looking for exhaust on a iroc ive been restoring, its got a xe280h cam and vortec heads, holley efi, now im trying to find the perfect sound. i think this may be it. 4 years into this build
I ran Hedman headers and Y pipe. Welded up some expanders and elbows to run back at the factory angles into the SLP kit. Sounds badass like the car in this video. Mines not the fastest car in town but she's fun AF to drive
@@honkylips69 im just restoring a irocz and decided to keep the sbc for a bit with heads and cam. im down to exhaust and pulleys and can finally start it up longer then 10 seconds. this exhaust seems to be the least trailer parky
@@MountainCamber some would call it the most trailer parky lol. But i think it sounds the best. Way better than the factory sideways muffler setups. I paid $450 for a 92 RS T top sitting under a tree. Took me a year and a half plus 5k rebuilding. Best deal of my life!!! Have fun and good luck with yours
@@MountainCamber Definitely glass packs are lol. SLP is like a tuned straight pipe system. For as loud as it is outside there's not much drone inside either
Nate Pendleton bolts straight on - no not to my knowledge Easy to install if you have a welder and some clamps the loud mouth 1 like what I have works great. Just need to move the hangers to work with the third gen
@@natependleton8461 2.5 should be good. i beilive my mid pipe is 2.5 also but it does step up to 3in where the slp slips on. and i would just look around for the best deal. You can buy direct from slp them selves just go into the 98-02 firebrd/camaro section and find the catback you want.
Wheels are from OEwheelsLLC.com. They are c5 vette replicas. Fronts are 18x9.5 and rears are 18x10.5 don’t know the backspacing. Tires are 275/35r18 and rears are 295/35r18 currently have Bridgestone potenzas on them
I'm pretty sure that's an aftermarket extended spoiler for 3rd gen Camaro's. I like it, the factory spoiler is like 3 or 3.5 in, whereas that's a 5in spoiler and it gives off the look of the 2nd gen Camaro's and Firebirds. I plan on putting on on my 3rd gen but from what I've heard i's a pain in the ass to install.

Car has a set of Ground Control weight jacks with Eibach springs and Kyb adjustable shocks and struts.

I have a stock 89 camaro 305 with a 2.5 inch pipe. Is there an SLP kit that bolts straight on or that’s easy to install?

This was a 280h cam from summit racing 280/280 duration, .467/.467 lift and a 110 lobe separation
