Thank you for the quick run through. I tried the OTA on my Max 4 and no bueno. The OTA and my Android didn't like each other so i just got this on order.
I just purchased one of these along with a G3 XR8 motor and esc. The programming box is the best $40 I've spent. Now I need to do some homework and pearn what the disc brake setting and other settings are
In the future will you sell rebuild kits for the EZrum g3 motors that comes with bearings screws shims rotor and possibly the 0-rings?
Damn when you said it was like the OTA I thought it would connect directly to the esc and eliminate the phone

@@albertkelly7129 you can plug the esc directly into it just like the old program box. And you can use it as an OTA. He demonstrates it in the video
The OTA adapter, while small and able to be left inside the body while running (not recommended) is $60-$70 but is required to use the app on your phone. This does what the LCD g2 version of the programmer did plus does what the OTA does (but not as small) for only $10 more than the G2 box. At like $40 it's a much better deal than the OTA module if you don't wanna plug it in and leave it.

This thing connects to esc way faster than the box it replaces as well as the wifi module and OTA.
An all in one solution that does it all better.

It looks like you can connect the OTA dongle to the ESC and then this box will connect to the OTA via Bluetooth. Not sure how the box is powered in that scenario though. Good question.

Maybe just connecting a mini 2s battery on esc port 🤔

So for the moment I'm a little disappointed with this lcd program box pro, I hope hw make an update to fix this issue

Does this programmer work either the QuickRun Fusion SE styled motors with buikt in ESCs? Still looks impressive as heck!!
Unfortunately it does not work with the Fusions.
This is the second box now that is stuck on ( Please update firmware ) and won’t connect Bluetooth. If you select update, like I did it will do this. How can this be fixed???

The box, has Bluetooth built into it. There is no need to use anything extra to connect to it using Bluetooth.

No you need the 'program card' type
Is there a card that uses a wifi dongle that can run with the car like furytec does, so ya can stop make adjustments save and test?

The Bluetooth module is used like this. Not sure if it offers WiFi though. It's small enough to be plugged in and left connected while you do a few laps then bring into the pits and make the adjustments and go again.

you need to use the previous versions. There are multiple websites from where you can download different versions of an app. The app will ask you every time you open it to update.....dont do it :)
@profix25lo the support team answered me and sent me a link to download the app...not from play store but V2... was working! ;)
@@mp_rc_power there is an update from the 9. january where they fixed this. So now the newest version works again :)

My understanding is that the G3 box, along with the V2 box, will work with the newer Quicrun 150amp ESCs. The older gen Quicrun escs, which don't work with the V2 box, still require the old school program card. I believe that moving forward, all the newly released Quicrun series will work with the G3 box.

I hate these hobbywing systems. They are slow unless you use boost and turbo, then they will melt your battery terminals. Hobbywing sucks, I feel sorry for anybody who buys this crap.
Sound kinda like the guy who was crying about a v10 recently and everyone was telling him it may be his crap soldering job that was causing a lot of heat problems and he didn't want to listen to anyone who pointed it out. Plus older cheap batteries. Then add to that he just guessed at the boost and turbo setting. His bullet plugs were old and smashed. And when someone pointed out that his connections appeared to be cold soldered he said "what's that. It's soldered. Electricity is flowing. What's the problem." He eventually dialed everything back and found a point that wasn't drawing too much power but has already had multiple memes created about him. Hope that wasn't you and you just prefer tekin or some other brand.

i guarantee you have a car/plane/helicopter/drone or boat with a hobbywing system in it. SOOO many manufactures just re brand hobbywing shit, big giant manufactures included. for instance, every horizon hobby brand i know of uses spektrum and guess where spektrum gets their ESCs from?
