I have 6 of these cameras, having the same problem. I suspended the service through the app, and re-activated it about 5 mins later. Cameras are working and uploading photos again.

My CC expired and my Cams stopped working a few weeks ago(I updated CC and paid) and while support replied back to my email it was the same hold sync while powering on which did nothing. After finding your post I tried suspending them, waited about 5 minutes as you said and shortly after activating them, both started working again!
I figured out how to fix it at least mine go in the app go under your account it will show your camera info click on the arrow it will probably say suspended click on it and activate it
I purchased two of these camera's a couple of weeks ago. I have to say mine are working great and photos are as good as I've seen with any camera at this price range. Be sure to follow the setup instructions to the tee and also update to newest software download as soon as camera is setup. The issues I'm reading in reviews I have not experienced and have received over 40 pics in one night (I'm still in the unlimited 30 day free and have the camera set on instant group). I also have 4 bars at&t service where these are deployed.
Same here... I've had the same cam for a year. I've always gotten pics within a minute of them being taken. Never any issues with this cam. Picture quality is awesome. I can post pics if someone wanted to see them. But my opinion is it's amazing for the cost. Also, we have AT&T providers all around us. This can cause issues too, thus slowing down the pics being sent to you...
I bought the Muddy Manifest 2.0 a few days ago and straight out of the box, I’m having the same exact problems you describe. I tried to fix it with some of the suggestions from the other commenters, but to no avail. I having been trying to contact their tech support through email and phone for a couple days now, but nobody responds. My advice to anybody thinking about buying the Muddy products…..don’t buy it, cause if you have trouble with the product, you won’t be able to resolve it.

