretty! Love the colors!! Thanks for the info on your paint mix. It can be so confusing...🙄
You are so welcome!
i know Im kind of randomly asking but does anybody know of a good site to watch new movies online ?
@Khari Colson I would suggest FlixZone. You can find it by googling =)
Great video, thanks for sharing! I'm wondering how you came to get products from the manufacturer, did you sign up with them or??? TIA!

Hey Amanda, Do you always mix each paint your using for a Dutch pour the same consistency no matter what brand or color you use?
Hi Peggy, yes I try to keep all colors the same consistency no matter what brand or color. So sometimes you may need a little more water or a little less depending on the consistency of the paint.
Are your base colors and the colors you use to blow out the same consistency? Thanks in advance.
Yes I try and keep them all the same consistency.
Great tutorial! I noticed that you did not torch your painting. Why? I know some do & some don't, but I'd like to hear your input. Thanks.

오방금올라왔네! 잘보고있습니다
Thank you!
Really nice, but dont you torch the bubbles.?
No, I rarely torch. Just my preference.
@@amandasdesignsofficial I thought torching was good to get rid of air bubbles. I use it for this.
What type of "clean up" do you have to do if you use silicone?????
Once the painting is dry, before you can resin or varnish it, you need to remove the residue from the silicone oil. Soup and water or rubbing alcohol remove it.
Very informative:D what kind of paint are you using?thank you
Acrylic paints
When mixing paint does each colour has to have flood flotrol
Yes each color has the floetrol and water.
Can you let us know tha wattzz of the blowers....is it 600 wtz or 1200 ect
1875 Watts
How do you store leftover paint please?
You can cover it with saran wrap. Some people use containers to store it.
Mixing paints on the canvas, I’d be concerned of spilling.
I have spilled a few times ;)
