Leo doesn’t have to beat Leo to win every tournament. It’s unfair lol
It’s both exciting yet incredibly frustrating that there are so many players who can potentially beat Leo but fall short of literally the tiniest margins. Imagine being so close to beating him: Cosmos, Sparg0, Tea, Kola, so many of these players who can draw blood from Leo but just can’t quite drive the sword (or ghost, in Pac-Man’s case) all the way through.
Wow. Cosmos really held his own against Leo. That last match had my heart racing.
Straight up plot armor. Right when you think he’s lost; he keeps going. This man is the greatest smash player of all time.
The fact that Cosmos was the one who decided to play Apex of the World, the
Smash Ultimate continues to be my favorite anime.
Leo is so good it's staggering. Zero was dominant in Sm4sh but the way Leo does it in ult by leveling up against his competition is something else. The dude is literally a one of a kind genius of the game
Leo is literally like the final boss. You beat him in two games? He switches to the next phase, changes up his character, and it only gets harder. And it was even playing Fire Emblem Three Houses music on that last Byleth game on Small Battlefield (every final boss has their theme song). If someone is ever gonna stop him, it’ll be incredibly difficult. Who knows what other phases he even has after the second?
Cosmos was so clean, he can be proud of what he's achieved
Cosmos surprised me a lot this tournament. That said, Leo is Leo. Looking forward to more from Cosmos and Sparg0.

It is so hilarious that MkLeo keeps winning with Byleth, a character that can canonically reverse time whenever he fucks up.
Here is a major tip: NEVER play Three Houses music against MkLeo's Byleth.
It’s so poetic that Apex of the World was the song playing in the last game with Leo playing Byleth.
Insane that the answer to all these tough questions top players keep asking is just his trusted/beloved Byleth. We are privileged to see players of Sparg0, Cosmos, and especially Leo's caliber.
I'm only a spectator but I'm very grateful to the organizers for doing something as epic as SWT was, they are just geniuses. Being able to watch so many Top Players from each region of the planet gathered in the same tournament was magical. All the competition was of a very high level, from the group stage there was already a lot of tension and was shocking (and sometimes painful) to watch so many sacred cows eliminated too soon.
This set was legendary, Cosmos was so unexpected and he comes from LCQ, i think he has the best Mythra ever, i was hoping for the reset, i wanted to see a bit more!
1st in PGR, EVO and now SMASH WORLD TOUR.