Had mine two years. No issues. Updated app today. Nothing but problems. Re-installed sim card. Reformatted sd card or synced camera by turning off and holding sync when i turned it back on. Suspended service for 10 minutes then reactivated service. Deleted the app and reinstalled it on my phone. Nothing worked. Its still not sending photos to my phone. I also called and left my phone number with customer service 5 hours ago. Still havent heard back.
I just bought my first one Sunday. Set it up and it worked fine just like i had hoped then today 3 days later no signal. Was on hold forever with support and after about 1 1/2 hours on hold i seen the signal come up and got one pic around 3:00 in the afternoon. Here it is 6:51 p.m. and nothing but i do still have a signal and i know 100% something has been in front of it. On my old non cell camera i would get 300 pics a week and several everyday so i know something has had to been in front of it. I almost went and purchased another one monday but glad i didn't. I have to drive a ways to check my cameras so figured this would be a better option but guessing not with this camera. oh well, live and learn. My nephew sold me on these but i should have checked reviews first. When i asked him today if he has had any trouble he told me he has had to manually reset them a couple times. With the lack of support they seem like a fly by night company but who knows.
Just bought this camera and trying to perform software update but app says pending and the 3 lights never go full red like app says. Hoping I can figure it out
I have the Muddy Mitigator and just fixed the issue I was having. It was taking pictures, but not sending them to my phone. While trying to sinc the camera to my phone, the battery light was green, the network light was green, but the account light would turn red. And on the command app, it said I had full battery levels. I tried everything I could find on the internet, including the tips in this video, and nothing worked. Finally the most simple thing I tried, I changed the batteries, and poof it magically started working perfectly fine. These cameras make no sense to me.
My wife just got me one of those muddy cellular cameras for Christmas set it up in the morning on my driveway and left for a 2 week vacation it took a picture of us leaving and then nothing els got home on Friday night customer support is not open on the weekends sat on hold for hours on Monday. They claimed that my sd card was corrupted? I went out and bought a new sd card that they recommended worked for 2 days and now nothing again I think I'm gonna return it and try a different brand.
Mine did the same the day after billing me. I did what you did and and my camera's back in action. I almost smashed the damn thing. I threw 1 away last year that did the same.
With my experience!! When the second light turns red turn camera off pull battery pack out resert battery pack turn on camera hold down on the sync button for 20 seconds release all three lights will lite up then turn off camera is ready for pictures. I have 10 of these cameras all work great!!
I have been very unhappy with mine, too! Also the StealthCam Reactor. They ALL stopped syncing photos , but kept billing me. And customer service is nigh impossible to reach, and took them 2 weeks to reply to my email!
I think it’s a app issue and not camera issue. Mine was acting up like that. You have to close out the app and re-open it. At least that’s the fix for me.
Ya I just got one and apparently same problem ,I know a bird or something's had to go by but it's showing on my phone no pictures,so now I have to hike way back out to where it's at just to see what's up. I'm seeing this is probably going to be a pain in the you know what.
I have the morph. It seems very similar to the manifest. I would suggest checking out the SIM card. Mine came with two different SIM cards. 🤦🏻♂️ I had my sim in backwards. I have a Verizon phone, but AT&T seems to have better cellular reception in my area.
They didn’t actually send me a guide. I can’t remember exactly what I was told over the phone but whatever I said in this video might have only worked for my specific case. I know there are some other comments that I have resolved the issues in other ways though if you feel like digging through them! Sorry I couldn’t be more help!
The same thing with the cellular thing going red was happening to me.. the Verizon SIM card didn’t work & then I put the AT&T one in & it went green. Now the camera takes pictures but doesn’t send them to my phone LOL
I know this is a 2 year old video, but my cam just keeps going g through the start up cycle. Will get all 3 green light solid. Then it starts over at the first one, then 2nd, then 3rd then they go solid and then start over. And over, and over. And re-syncs every time. But it wont take a picture.
Mine are doing this but then I do the reset/format procedure, it actually loads through and they all turn off. It takes pictures, I can see them on the SD, but they won’t load in the app. I’ve tried everything at this point
I bought the stealth cam version of this camera and had to do an update and now I’m locked out of my camera no pictures or anything. I’m not sure what to do.
Do I have to get an account with Verizon to use the app and camera? I read in one review that the AT&T or Verizon didn't matter? I use T-Mobile and I can't get the create account to work. I've got a 5G Samsung phone now and have tried on my older 4GLTE phone and get the same results something about a "malformed request" sucks.
i have been the same problems on my fusion , i don't have 2 hours to hold on for customer service, i bought a reveal x i had 4 days so far no problems i will terminate my subscription with the stealth fusion
I know this is a year old but I had all sorts of issues with getting my camera set up. Long story short the SIM card was put in backwards. Turned it around and it’s been working fine since.
Check the SIM card on the side with the brown sticker had the same problem with mine called muddy and they told me that’s what it was and sure enough I’ve not had any problems since..I was about to return mine because of getting frustrated knowing I had good signal but have been satisfied since and bought another one hope this helps

