Good Evening Keith , I hope all is well with you Nat and the Family , Hollands Pies ! wow that took me back to going to the Football with my dad and grandad ! the pies were always a half time treat ! very often more interesting than the match ! they were always scalding hot and you needed a tube of Savlon in your pocket for the 3rd degree burns they gave you ! an excellent review on an excellent product ! Hollands Steak pies are superb ! have a great Evening mate :-)

I am in the middle half of my family would say custard but the other half would say cream

I really like the mixed pot,swede,turnip mash- any brand. But M&S colcannon, mash with savoy cabbage, mustard, cream is brilliant. But has to be a treat cos off the price & fat level, I tell myself the cabbage (extra nutrients , fibre. Make up for the cream. Do Morrisons still do their single apple pies that are deep they were cooked instore= really lovely.

I think that buying cooked pies ...like in lidl the chip shop ones or mince ones work out cheaper because there cooked ..put in the airfryer they are much bigger plus useing the airfryer only 5mins so all round cheaper

The mince pie looked really nice, I've only had the small holland pies before, and the filling has usually been rubbish, deffo going to try this one 😋

milk is def key to microwave mash , 4 mins nuke , dab of milk and mash with a spoon and do another 3-4 mins , mash again and serve
I think they’re just using the old packaging because I’ve been buying these for a very long time certainly over a year anyway

Thing is mate, the whole meal including gas and leckie, probably cost £7•50p. So that's a tasty two course meal with all the trimmings, for four people, for £1•87p a pop....bargain!

Try sweet & sour chicken balls for the fake away mate they pretty easy to do your own sweet sour sauce or Chinese egg foo yung or maybe try a mixed grill often get that from restaurants

Keith if you like steak puddings they do minced beef pudding as well they are really nice and the individual ones the minced beef are nice .Keith I don't like steak pies that morrisonsdo to me they don't have flavour your apple pie and custard looks so yummy I'm a custard girl every time love to you and Nat love fran xxx

Yes, they are good. Only think the ones I bought before were easy to stick in the microwave, these Holland ones are harder. Does help if Defrosted- bit you got to remember to take them out of freezer. From frozen I ended up with suet pastry not all cooked well, and burst pudding, last one I had was Fray Bentos.
