Jordan is so lovely. He comes across much better than on the Bachelor. Or I think it’s the fact that on the Bachelor the ‘storyline’ was that he was maybe doing it for fame or couldn’t commit (cos he didn’t ask her dad for permission to marry her immediately) but 3 years later they’re still together and are a lovely couple. Jordan seems so genuine and sweet!
If you leave the desserts up to Jordan, he’ll have a room that looks like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. 😂

My cousin's wedding was GORGEOUS and they did something that I thought was very smart. The day after the wedding, they flew from Georgia to Colorado and spent a week hiking and doing outdoorsy nature stuff and then about 3 months later, they took a bigger trip to Europe and spent almost a month traveling through Europe so they sort of had the best of both worlds in terms of honeymoon. Just a fun idea!
Advice on honeymoon! You definitely want to go right after the wedding. It’s so nice to detox from the crazy BUT don’t go next day go day after next! It’s nice to see off long distance family, sleep in next day, take gifts back to house, not have to stress pack, etc then go!

I went to a wedding in Raleigh NC which Jordan was in attendance, before the Bachelorette life begun, and he was the kind of guest you want, dude can party. Best believe y'all will have a FUN wedding!

We did the garter and bouquet toss but we wrapped the garter around a football because my husband played college football. All his friends loved it and you can get it personalized, ours said “great catch you’re next” with our names and the date. ♥️

I feel like Jordan would be such an involved fiancé in the wedding planning which is really nice! I got married in a greenhouse and loved it!!! We were still outside for our ceremony but dining within trees in the greenhouse.
My unsolicited advice is to focus on what’s important to you two and feels like you as a couple and the best weddings I’ve been to is where you feel special as a guest. It’s the best!! enjoy!!!!

I am so excited for you guys! My wedding was so much fun! We did a first look, and got all of our formal pictures done before the wedding. We wanted to be able to enjoy our cocktail hour with our friends and family. We were so happy to have all of the pictures done while our make up was fresh, and before everyone started crying! We had an absolute blast! I highly recommend doing this!

Ya’ll literally just described our wedding this year in March lol. Lots of cypress trees, lake in background, & greenery on tables.
One tip for the outdoor wedding, tents are EXPENSIVE (8-10k), and the deposits aren’t refundable (around 1k to book). But Mother Nature is unpredictable and a plan B has to be in place. If you can find a venue to fit all your guests outside & inside for a plan B...it’s ideal. Only mistake that we made with ours (that i know of lol).

Ohhh one thing to consider, have a very organized gift receiving table during the wedding. One of the hacks we used for organizing gifts is this: Let's say person A brings a gift, write their name down as #1, and place a #1 sticker on that gift. Then person B brings a gift, write their name down as #2, place a #2 sticker on that gift and so on and so forth. To go even further, make them write down their address too so then you will know where to send their thank you cards too. I did this for our wedding and it was superrr helpful! Plus then you can keep track of those who didn't bring gifts! Don't be surprised, it happens!

My husband and I didn't do the garter or bouquet toss and LOVED the way our reception wasn't broken up. We spent the entire night just dancing/having fun without having to stop to do any of those "traditional" activities.

New Orleans French jazz wedding would be bomb. It’s my dream wedding destination, the food, architecture, music and vibe are just out of this world. Also, Charleston, South Carolina brings that tropical down south element, but very very sophisticated with the absolutely gorgeous homes and scenery and beautiful, sweet locals. It’s one of my all time favorite spots to escape. Best of luck choosing your happily ever after spot, I’m sure it will be great as you both seem to have great aesthetic taste❤️