You're typing run-on sentences so it is difficult to understand what it is you are saying or trying to explain. Punctuation and complete sentences would be very helpful.
I’m still having trouble out of mine it will take night photos but it’s like pulling teeth to get it to take day photos..I have 3 of these and they all do the same thing
@@Recruitcreative he’s right you know... I had the same issue with mine today.. red indicator on signal.. pulled the tape and the sim came out.. pushed it back in and barely covered it back up.. Tape is on opposite side of the sd memory card.
My lights go off after they all sequence, turn green and flash, they may flash (all 3) on/off several times, then off. Camera works, they are "status indicators" and by turning off, save battery. If in doubt, switch off then on, no sync required once initialized but you CAN SYNC again. Also day or night (best dark) should see red flash in left side dark lens which tells you shutter clicked just took pic. Hope you get worked out.
I installed mine today and it seems to work okay. My feeling is the 20 mega pixel rating is very generous. Probably more like a 12 mega pix in reality. I don't think the picture quality is what it should be and I do not like the lag between the three picture bursts on a 5 second delay. The camera takes a three picture shot but then seems to go dormant for a few minutes even though there is movement in the frame. I did have to spend about an hour dealing with customer service given I couldn't access a product manual online. Not good. There was/is no explanation as to the details of what the icons are so I had to call to ask. Very frustrating and poorly executed roll out of this product by Muddy. Lastly it seems to infrared light does emit a light that you can easily see at night which I do not like. It is not stealth at all! I'll use the product but I'd like to move into something that does video and where you can adjust the motion sensor to NOT PICK UP the movement of small objects. It takes a lot of pictures with no animals in frame because of the trees and leaves moving.
My camera says that it's not on when it is on I look at my phone it says to turn the camera on I look at the camera the camera is on but no pictures go to my phone I hope to God I'm not going to be billed for this because I can't pay for a service that I can't receive
Not only would I not recommend this camera to nobody I'm thinking about returning the ones that I purchased already for a full refund back to the store because I can't even get customer service to answer the phone or call me back they are totally worthless
@@kevinwallace9237 - These cameras are crap. I returned it to Bass Pro a year ago because the update broke the camera. They call it bricked. The software update literally destroys the camera. Waste of money and time.
I've had mine setup in for about 1.5 years now. The issue right off the bat, and it wasnt really the cameras fault, was I had a weak signal. I have an ATT and a Verizon cellular phone. My Verizon gets better signal where the cameras are placed so I bought Verizon cameras. Up until about 4 or 5 months ago, one of my cameras will not upload pictures. I've gone out to the sight and manually pulled the images and manually synced the devices and still won't get uploads. I have total 3 Manifest cameras and as of this comment, only one uploads pictures. I've stopped the plan on one because it doesnt show signal or battery status so I have to drive up the camera to pull images. the second shows 3 bars of signal and full solar battery power but will not upload any images. The 3rd works just fine. It actually shows NO bars of signal but I get the uploads every once a day like I have it set up. The second one will send me false notifications of a new image but when I check there's nothing. My cameras are in the remote desert of West Texas but signal is strong enough as I am still getting images from one camera. I actually just purchased a signal boost antenna. We'll see if they actually work.
@@chasekingsbury8245 i went with Tactacam Reveal Extended Range Antenna. I gained 2 as much as 2 bars but it fluctuates still. I went from sometimes 2 bars to sometimes 4 bars. Now well just see how long it lasts.
I have 4 muddy cameras and one stealth. Right now I can not get any pictures to come to my phone. I've been overcharged in the past . I'm not happy with there so called customer service.
I have one of these that worked ok for awhile although I did have to reset it like you did a couple of times now. I bought a stealth cam fusion and added it to the plan also and since then neither camera has worked for more than a day or 2 at a time without resetting. I feel your pain… I don’t recommend these.
Make sure you're using a class 10 SD card. On the front of your card you'll see a number with a C around it. That's what class your card is. Also make sure it's 36GB or less.
I’m having literally the exact same issue right now. I called customer support today and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it, they told me they were going to send me an email tomorrow morning and to fill out for the warranty and they want me to send my camera back and when they receive it they are going to send me a new one.. mine also worked great for the first month and now it’s doing this, I have the right SD card in it too.
Just bought this 12 hours ago and I don't like it, it won't send pics to my phone, I know animals are walking by and not taking pictures, if nothing by morning I will return it to the store, I finally got a pic of nothing...no people or animals just weeds and a tree at 4 am, I know a herd of deer went through here last night and I didn't get a single pic. Just now I walked in front of it to see if it will take a pic then checked my phone and didn't take a photo at all after hitting the reset button, not worth the time and frustration
Ugh I'm so annoyed right now. Just bought recently and two cameras have no signal. Suddenly upload time is once daily ugh such a pain! Also customer service is nonexistent and email is even worse so I'm going try get down, since had someone install them for me! I'm not tall enough do it myself ugh
Go into the app and make sure your range is set to as far as possible. The camera range sucks regardless, the thumbnail image that is sent to your phone won’t be as good of a quality as the picture on the sd card. The sd card stores the full sized image
ben m that’s frustrating. You might look at the other comments on this video about the SIM card. I doubt that’s the issue in your case if you are still receiving the test photo though.
To fix this issue: These cameras need a class 10 SD card that is 36GB or less. On the front of your SD card, you'll see a number inside a C. The manufacturer recommends q class 10 card be used to ensure it works properly. When you put the card in, you'll need to format it. Press and hold the SYNC button and switch the camera on. Continue to hold SYNC until the lights turn red and shut off. Follow these steps and it will work.
I’m having the same problem! It worked for 12 hours! Now nothing bring is being sent to my phone! These are rip offs! Why pay for a product that doesn’t work?! Good luck man I’m writing them a letter! Lol
Pull out sd card for 30 seconds, put it back in. Hold sync and turn camera on. Hold sync till all 3 lights blink red then release. Wait till all green are solid then turn off. Test the camera.
I have two of them now and 7 spypoint link micros. IQ is far superior on the muddy. I havent had one issue with the cams in two months...knock on wood. I do have to swipe up the app to close it often though but everything has worked as advertised so far. Do not buy the link micro, thats for sure. CS sucks over there also.
Not happy with our three as well. Only get a pic at midnight and these are placed very far away so I just cant grab em without a few miles hike. Upsetting to say the least especially with the additional money spent on locks, batteries and the memory cards- makes this affordable camera a very expensive tree ornament.

