Great OST, it has this weird feeling to it by adding distortion and weird sounds to otherwise relaxing and nice songs, exactly like the show did. On the surface it's just another school setting but even before shit got real there's always something a little off about it. I mean every character except the protagonist is totally ok with the whole alien situation and doesn't take Yuris struggle serious. Almost like the the show itself decieves you by hiding it's nature, it's actually a very disturbing concept.

I wanted to die because it gets so good after that. The manga deserved a full anime adaptation... the OVAs were outstanding and even better than the manga in the way they handled the symbolism, but I wanted to see all of it animated.

This is one of the first animes I watched back when I was a kid a few years back this and Dragon Ball Z anyways I recently rewatched Alien 9 then read the manga online and I am glad I did because the anime leaves you with so many questions to the sad ending but the manga answers the questions it is worth reading.

Funny that such a sweet sounding song I used in a horribly mind-blowing series. I see why people do not get past the cuteness of the characters and the comedy element. Still, like Monster this Anime is suppose to get to scared inside out first rather than visually. The fate of the girls is terrifying specially the blonde one. I hope that someone finishes it at least.

To those that wonder what happened after the OVA - the manga continues the story. Have not read the manga, but have read the short blurb on TV Tropes. It ends with "Compare Puella Magi Madoka Magica".

i don't judge anime by the music just what they do. And this anime is somewhat between watching a slice-of-life anime and watching "end of evangellion".

Now that I think about it, this was the first anime I watched, it introduced me to the world of anime. Mushi-Shi came along after.
