Tea’s Kazuya is a demon. He’s so much more random than Riddles and he’ll spam them kill moves like an elite smash player. Pure degenerate gameplay

I love the headshake sometimes Tea does after losing a stock - looking down on the ground then back focused on screen with his sitting posture, it's one of "Dang, but don't worry I will have another chance". He is always so positive and relaxed. Great showman indeed!

And that is exactly what Smash should be. ”The most optimal” might be the best way to do things, but it easily loses the shine and fun of the game when the most optimal thing is literally 5 things, spamming aerials and up B. For example, there is no real Game&Watch without the use of the fun Hammer every now and then, that is a big part of the character and makes the games fun.
@@grydon6422 I think what people fail to realize is that "Most Optimal" isn't really the only way to win. Every top player, be it Leo, Proto, or Tea will sometimes just throw out a move to check you for doing options. Optimal is good, but sometimes, you just gotta throw out those high risk high reward moves, especially after conditioning.
@@Endershock1678 That's because playing "the most optimal way" is almost a sure loss. Being predictable means you will always lose, no matter how perfectly you might execute every single tech. Any pro player has to be creative at some degree. That's why even some very notable examples seem to abuse of playing "silly/brave", like Mango, but are still very successful... because they are just way too unpredictable.

He would no doubt if he stops dropping those critical electrics so much. Really puts the brakes on the character
Riddles is still better but tea plays like this unpredictable burst shotgun of infinite unguessable moves and it's hard for a lot of top players to counterplay

@@johnbao444 It’s heavily situation dependent. Ur opponent needs to be lower percent than you or dead even. Kazuya outputs so much damage that its not often thats the case. Plus if Kazuya is high damage they’ll be scared of grab in general due to rage drive. Riddles does it when Riddles can lol

Haven't played Kazuya at all. In fact I don't have him downloaded yet. Is he like smash 4 bayo I'm the sense that... "If you get hit you die"? How difficult is it to get those combos and how difficult is it to land a combo starter in neutral?
basically yes. he's as “bad” as smash 4 bayo in a way that it seems like he wasn't properly play tested. very degenerate character.
his combos and inputs take practice especially the 0tds but it's nothing the game hasn't seen
He has a special invincible dash and a move thats invincible and stuns the opponent which sets up for his combos. Also has armor on many moves.
A single grab from him can also lead to death.
If kazuya hits you, you're either taking a ton of % or straight up losing a stock unless they mess up.
His combos are insane, but no where close to smash 4 bayo's. If you know how to escape his combos, you shouldn't be dying at 0 unless in very specific situations. His combos are extremely difficult to land. ewgf, his main combo tool, takes some time to get consistently, but even after learning the input, he has several techs that are several times harder to learn than ewgf that are required in order to hit his combos against players who know the mu and how to mix up their di. It's quite hard to land his combo starters in neutral against good players (stress on good). Kazuya has a very linear and horrible neutral, so good players are able to deny kazuya in neutral.
Kazuya has multiple true 0 to deaths that once you master kill at 0 or do like 120% in one combo. He's heavy and has invincibility, armor, and intangibility on almost everything. Has a lot of extra shield damage and has a comeback mechanic he also has idle armor and has very high damage output. Engaging a Kazuya and making a mistake if curtain death. He's basically the most DLC privilege character they've ever made.

I think he shook his head because he very well could of lost that match if tea hadn’t dropped a confirm right at the end OR used a different move other than demon god fist on the roll read at the end. Probably didn’t feel like he earned the win