Have 3 and there 10 hours away . Sent pictures great for 30 days so I purchased the yearly plan. Haven’t seen a picture since. No way to talk to anyone trying to call been on hold over the last 2 weeks sometimes 3 hours at a time. Don’t waste your time and money with this junk. They don’t email back either
These cameras are terrible.....mine worked great for 3 days then just went to garbage......the customer service has been terrible......I also had the billing issue lol

These cameras are garbage. At first they seemed to have been working fine but after a couple of months I've notice that they don't really. Started to realize there is a lot of game I am missing. Some times they work, sometimes they don't. Most of the time they don't. I've sat and watched deer and bear come and go and "dance' around in front of my camera but I get no photos of them. The only photo I got was of me walking up to the camera to check if it was on after seeing the game animals there. I bought 4 of these and none of them work. I've had them for too long so I can't return them. What an unbelievable waste of money.

Especially since a lot of people seem to be having the same problems and Muddy doesn't seem to be acknowledging the issues with these cameras. I am certainly going to reconsider buying Muddy products in the future.
I just bought one of these and put it out. All seemed fine, set up was a breeze, app looked great. Test pictures went to phone fine. Then absolutely nothing. This morning I went out there and there had been high traffic without a single picture being taken. None to phone and none on card. All readings indicate there is not a problem with battery, card or signal. So disappointed and getting boxed to return right now. I had been looking for some clue as to what was wrong and it seems these are just junk so no sense trying to get it to work for me. Going to return and get a reveal.

The suspend service and then activate the service worked for me who had the same problem. At least for now. Still a pain.

Mine are doing the same thing. I've made 3 trips 260 miles one way, several phone calls, and I get nothing. This will be my last attempt with muddy

My manifest went all 3 green lights on start up and sent a test picture, but the app says it doesnt have signal and wont send pics to my phone

I’ve watched 4 different deer walk within 10 yards of this camera today and its only taken one photo.... absolutely terrible!
@@Recruitcreative he’s right you know... I had the same issue with mine today.. red indicator on signal.. pulled the tape and the sim came out.. pushed it back in and barely covered it back up.. Tape is on opposite side of the sd memory card.
I’m having the same problem now. I haven’t been able to get ahold of them yet, sat on hold today for 3 hrs. Anyone know how to fix it?

Now I can’t get it to connect to cellular. The said my subscription was cancelled but still billed me and it went through.

