Tera was simply put, a fairytale story. You couldn't write the story anymore perfect than it did. Beating smash4's best European player in Mr. R, lose to the first seed to fall into one of his biggest bracket demon in the form of bloom only to 3-0 him, hits a bump with light but gets through to get his runback vs sparg0 to beat him in a game 5 set. Then, you have a even set record between two good friends who have both used wario. The optimist who believed in wario till the very end and the the pessimist who gave up on wario long ago going toe to toe ending in a close clutch comeback.
Tera is probably the most hyped I've ever been for a tournament. It was really something else watching this live, and I've never been as happy watching smash as when Glutonny wafted Tweek in game 5.
The gamer rage was crazy but I mean it was like the biggest supermajor grand finals game 5 and he had a huge lead on the last stock and choked I’d be tight as hell
I was at this guy's first ever tournament! Kid was a prodigy, we all knew it was only a matter of time before he'd pull off something like this. Only took this long because the rest of us weren't good enough and we were holding him back
Fuck yeah! it's so good to see more people talk about Gluto, it's hard to realize how much work he puts into the game. He studies every matchups so much and that's what's keeping him so strong in the long run. Allez Gluto
I think it's rather important to talk about how good the relation between Gluto and his team Solary is, it's very beautiful to see Now he competes for himself, his team, his country and his continent, such a warrior
I remember watching him back in the brawl days when I was still in high school man is a og. Idk how he has the drive to keep grinding smash for many years. But that is respect god damn.
Fun fact, I’m pretty certain this was the first post quarantaine big event where gluto won over the invited overseas players, which makes the 1st place that much more significant. For example we have Temple(Lost to Tea), KoF 2(Lost to Maister), Colossel(Maister again), L’Odysseé(Gackt), UFA(Tea and Hikaru)
What makes it even sweeter is that Gluto and Tweek were interviewed and in that interview Tweek basically said that he won't play wario because he's not good enough lol
I was in the chat during this event and I've never rooted for Gluto before but you better believe I was there copying and pasting the French and screamin at my TV! The energy around Tera was unlike nearly any other event. MAD HYPE
Seeing Bee in the crowd really makes me happy. Even though Tweek lost seeing her go through it all with him makes me glad. And makes Tweek seem more human.
The only think I didn't like about this video was seeing Sparg0 with the usa flag, like cmon man he is such a mexican warrior, anything apart from that was so good, good video!

Just a quick suggestion Walt, watching these set winning clips AFTER you already described exactly what is going to happen takes a lot of the punch away from the clip itself. Maybe set up for an ambiguous result, then show the clip? Great video regardless though!
Its bad but I always get gluttony's and Elegant mixed up. Elegant was canceled for getting drunk and shitting himself in front of multiple women. I dont mean like 1 time I mean he did this multiple times. According to the internet that is. Ultimate players are something else...

I don’t like Wario in smash. I think waft is lame and something just irks me about how his moves hit. That being said, Gluto is incredibly cracked, and I can not deny that.
I adore waft at conceptual level but what stops me from adoring the move is that it doesn't reset with each stock Wario was so close to being smash's urian T wT
@@bokc_ellis Part of what I don’t like about waft is that it kind of incentivizes camping for charge. I don’t really see Gluto do that often, and I don’t know any other Wario players so it isn’t that bad. The other reason I don’t like waft is that I don’t like comeback mechanics in general. I’m a fan of good neutral and general advantage throughout a match. Obviously edgeguards and certain combos can turn the tides of a match, and I’m fine with that. But I’m personally not a fan of mechanics that encourage this. Either way, I’d say waft and most other comeback mechanics are pretty balanced. I just don’t really like them.
@grunklesam787 You have to camp with wario even without waft bro 😂😂😂. He's a passive aggressive character. You have to bait and punish. Baiting forces camping. His hit boxes prevent you smacking blblindness. You cant use him like you would pyra and Mothra or cloud. EVERY attack has to be measured
I'm so sorry but wtf is that editing. There are waayyyy to much noise, the music is to loud, sometime wrong things pop up (like the brawl 100 list). I don't know why it is like this but I found the video impossible to watch.
@@turndownforwalt I personally just have a problem with the first few minutes of the video (before the beginning of the Tera summery). Even if I found the voice pretty low i found that the main problem is really the noises that happen where something pop up. I personnaly found them annoying, too loud and not necessary. It is just my opinion and besides that i think it is a great video. I really love the channel and I it to continue living for as long as possible. (Sorry for all grammar error I am French)

WAFT Is 100% balanced. Everything that makes it good is 100% on you and your skill. If you hit your combos waft will be great
