Im still trying to understand how JoJo and them will profit from someone else’s property?! long term!? If JoJo and Jordan won’t own it..Are they listing agents? Im so confused. If the owners pay JoJo and Jordan to renovate it will Jojo and Jordan continue to make money after its rented and if so how? I don’t think I understand how this works at all!
Jo & Jordan make the investment of renovation, improvements, etc etc. Plus they use social media and their own marketing skills to promote the property. So with that in mind they figure the median cost to rent the place per night and figure an average occupancy and from the total revenue at the end of the month, they calculate a payment to the property owners... so they go into a partnership with the property owners and each party gets their percentage. Roughly speaking.

Wait what, they only make $700 a month off of the rental? So Jojo and Jordan are renting the house and making the rental money? Wouldn't it be better for them to get a loan and hire a contractor?
They have really great ideas and they obviously know how to be a commodity and market their brand. Great! I understand it's a new show and they'll find their comfort zones as they progress. That being said, the kitschy, unfunny moments are kind of disarming. They're not cool, and that's perfectly wonderful, it comes off as trying too hard and the writers need to stop trying to make moments of tension and drama by making supplies late or water pressure issues... I think the show is going to be a big hit, just let it work its magic and stop trying so hard. Oh yes and the branding, like the the plaque that's about as big as a steer's head and the postcards with their little caricatures... The insinuation of their personalities into the guest's experience is a bit too 'Primetime TV-Ryan Seacrest' overkill.

Jojo has waaaayyyyy too much Botox. She’s lost her all American girl look. Jordan has a great voice.

Reality Shows are scripted because... VIEWERS. They are fantastic people. This show is a s "real" as a reality show can be.