I have the same issue, but my camera lights go off after turning green. No help from muddy. I even tried to return but wanted original receipt.
Same… I turned mine off to move them and now they will turn green and turn off but then won’t upload it just tries to re sync
My lights go off after they all sequence, turn green and flash, they may flash (all 3) on/off several times, then off. Camera works, they are "status indicators" and by turning off, save battery. If in doubt, switch off then on, no sync required once initialized but you CAN SYNC again. Also day or night (best dark) should see red flash in left side dark lens which tells you shutter clicked just took pic. Hope you get worked out.
I installed mine today and it seems to work okay. My feeling is the 20 mega pixel rating is very generous. Probably more like a 12 mega pix in reality. I don't think the picture quality is what it should be and I do not like the lag between the three picture bursts on a 5 second delay. The camera takes a three picture shot but then seems to go dormant for a few minutes even though there is movement in the frame. I did have to spend about an hour dealing with customer service given I couldn't access a product manual online. Not good. There was/is no explanation as to the details of what the icons are so I had to call to ask. Very frustrating and poorly executed roll out of this product by Muddy. Lastly it seems to infrared light does emit a light that you can easily see at night which I do not like. It is not stealth at all! I'll use the product but I'd like to move into something that does video and where you can adjust the motion sensor to NOT PICK UP the movement of small objects. It takes a lot of pictures with no animals in frame because of the trees and leaves moving.
My camera says that it's not on when it is on I look at my phone it says to turn the camera on I look at the camera the camera is on but no pictures go to my phone I hope to God I'm not going to be billed for this because I can't pay for a service that I can't receive
Not only would I not recommend this camera to nobody I'm thinking about returning the ones that I purchased already for a full refund back to the store because I can't even get customer service to answer the phone or call me back they are totally worthless
@@kevinwallace9237 - These cameras are crap. I returned it to Bass Pro a year ago because the update broke the camera. They call it bricked. The software update literally destroys the camera. Waste of money and time.
Do you have to use Verizon or ATT?
Ours keeps going to flashing red after flashing green. Then back to the round of greens and back to red. Any ideas?
I believe it has a sticker on the inside of the camera that specifies what that means.
I've had mine setup in for about 1.5 years now. The issue right off the bat, and it wasnt really the cameras fault, was I had a weak signal. I have an ATT and a Verizon cellular phone. My Verizon gets better signal where the cameras are placed so I bought Verizon cameras. Up until about 4 or 5 months ago, one of my cameras will not upload pictures. I've gone out to the sight and manually pulled the images and manually synced the devices and still won't get uploads. I have total 3 Manifest cameras and as of this comment, only one uploads pictures. I've stopped the plan on one because it doesnt show signal or battery status so I have to drive up the camera to pull images. the second shows 3 bars of signal and full solar battery power but will not upload any images. The 3rd works just fine. It actually shows NO bars of signal but I get the uploads every once a day like I have it set up. The second one will send me false notifications of a new image but when I check there's nothing.
My cameras are in the remote desert of West Texas but signal is strong enough as I am still getting images from one camera. I actually just purchased a signal boost antenna. We'll see if they actually work.
I have the same issues going on in Southern Michigan. Keep me updated on the booster if you would, what one did you end up going with?
@@chasekingsbury8245 i went with Tactacam Reveal Extended Range Antenna. I gained 2 as much as 2 bars but it fluctuates still. I went from sometimes 2 bars to sometimes 4 bars. Now well just see how long it lasts.
I have 4 muddy cameras and one stealth. Right now I can not get any pictures to come to my phone. I've been overcharged in the past . I'm not happy with there so called customer service.
I have one of these that worked ok for awhile although I did have to reset it like you did a couple of times now. I bought a stealth cam fusion and added it to the plan also and since then neither camera has worked for more than a day or 2 at a time without resetting. I feel your pain… I don’t recommend these.
Make sure you're using a class 10 SD card. On the front of your card you'll see a number with a C around it. That's what class your card is. Also make sure it's 36GB or less.
If the it's not sending the pics to your phone does it still have them on the SD card.

I’m having literally the exact same issue right now. I called customer support today and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it, they told me they were going to send me an email tomorrow morning and to fill out for the warranty and they want me to send my camera back and when they receive it they are going to send me a new one.. mine also worked great for the first month and now it’s doing this, I have the right SD card in it too.

I was billed and they never gave me the 30 days free and I have not used it once just turned it on set it up turned it off.

