They didn't need to do Kazuya mirrors. They could've very well done Terry vs Pac-Man. But they didn't. They both knew what the audience wanted. They both knew what we have all came to see. KAZUYA MISHIMA WINS!
I counted 28 electrics in game 1, 30 electrics in game 2, 20 electrics in game 3, and 37 electrics in game 4. A combined total of 115 electrics in this set, assuming I counted correctly.
I love Kazuya mirrors, they're just so memey. You basically just get to take turns showing off how cool your combos are to the other person, not to mention cheesy dodging and grab/ewgf clanking when you both go for the same move.

For instance, Dabuz has around 30-40 million people just in his vicinity; there are a lot of killers in Tristate. We won’t know how good riddles is for another year or two, imo.

That last footstool stock was perfect. These games are so explosive, the stocks are flying so fasr. I like how they both nod their heads when the other gets a stock. Much respect between these two.

I dont know how the matchups are, but tea could have easily switched to pacman, and riddles could have easily switched to one of his many other characters, but i respect that they didnt.
Rewatching this set, and finally noticing the intense conditioning tea had on riddles. Riddles final get up attack whiffed cause he kept doing it all set. Tea had him in checkmate asf.

I don't think he feels too bad. The MU is pretty volatile. Anyone can just die if they guess right, and Tea's Kazuya almost beat Leo. So he's very good with the character to say the least.
I finally got to see this these to play the mirror match and I must say that this is definitely the most Kazuya set I will probably every see in my life.

Riddles could have counter picked to Terry. But he didn’t. He gave us all the show we wanted, even if it meant losing. Some things are more important than winning. Like having fun and putting on a good show. And in the end, that’s what fighting games are all about. Good on you Riddles. Also I’m actually shocked Tea won. Riddles is THE FGC character master and Tea beat him at his own game. Mad respect to Tea as well. Please come to more American tournaments.

At the last game last stock, one Kazuya punished another Kazuya's mashing with side B, which was a secret solution for him.
