@@OneManUnmanned i also have the same problem when landing or hitting the ducts on something too hard them nylon bolts tend to slide down the screw's i have some steel bolts that would fit instead i think i might put them on with some locktite, i think that will make it verry durable as the only problem i tend to have in a crash is them bolts sliding down and the steel ones weigh 0.5g might be worth the weight of the steel bolts to make the drone more solid:)
The bolts do not really back out. Real problem is, BetaFPV in their infinite wisdom chose to use nylon M2 nuts on these bolts that hold together the frame, the prop guard, and the AIO board sandwiched in between. So what happens in a crash, the prop guard pushes on these bolts, and nylon nuts basically skip their threads, compress the rubber FC mounts, and then get stuck in that new position. Now the bolts are not fastened to the frame, there is a gap, and the frame wiggles around relative to the AIO and the prop guard. Re-tightening these nuts is not a solution as they are now weaker and will strip even easier next time you crash. Replacing those with steel M2 nuts is the first thing anyone should do to their new Pavo20 Pro or the original Pavo20 which has the same exact problem. You're welcome :)
It may be an intentional failure point. Using metal nuts could just transfer the energy from a crash to a more expensive or harder to replace part of the quad.
Can't believe they released a "Pro" version without making it 4S capable. I also broke a canopy, just above the air unit, on the Pavo 20 ..just used some super glue.. flies fine.
It has all 3 modes. I don’t know if the Avata2 RC is compatible with O3 yet. I think thats coming soon. Once it becomes available and compatible with O3, then you can use that controller with that setup.
@@OneManUnmannedAvata 2 goggles and controller are compatible now. Just need to make sure both the goggles 3 and 03 are updated to latest firmware. But you need to select the correct receiver on the buy page. If you buy an ELRS receiver it will be ready to bind with an ELRS remote. If you buy PNP receiver, it comes ready to bind with the DJI remote.
Just to clarify, you are saying that a DJI FPV controller 2 will work with this setup also? I’m guessing you can just bypass the receiver in betaflight and make it all DJI controlled?
It says Caddx camera support..As long as it's a 19-20mm camera, it should fit. There is a VTX adapter mount in the box, but I'm not certain it would fit. I understand your take though.
I just ordered a frame kit and putting cinerace20 motors on mine which run on 4s…. Anticipating it will rip like crazy, or shake apart so hard from the pure torque it explodes lol
Thanks for the review. I can't wait for your review of Pavo 20 Pocket!
Beautiful flight. Just got mine, waiting for decent weather for maiden flight
Dope!! 😎
Thanks!
Nearly finished my build. 🎉 Cheers for your review. 🍺
Thanks bro..I really appreciate that. Looking forward to seeing your build.
Nice for a 3s. I always enjoy watching your videos. Mahalo for sharing.
Thanks, I appreciate that. I do feel the 3s is enough for this drone.
12:20 I had a similar problem with the Pavo 20. I had to replace a screw that was a spare in the kit. My crash wasn’t that soft. :D
Interesting...Glad to know I wasn't the only one experiencing this.
Thanks!
Nice flying, is this recorded on the o3? if yes, can I ask for your o3 Setttings? Thanks!
Sorry for the late reply..All Factory settings except white balance set to Daytime.
id class that as quite a hard crash myself lol, did you crack the 03 camera hood there or was it already like that?
Great observation... It was already cracked and hanging on prior to this, but this cash didn't help either.

Under 1 min team ❤❤
Haha.. That's what's up! 👊
Yes😀😀😀👍
Curious on your thoughts on this over the Cinelog20 or Talon20
Sorry, I don’t own or have flown any of those drones..Sorry.

Cool always wanted a fpv with LED lights on it
It's not a bad drone... In fact, the standard Pavo20 is just as good.
Do you use blue locktite when building this?
It already came assembled, but I did not use it while securing the canopy.
You need to be very careful using blue Loctite around plastics. The solvent will bleed into the plastics and melt it in half. Propellers too.

I guess they are reserving 4s for the Pavo25 and higher. The 3s isn't too bad and saves on weight.
AMAZING!! has it the 3 modes: ANGLE, HORIZON and ANCRO?? or just ACRO?? can I fly with DJI Avata 2 RC ? thanksss

Que velocidade incrivel. Estou praticando voos rápido com um mini 2 em modo esporte, o Pavo 20 é fantástico.
? So if I purchased this, can I put my DJI 03 unit on there and connect my controller and goggles to it
Technically yes...They will all work together, but you'll need to go into the "Receiver Tab" of BetaFlight and make some changes.

No moonlight 4k support, i have to pass 😢

Based on the specs it should fit, I was planning to do this setup
To bad its not 4s its pretty cool though 👍
Yeah, maybe on their next version…I don’t think the current FC/ESC can handle 4s.

my pavo 20 lossens itself all the time and shudders it sucks asss
Just need to ditch the nylon nuts and swap for steel nuts and that problem will disappear
interesting.
I’ll buy it if you want to sell.