Just bought this 12 hours ago and I don't like it, it won't send pics to my phone, I know animals are walking by and not taking pictures, if nothing by morning I will return it to the store, I finally got a pic of nothing...no people or animals just weeds and a tree at 4 am, I know a herd of deer went through here last night and I didn't get a single pic. Just now I walked in front of it to see if it will take a pic then checked my phone and didn't take a photo at all after hitting the reset button, not worth the time and frustration

Ugh I'm so annoyed right now. Just bought recently and two cameras have no signal. Suddenly upload time is once daily ugh such a pain! Also customer service is nonexistent and email is even worse so I'm going try get down, since had someone install them for me! I'm not tall enough do it myself ugh

Go into the app and make sure your range is set to as far as possible. The camera range sucks regardless, the thumbnail image that is sent to your phone won’t be as good of a quality as the picture on the sd card. The sd card stores the full sized image
Having problem with mine also will take test photo and send it and will not send any other photos
ben m that’s strange. I’ve noticed sometimes I can see the pictures if I logon to the stealth command website but I can’t see them through the app!

ben m that’s frustrating. You might look at the other comments on this video about the SIM card. I doubt that’s the issue in your case if you are still receiving the test photo though.

To fix this issue: These cameras need a class 10 SD card that is 36GB or less. On the front of your SD card, you'll see a number inside a C. The manufacturer recommends q class 10 card be used to ensure it works properly. When you put the card in, you'll need to format it. Press and hold the SYNC button and switch the camera on. Continue to hold SYNC until the lights turn red and shut off. Follow these steps and it will work.
If you give them a call they can troubleshoot and fix your problem. Most of the time delete app and download again will fix it.
I can't get any 1 on the phone or 2 email me back . Mine wont turn on 3 different kind of batteries still no luck.

Just purchased this camera and it will not sync to my app. I keep getting the second read light for wifi.
Pull out sd card for 30 seconds, put it back in. Hold sync and turn camera on. Hold sync till all 3 lights blink red then release. Wait till all green are solid then turn off. Test the camera.
I have two of them now and 7 spypoint link micros. IQ is far superior on the muddy. I havent had one issue with the cams in two months...knock on wood. I do have to swipe up the app to close it often though but everything has worked as advertised so far. Do not buy the link micro, thats for sure. CS sucks over there also.
Not happy with our three as well. Only get a pic at midnight and these are placed very far away so I just cant grab em without a few miles hike. Upsetting to say the least especially with the additional money spent on locks, batteries and the memory cards- makes this affordable camera a very expensive tree ornament.
We switched to the tactacam reveals and haven’t had a problem yet.

Have 3 and there 10 hours away . Sent pictures great for 30 days so I purchased the yearly plan. Haven’t seen a picture since. No way to talk to anyone trying to call been on hold over the last 2 weeks sometimes 3 hours at a time. Don’t waste your time and money with this junk. They don’t email back either

These cameras are garbage. At first they seemed to have been working fine but after a couple of months I've notice that they don't really. Started to realize there is a lot of game I am missing. Some times they work, sometimes they don't. Most of the time they don't. I've sat and watched deer and bear come and go and "dance' around in front of my camera but I get no photos of them. The only photo I got was of me walking up to the camera to check if it was on after seeing the game animals there. I bought 4 of these and none of them work. I've had them for too long so I can't return them. What an unbelievable waste of money.

Especially since a lot of people seem to be having the same problems and Muddy doesn't seem to be acknowledging the issues with these cameras. I am certainly going to reconsider buying Muddy products in the future.

I just bought one of these and put it out. All seemed fine, set up was a breeze, app looked great. Test pictures went to phone fine. Then absolutely nothing. This morning I went out there and there had been high traffic without a single picture being taken. None to phone and none on card. All readings indicate there is not a problem with battery, card or signal. So disappointed and getting boxed to return right now. I had been looking for some clue as to what was wrong and it seems these are just junk so no sense trying to get it to work for me. Going to return and get a reveal.
@@wendybuck3823 Yup. It's been over a year and I still have the problems. These are going in the garbage. Muddy knows of the issues with these cameras and yet they keep making them with no fix or improvements.
This camera sucks! We are taking ours back to store for a refund and will buy a different brand. I don’t even care if it costs more at this point. Customer service sucks and the instructions to fix this camera doesn’t work for us! Ugh!!!!!!!
